-One week later-

Annabeth's POV:

This has been by far the best week of my life! My parents may or may not have gone ham with my room.  Hehe. (Pic above) 

I mean, they gave me a mini fridge filled with Monster for late night streams! How cool is that?

I look down at my stomach.  It starts to growl. Ugh I'm starving! I'm going to go to the Starbucks down the street.  I both need a coffee and a cinnamon bun.

I walk down the stairs to the living room, peeking my head through the door.  Looking over at Sonja, I ask, "Hey Mom, can I go to the Starbucks down the road?" She looks back at me.

"Of course. Take your cell phone with you, and if you need anything, just call!"  I nod in response. "Okay, bye mom!"

I walk out the front door, and walk down the sidewalk to Starbucks.  I arrive about 10 minutes later.  Thank goodness it isn't crowded! 

I go up to the cashier and ask for the new Birthday Cake Frappuccino and a cinnamon bun.  Waiting at the station, I look around at the customer.  One in particular catches my eye.  A girl, maybe 4'11, sitting in a booth in the far corner of the room by herself, hunched over her drink.  Hmm...When I get my purchases, I'm going to go talk to her!  No one should be alone. I hear my name being called. "Annabeth? Birthday Cake Frapp with a cinnamon bun?"  I raise my hand.  The barista hands me my food, and I walk over to the girl.  She looks up in surprise when I approach.   She has tan skin, has dark hair, and caramel eyes. Her side bangs cover part of her face. 

"Hi.  Is this side of the booth taken?" I ask.  She shakes her head.  

I sit down, putting my hand out.  "My name is Annabeth.  And yours?"  She takes my hand weakly.  "Angie..." She mumbles.   (Hi BluePandaGirl8!)

"Hi Angie!  Why are you so alone?"  She looks away.  "I don't...have any friends.  Well, except my brother Adrian.  But he always leaves me to talk to this girl named Ana.  I think they are dating or something? I don't know."  

I chuckle.  "Well I will be your friend!"  She smiles at me, giving me a hug.  "Yay! I friend!"

We chat for the next few hours.  I find out she loves Pandas, minecraft, watching YouTube and playing all types of video games.  We have so many of the same interests! I check my watch.  

"Holy shit it's 7:45! I need to go eat dinner!"  She looks at me, suddenly sad.  I notice her expression, and I come up with an idea.  "Hey, want to come to my house and have dinner with me?  I just need to ask my parents, but it should be fine."  She nods enthusiasticly.  "Okay give me a second, let me just call them."  I turn on my iPhone 6 (they got me a new phone) and call Sonja.  She answers on the second ring.  "Hello?" she asks.  "Hi mom! Quick question.  Can I have a friend over for dinner?" There is silence for a couple seconds.  "Uh sure I guess! I wasn't expecting this, but sure!"  I start jumping up and down happily.  "Okay, thank you!  I will see you in a few.  Bye!"  I hang up, turning back to Angie.

"She said yes!"  Angie starts jumping as well.  Woohoo!  We both stop jumping, and I grab her hand, pulling her to the door.   "Come on Angie! Let's go!"
