Zora's POV

I stood there with a dumbfounded look. I was I suppose to answer the question and also everyone looked my way and this added to my tension.
I looked at Alina for help but she averted my gaze. I looked helpless I
almost teared up.

Now I was an easy target for bullies. "Ugh Mrs Williams I think she doesn't want to talk and I think we should give her time to get used to us. You know how we are different from her."
I turned to look at this boy with a messy hair and green eyes who came to my aid.

The teacher nodded and the boy gave me a wide grin and I smiled back. What shocked me was how they knew I know about them. But what hurts me the most was how Alina reacted. It was finally lunch and I decided to follow Alina because I was new here. But she said to not follow her. She isn't my babysitter.

I wasn't expecting this outburst from her . Seems like I'm never getting someone to like me. "Hey I'm Aiden and I wanted to say you owe me for saving your face back there". I turned around to find the boy who spoke up for me. I furrowed my brow to ask why I owed for something I didn't ask for. Ignoring the face I made he proceeded to ask for my name. He took steps towards me and I took steps back till a hit a locker. "Upon closer look new girl, you look gorgeous too bad you are soon going to be someone's meal, tell me your name beautiful. "

His words made me cringe, and I gulped when I heard I was going to
be someone's meal real soon. "Zora!, Get away from her Aiden!!" I quickly ran towards Alf and hugged him. He was the only one I found comfort in. Really strange. I sobbed quietly in his embrace. I was scared, I know Alf had ask if I wanted to go back to my parents but I refused. But I really wanted to get away from here my parents and just go somewhere no one knows me. He creased my hair softly. He told something to Aiden but I was to scared to even concentrate on it. "It's Alright Zora. Follow me, I want to show you something".

I wiped the tears of my face and looked at him waiting for him to tell me where we were going. " In your timetable, you have free period till the last bell before we close which is PE class and we will come back in time I promise." I nodded slightly and followed him to his car and we drove off. He stopped in the middle of nowhere. He got out and I did same.
He lead me to to one of the trees and we sat under it. "This where I usually come when I don't know what to do,when I fell stressed. It's really beautiful at night as they are lots of fire flies here."

" Zora , I know you might find all this overwhelming, And I know you don't know what to do either. But I really have to tell you this. It has really been on my mind and I know you also don't know how you feel these things". Before he could outer another word a loud shriek was heard followed by moans. This sounds freaked me out. What was it anyway?
