Alfie's POV.

Today was the day we trained the the pack members we claimed. Father had given them two days to get comfortable with their new pack. He also took the initiative to introduce the important heads of the pack.

We learnt from Simon that Alpha Lewis was a ruthless man. He would let them pay for the room you slept in in the pack house. And if you couldn't he would bed your mate and worst he would kill you.

He did all this because he needed money to run his casino business as the humans were getting smarter than him and sometimes stole all his money.

What disgusted me most was that he married my mate. And this got me more worried. This was the reason why beta Simon came to our aid. Now we all shifted into our wolf forms to train.

Though I was physically there with them my I was mentally with my mate . I wondered why it had been two days and she still hasn't woken up. Did she hit her head too hard on the ground when I dropped her?

These thought made me slow in the training. Both my parents and the pack healer were the only ones who knew my mate was a human. Just then I saw mom coming my way with a huge smile plastered on her face.

When she came towards me, she used the mind link in to talk. We couldn't let anyone know about our secret.

"Your mate is awake. Just go I know how you've waited for this moment to happen. Don't worry I'll talk to you father".  She finally said as noticed my reluctance.

I speed off to the far east to see my mate. I entered the log house to see my mate. I saw the pack healer running some test on her and I sat there admiring her beauty.

She had dark olive skin and big obsidian eyes, she also had dark long hair which had a few strands of white in it. And her unique scent was very intoxicating. The healer came out and I entered.

The moment my mate saw me, She covered her body with the quilt and sobbed. I shifted back into my human and went near her. I promise I won't hurt you. I said as I caressed her hair. I knew she could feel the tingling thing that brought warm in my touch.

But I didn't know how to stop her cries. Uugh I wish I could learn a thing about girls from Phil and Albert.
At least that would have been a great help.
