Caroline's P.O.V.

'How has being adopted changed your life?' the interviewer asks me. I love interviews. I've been doing them since I was five. "The last 10 years have been crazy. They've been up and down. Sometimes they were down right horrid. But they've been the best 10 years of my life." 'It's been a while since anything has happened with your biological father. Is he in the picture?' That set me off. "No. No no no no no no no no. He will never be a part of my life. I'm 15 he hasn't seen me since I was 5. And he never will." 'Have you ever wished you were adopted by a normal family. Someone who wasn't famous?' "At times. But then I look at my life and at others who have a simple life and think I'm the luckiest person ever. If I could go back and change time so my mum and dad didn't adopt me well I wouldn't." 'You always call them mum and dad. Have you ever called them by their real names? Like some adopted children do.' "No. They are my mum and dad. They raised me. They taught me life lessons. They kissed me goodnight. If I called them Zayn and Perrie it's be like living with strangers." 'Final thing. Give me your whole life with Zerrie in a nutshell.' "My life in a nutshell." I pause to think of what to say. "My life has been up and down and crazy and wild and fun. It's the best life ever. I was the only child in the group. I mean I was raised by One Direction and Little Mix. And until Louis and El's daughter, Macy, was born when I was 13, I was the only one. They spoiled me to death. Sometimes I wished I had normal parents. My friends would go to the mall and I couldn't go because I had to go to the studio and work and things like that. But then it was amazing at the same time. I got to go back stage at concerts and see movies before others. It's been the best 10 years. And I can't wait for more. Basically I've had an amazing life and I couldn't be more thankful to my parents." I smile before I finish my speech "My life was truly changed when I was adopted by Zerrie."
