Cara was still asleep, so Mitchell and Sarah both listened to their Ipod. It was the one thing kind of expensive they had, and it was from their neighbors.
Mitchell was listening to the Jonas Brothers, like he always did.
Sarah smiled, as her brother started 'What A Man Gotta Do'. "Now what?" She whispered.
Mitchell shrugged, tapping the beat out with his fingers.
They heard the door bang open, the siblings jumping up.
"Hey, calm down." The woman who owned the house said. "Some people wanna see you, bring your sister."
Mitchell and Sarah stared at each other, picking Cara up.
     They walked downstairs, not at all prepared for who was downstairs.
"What the fudge!?" Sarah exclaimed.
Karamo Brown laughed. "Hey, I'm Karamo, what's your names?"
"You're here? We're here? How the heck does that happen!?" Mitchell exclaimed.
"I'm Cawa!" Cara exclaimed.
"Hi! How old are you?" Karamo asked.
"I'm five!" The little girl exclaimed.
"Wow! That's awesome!" Karamo said. "Jonny! C'mere!"
Jonathan Van Ness turned around, then screamed excitedly. "There's a munchkin!"
Cara laughed, holding out her arms. "Jofan!"
"Aw! Hi, queen!" Jonathan said, holding out his arms.
Sarah instantly held Cara back. "Don't touch her."
"Don't worry, hunny, I'm not gonna hurt this little queen!" Jonathan said.
Sarah narrowed her eyes, letting the man with long hair hold her sister.
"What's your name, young lady?" Karamo asked.
"I'm Sarah, and I'm fifteen." Sarah said, clenching her hands into fists.
"Okay, what's your name?"
"I'm Mitchell." The middle McClaire kid said.
"Ooh! Can we call you Mitch? Mitchell is too much of a mouthful!" Jonathan said.
Mitchell shrugged. "Fine by me."
Karamo smiled. "I'm gonna talk to what's her name, I'll be right back."
  Jonathan fingered Mitchell's dark hair. "Are we trying to go for an emo look here?"
Mitchell flinched away as Jvn touched his face. "Y...yeah, um, emo."
Sarah grabbed her brother's hand. "I have a knife, tell me and-"
"You have a what now?" Jonathan asked.
"Um, I have his back." Sarah lied. "You know, siblings being there for each other.
"Right, okay." Jonathan said.
      "Guys!" Karamo exclaimed. "You're getting adopted!"
"WHAT!?" Mitchell and Sarah exclaimed.
"You're getting adopted! All three of you!" Karamo said.
Mitchell clamped his hands over Cara's ears. "This is so f--king amazing!"
Karamo and Jonathan laughed, as Sarah hit her brother's arm.
"To the van!" Jonathan exclaimed, carrying Cara outside.
"HEY!" Sarah screamed, running outside also. "Where the heck are you taking her?!"
"To our van, the one right there." Jonathan said, pointing to the large black van.
"Oh, um, sorry. I'm kind of jumpy."
"It's okay!" Jonathan said, putting Cara in her seat. "We'll be going home soon."
"Home?" Cara asked. "Where's home?"
"Home is in a big building with three other awesome guys named Antoni, Tan, and Bobby." Karamo said, turning the car on. "Okay, does everyone have on their seat belts?"
"CHECK!" The kids called back.
"Cool, home we go!"
