Y/N POV

I ran outside threw down my penny board and headed to the place I called the "cut out" its a lakeish like thing with a stream running out of it,but its surronded by huge rock walls all the way around so you have to climb up and down to get in and out. When I got there I ran to the entrance I made and ran out over the rocky jeti to the small island in the middle.

Reds POV

I ran to my car and followed Y/N by car she was headed in a direction that Im not used to. She stopped at a huge rock wall made out of solid granite and she ran to the left jumping up to a hole and jumping through it. I jumped out of my car and ran over to where she had gotten in it took me several attempts to get up but when I did I looked through at a small lake and the water was crystal clear. I saw movement on a strectch of rock and I saw Y/N bounding over rocks big and small running to the small island. I began walking out to the island trying to find where she went its not a big island how hard can it be? I walked for another 3 min trying to find her. I heard a russleing in the trees above me I looked up and I saw her red beanie dissapear into the trees. I was about to shout when "You got a pretty good eye for someone that sits infront of a computer all day" Y/N said behind me. I jumped and whirled around she was standing there with a hand on her hips.

Y/N POV

I heard a branch snap near the entrance he followed me... why?  He must have seen me and followed with his car. I needed to hide I jumped from rock to rock then once on the island I climbed up the nearest tree. I was stalking him like a Tiger would its prey then I jumped to the next tree the wind blew knocking me off balance. I knew he had seen me I jumped down and snuck behind him "You got a pretty good eye for someone who sits infront of a computer all day." He jumped and whirled around "you know who I am?" he said "ha your hair gave it away" I said with a smirk on my face "So why did you follow me?" i asked "I saw your neckalce is that a 'Z'?" I threw back my head and laughed "its a Lighting bolt" I said pulling it out of my shirt. "oh" he said "how old are you" he asked "oh right Amanda ripped up my file im 14" he looked shocked "how can someone so young pack a punch like that?" he asked "Im from Maine you learn pretty damn quick that out in the wild its kill or be killed" I said dragging out the 'l' in killed. "why are you in the orphanage if your all the way from Maine?" he once agian asked a question "you ask a load of questions dont you?" "o well sit down its going to be a long story." I told him everything that happend by the end of my story I was leaning agenst a rock toying with Coreys dogtags. He got up and hugged me. I stood there stiff "uh Red im a bit asocial" I said breaking the hug "What cant I hug the kid im about to adopt?" he said. WUT

Reds POV

I felt so bad after hearing her story I got up and hugged her then told her that I was going to adopt her "What are you ok?" she looked pale and confused "n-nobody wants to adopt a kid like me" she said pulling her sleeves up reaveling all the scars "well I do" I liked her sprit and I wasent going to let other peoples opinions get in the way of adopting her. "Im not sure how to feel?" she said "its ok lets go back and get your things" I put my arm around her and she flinched but then relaxed a bit but she was still tence.

Y/N POV

He wants to adopt me? wut? He put his arm around me and we walked out to his car and drove back in complete silence to the orphanage. I got out and walked in Red not to far behind me. "look who decided to come back" Amanda said glaring at me "thank you Mr. (insert reds last name here) she wont bother you agian." I just went upstairs and began packing my things I grabbed the pictures of my family and my crew back home I sighed looking at them they all think im dead I grabbed my two suit cases and my backpack and walked down stairs and when I got to the door "running away agian I see" Amanda said I was about to counter when Red steped out and wraped a arm out me "No shes not as a matter of fact im adopting her now back off and cut the snotty rich girl accent" Red said protectivly I just looked up and smiled. Amanda looked taken aback "Whatever youll just return her after a few days anyway" I rolled my eyes and followed Red to the front desk where Mrs.Partrich sat a huge bruise on her temple from where I struck her "Mrs.Partich I need an adoption form please" Red asked she must have not seen me beacuse when Red finished filling out my name she just stared at him. With that we walked out and got into Reds car. I sat in the front seat next to Red and as soon as he got in I hugged him "thank you" I said "what happend to being asocial?" he asked with a smile I just punched him and curled up in the seat.
