The Monday following Tony's interrogation was the first meeting between the Ultimates and the Avengers. Coulson had been appointed the moderator for both teams. The meeting had been set for after school, luckily so the teens' late arrival from school would go unquestioned. The day as the Avengers knew was club day for Midtown High. Unbeknownst to the Avengers however Peter and Co. were not in any clubs. Unless you count being a superhero to be a club.

~WITH THE ULTIMATES~

As soon as school ended Peter, Ava, Danny, Luke, and Sam beelined for where the Spider Cycle and the Power Bike were hidden. Danny would ride with Luke and Ava would ride with Peter.

Of course, they would have to change into their costumes first. They didn't want anyone to figure out that the vigilantes of New York were high schoolers. it took them a good while to get to the base that was in New York.

~WITH THE AVENGERS~

The Avengers hadn't told their resident teens about the meeting with the Ultimates that would take place today at a local S.H.I.E.L.D base because the teens were supposed to be home after the Avengers arrived back from the briefing. The announcement that was sent from Midtown said that clubs would run from four to six. The meeting was only supposed to take an hour and a half at most.

~S.H.I.E.L.D BASE~

The Ultimates were the first to arrive. As they walked up to the warehouse that housed the S.H.I.E.L.D. base. They were greeted by B.R.A.I.D which stood for Biometric Reading Artificial Intelligence Device.

They approached the device one by one. A blue light scanned them each before stating, SPIDER-MAN, WHITE TIGER, IRON FIST, POWER MAN, NOVA. LEVEL SEVEN. TEAM ULTIMATE.

"Thanks, B.R.A.I.D," the teens called as they walked through the entrance that had opened up.

YOU'RE WELCOME, the AI called back before turning to scan the Avengers that just entered.

This time instead of scanning all of the Avengers and then stating names and level B.R.A.I.D scanned Tony, Bruce, Thor, and Steve and stated, TONY STARK AKA IRON MAN, BRUCE BANNER, THOR ODINSON, STEVE ROGERS AKA CAPTAIN AMERICA. LEVEL SIX. AFFILIATION: AVENGERS.

The scanned Avengers were not expecting the voice and looked around. Clint and Natasha just smirked. The female AI then turned to them and scanned before saying NATASHA ROMANOFF AKA BLACK WIDOW, AND CLINT BARTON AKA HAWKEYE. LEVEL SEVEN. AFFILIATION AVENGERS AND S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Avengers walked through the door that opened as the last two were scanned. They were met with a pretty high-tech black interior. Agents walked through the halls as Natasha and Clint led the team toward the meeting rooms.

"Now that everyone is here," Coulson said as the Avengers walked into the room, "Avengers meet Ultimate. Ultimates meet Avengers. You know your mission so I'll leave you to get to know each other. Do whatever I just need those five back in thirty minutes for training." Coulson pointed at the teens and gave the Avengers a stern look. Everyone nodded in confirmation that the teen heroes would be back in time for training. 

Coulson shooed the teams out of the room. Sam started a very mature game of tag as soon as the stepped out of the room. 

"Tag you're it," Sam called as he touched Spidey's shoulder. 

"Oh, you're on, Bucket Head," Spider-Man called chasing after him. 

"Hey, wait for me," Luke ran to catch up. Danny and Ava smirked but joined the game. The Avengers did know what to do about what was going on but it seemed the employees did. 

Gracefully agents dodged, flying, and swinging teens. Spider-Man was the hardest to catch because of his Spider-Sense but Ava was just as hard with her graceful agility and senses. 

"Come on, join in," Spidey told the Avengers with a laugh dodging Danny's incoming hand. The hand landed on Steve. 

"Tag, you're it," Danny ran away. Steve thought about it for a second before tagging Tony and repeating Danny's earlier words. Everyone ran off as Steve tagged Tony. 

Tony had a fake look of betrayal on his face but it quickly vanished as he lept for an incoming Tiger. 

White Tiger was running straight toward Tony so as she crossed his path he lept for her and managed to tag her. 

"Tag, you're it," Tonny called over his shoulder. Ava smirked and ran in the opposite direction. 

All the while, S.H.I.E.L.D agents were continuously dodging superheroes. 

"Take it outside you guys. Honestly, I thought you were all mature," Fury ordered exasperated. His voice had a hint of fondness for the young heroes though. 

"Sir, yes, sir," the Ultimates gave a salute in unison. Fury hid his face in his hands and gave a slight chuckle. 

"Outside with it. Now!" The teens saluted once more and took off for the door. 

The last twenty minutes of 'bonding' -it was just a huge game of tag- passed quickly and the teens shuffled up to the training rooms when the time ran out.

"Seems like you guys had fun," Coulson said from the shadows of the training room, startling both the Avengers and Ultimates. 

"I'll excuse you guys from training this one time because you just spent thirty minutes playing tag with the Avengers," Coulson pushed himself away from the wall he was leaning on. 

The teens gave shouts of happiness and ran off before Coulson could change his mind. 

"Well, we best get going," Steve told Coulson, "It was good to see you again though." 

"Good to see you guys again too. Don't get killed out there, will ya?" 

"Of course," The Avengers laughed, "Now we need to get home before Tony's newest adoptee does." 

Tony sniffed indignantly, "He's my only adoptee." 

Natasha deadpanned, "Harley and Nebula." 

Tony couldn't argue so his jaw snapped shut. 

"If you want to count AIs in there then you also have, FRIDAY, Vision, and JARVIS." 

An audible snap was heard as Tony opened and closed his mouth. This was a fight he couldn't win. 

The end is probably like pure crack but hey. Also random crack fact my friend told me yesterday: Did you know the cooking temperature for crack is 400 degrees Fahrenheit?
