Chapter 5: Avengers
The story will probably move a little more fast paced for now because I have quite a few more book ideas that I want to do but I also want to finish all of my other books before starting a new one. More notes at the end.

Future me: *slinks in* *whispers* To late you already have another 2 drafts in the works and a 3rd idea. Not to mention all of the other full story ideas you have.
Past me: Okay! Okay I get it my brain flits from one idea to another and I want to finish my other stories I get it. I guess Will's nickname in Nihon-Ja could apply to me too. (If anyone can tell me what the nickname is ily)
It was two weeks after Fury gave the assignment to find Doc Oc. The team hadn't been able to find him, especially with having to sneak around most of the Avengers to do it.
Patrols weren't as long because at least one Avenger was always up at night whether because of nightmares or insomnia one or more Avengers were awake at ungodly hours of the morning.
The task would have been easier had FRIDAY not been told to keep an eye on the teens, so leaving and entering were strictly monitored. Any time one of the teens left for something that was not school or that the Avengers knew about, FRIDAY would alert the Avengers.
Natasha is the one who got the first alert, so she told the teens that they would need to be more careful when going out to patrol. So, each time the teens left to go on patrol they would make an excuse that would be believable, before changing in an alley a little way away from the tower.
The young superheroes made a schedule for patrols. On Mondays Danny would patrol early in the morning and Luke would patrol late at night. Tuesdays were Ava early in the morning and Peter at night. Wednesdays were Sam in the morning-which he endlessly complained about-and Danny at night. Thursdays Luke patrolled in the morning and Ava at night. Fridays were Peter in the morning and Sam at night. Saturdays Danny and Luke went out in the morning with Ava going out at night. Sundays Peter went in the morning and Sam went later that night.
The excuses ranged from going to a friend's house (Peter), Studying (Luke, Danny, and Ava), going buy videogames (Sam), and the most common one going to the store for an unnecessary item.
Ava, Danny, Luke, Peter, and Sam could all tell the Avengers were getting suspicious, the weird looks they were shoot when the Avengers thought they wouldn't notice. Hey, having five teens with enhanced senses actually came in handy when someone was looking at you. *
~The present~
"Right since you haven't been able to catch Ock yet we're going to need some Stark tech which means bringing in the Avengers. Stark designed most of the tech for this base, but it seems Stark has decided that we shouldn't have complete access to all his tech. Probably because he wants to be invited on missions.
~At Avengers Tower~
Each of the Avengers felt more than heard the voice that rang through the air.
"You win Stark we're going to need your tech on this mission," Nick Fury voiced through the intercom of Stark Towers which Tony didn't know how he actually got into them (Peter helped him, wouldn't be surprised if Fitz-Simmons did too.).
"Ha!" Tony yelled from his lab, "Anyway what is the mission?"
"Meet me Conference Room C at the temporary base and I'll tell you," Fury announced through the speakers.
An hour later saw the Avengers outside of a base in a top-secret location.
"The Ultimates need a little help finding Doctor Octopus. And we need your tech to do that apparently," Fury said exasperated with the billionaire's antics. Natasha and Clint just hopped Peter's secret wasn't uncovered by the Avengers who were now kind of protective of their new young. If the Avengers found out about the five teens that now live in their house being superheroes...well there is no telling how that would end. The rest of the Avengers would either try to kill Fury for letting teens go out into danger willingly or not, or the team would try to protect the young heroes even more.
"Whelp if the trainees need a bit of help, why don't we give it to them," Tony supplied at the same time Natasha said, "Director are you sure this is a good idea?"
"No, I'm not Agent Romanoff, but this is the only idea we have with the teams new living arrangements," Fury told Natasha cryptically. Clint seemed to understand what the Director was saying though and nodded along with Natasha. The rest of the Avengers were wondering what the Ultimates new living arrangements could possibly be, if having to bring the Avengers in was Fury's only option.
Tony started wondering once more about who the Ultimates were under their masks. The team was never seen with their masks covering more than they are supposed to. Spidey's and White Tiger's masks cover their whole face, while Nova's covers everything above his mouth. Iron Fists covers his eyes and forehead, while Power Man's only covers his eyes. Never once had the team of five been spotted with any of the masks off, besides Tiger and Spider-Man's masks up to their nose so they could eat something that an eager fan made for them to try. JJJ put people off of the team, but Spider-Man and his team were loved by quite a few people in New York the team just never realized it. The team went around not only dealing with the bigger bad guys, but also the smaller villains the ones who did vile things for their own amusement. More recently Tony had noticed that only one of the heroes would be seen on a certain day around the city.
Tony was able to descry a pattern. Monday mornings Iron Fist went out (around the same time Danny claimed he was either going get some unnecessary thing or going to study) then later in the day Power Man would patrol (once again the heroes timing seemed to align suspiciously with the disappearance of Luke Cage from the Tower.). Then on Tuesdays it seemed to be White Tiger's turn to make an appearance in the morning (again another teen missing from the Tower) then Peter would disappear marking the start of Spider-Man's patrol. On Wednesdays Sam would disappear early in the morning and Nova would be seen out on patrol and Danny would disappear again that night around the time Iron Fist showed up for his patrol. The pattern continued for a long time. Once a teen would disappear from the tower with some horrid excuse a hero of New York would be seen patrolling. Tony wasn't dumb and knew something was up, but the answer was just out of reach. His initial thought was that the teens in the tower each helped out a hero personally. Tony had aligned Ava to most likely helping White Tiger, Peter helping Spider-Man, Danny helping Iron Fist, Luke helping Power Man, and Sam helping Nova.
Tony could never find the answer because each time he tried having FRIDAY hack into to S.H.I.E.L.D she would be pushed out of the system by some advanced coding that Tony hadn't yet been able to crack. Sometimes the billionaire would get a layer or two down on the coding but the next time he tried to hack the coding would be as good as new and sometimes even better
Don't get mad at me about saying that all of the teens have enhanced senses, Sam and Ava have enhanced senses as a side effect of their objects (Ava's amulet and Sam's helmet) that is the source of their powers. Luke has enhanced senses because of the attempt at recreating the super soldier serum. Peter, we know has enhanced senses along with his Spidey sense, so he is obvious. Danny has enhanced senses because of his training in Kun-Lun. Just my reasoning though.
