Jordan's POV:

I looked at Tucker confused for a second.  This is a joke right? It must be.  I burst out laughing.  This is when of the craziest jokes he's given me!

Tucker looks at me, utterly confused.  "What are you laughing about?"

I look up at him.  "This is one of the craziest jokes you have told me! Haha!"

He looks at me understanding.  "Oh...you think this is a joke..." He trails off.

At his odd behavior, I stop laughing.  Usually, when we joke around, he would have started laughing along with me by this point...It wasn't a joke?

"Wait...are you actually serious?"

He looks at me.  "As serious as I've ever been my friend."

Oh boy...So he was actually serious.  Sonja actually does want to adopt?  Hmm. I mean, I can see it.  She has always wanted to be a mother, so this makes sense.  

"I'm down with adopting.  I know her heart is set on it, so I'm down."

Tucker looks at me with surprise.  "You're serious?"

I look up at him.  "As serious as I've ever been my friend" I say mocking him.

He starts to chuckle.  "Welp.  I still need to talk to Tom, but since both you and Sonj want it, it would have Tom as the deciding vote."

Does this mean he actually doesn't want to adopt?  "Tucker...do you not want to adopt?"

He looks away.  "I mean...are we prepared for someone else?  We can barely take care of ourselves!"

I chuckle.  "I agree with you on that sense.  But to be honest, I feel that adding a new addition to the household will be good for us.  Especially if it's a girl.  I don't want Sonja to be the only girl in this huge house.  She could help Sonja with us."

He starts to laugh.  "The funny thing is that I was thinking that exact thing, just before I came in here.  I'm going to talk to Tom, and I'll make an anouncement on what happens."

He starts toward the door.  "I'll see you in a bit" I say.  

"I'll see in a bit, Sparkley-Pants."

I laugh quietly at my nickname, and continue my work.
