Mitch POV

I see Emily and Jerome run down the stairs and into the kitchen. I admire Emily while she's running down. She's really pretty. Her hair is pretty long and her sense of style is spot on I mean like a creeper shirt? Uh that's awesome! Her eyes are beautiful! I mean if I wasn't her dad or anything and I was her age I would probably have a crush on her. I mean in a totally not creepy way at all. I don't have a crush on her right now cause I'm her dad but I think that whoever becomes her boyfriend would be really lucky. And if he treats her wrong then I'll will break all of his bones. I walk Into the kitchen and scare both of them. Emily screams and Jerome almost fell over "Oh come on biggums!" I yell laughing. Emily glares at me "you jerk!" Uh......I might be in trouble with her "ummmmmm sorry" I mumble and I try to back away slowly. "Seriously! Why would you do that Mitch!" She starts to scream. It's like I'm being gutted by her eyes. "I-I thought it was um funny?" I suggest and she shakes her head in disgust. she walks out of the kitchen and back up to her room. I messed that up. I mean we've only had her for a hour. "I'm sorry" I call out to her but she doesn't answer. Jerome looked at me sadly "it wasn't that funny Mitch." He told me quietly. I feel awful. Jerome walks out of the kitchen and up to her room and knocked on the door a loud voice echoed throughout the house and I heard it as clear as day "GO AWAY" she was so happy.....now look what I've done
