Perrie's P.O.V.
After the girls left this morning I went to get Caroline up. I go in her room to find her and the puppies all snuggled up on her bed. I pick her up and carry her to the kitchen. She wakes up when I sit her down. "Today we are going to have dinner for breakfast." I announce taking out last nights left overs. "Okay but I ate all my dinner. What am I going to eat?" she questions me. "You can eat Jade'a fish and chips she left here. Do you like fish?" I asks putting the food in the microwave. "I don't know I've never had fish that I can remember." she says as I sit it on a plate and give it to her. "You will like it. So eat up and then we can take the dogs on a walk." I tell her putting a chip in my mouth. I go back to the fridge to get my food when I hear Caroline coughing. I look at her and her face is red and she's scratching her throat. She's taking about 4 bites of the fish. I think for a second and then realize. What if she's allergic to it. I pick her and run to the car. "It will be okay baby. It will be okay." I repeat as I drive to the hospital. When we get there I carry her in be a nurse runs up to us. "What happened?" she asks. "We were eating breakfasting. She was eating some fish and I turn for a minute and she started coughing. She had told me she had never had fish before so I think she's allergic." I say handing Caroline to her. "Okay let's get her to a room."
After an hour of test and taking medicine they tell me she is deadly allergic to fish and if I had not have brought when I did she might not have made it. They give me medicine for her to take and send us home. I put her on the couch and call Zayn. "Please pick up please pick up." I say. "Hello." Zayn says on the other end. "Hi Zayn." I sigh its nice to hear his voice. "What's wrong? I can hear it in your voice? Did something happen to Caroline?" he asks protectively. "I had to take her to the ER. She's allergic to fish and I didn't know so I fed her some for breakfast. I'm a terrible mother. We've only had her for 2 months and in that time she's been in the ER twice." I say into the phone. "Perrie calm down. You are wonderful and she loves you. We didn't know. When we hang up call the orphanage and ask if they knew that. Okay. Calm down." Zayn says sweetly. "Okay. Thanks love. Goodbye." "Goodbye Perrie." he says hanging up. I call the number we have for the orphanage. "Hello London Orphanage for Girls. This is Sarah how may I help you?" I hear Sarah's voice on the other end. "Hi Sarah. This Perrie Edwards. My boyfriend Zayn and I adopted Caroline 2 months ago." I say. "Oh yes. How is she? It's been different without her here." she says. "She's been better. I called to ask you something. Did you know she was allergic to fish?" I ask her. "No. I didn't. I'm sorry. Did something happen?" she sounds concerned. "I gave her some fish for breakfast and she got sick and the doctor told us she was allergic. I wanted to call and see if you knew and make sure it wasn't something you forgot to tell us or we skipped over it when we read her file. She's all better now." I tell her. "That's good. Nice talking to you, Perrie. Goodbye." Sarah hangs up. "Goodbye." I do the same.
Zayn's P.O.V.
"Are you alright?" Louis looks at me. "It's Caroline. She had an allergic reaction to some fish. We didn't know she was allergic and it scared Perrie." I tell him thinking of my little princess. "Well, she's okay now." Niall puts his arm around me. "Lets video call her and she how she's doing." Louis says picking up the laptop. Perrie answers and puts the screen in Caroline. "Hi Daddy!" she smiles. "Hi Princess. How are you feeling?" I ask her. "I got sick this morning but now I'm better!" she says. "That's good. I miss you." I tell her. "I miss you too Daddy. When are you coming home?" she whines. "We will be home next Sunday. Okay?" I tell her. "Okay Daddy." she says. "We have to go start the concert. I will call you in the morning. Goodnight Princess." I tell her when Louis points to his watch. "Goodnight Daddy." she says as Perrie closes the laptop. We finish the concert and head to the back room. That was a great crowd.
Caroline's P.O.V.
"Time for bed sweetheart." Mummy says. She changes me into my pajamas and puts me in my bed. She puts Buttons on my bed and kisses my head. "Goodnight Mummy." "Goodnight Princess." she closes the door. Soon I fall asleep and have nice dreams.
