Rachel's POV

I woke up to the sound of Matt bringing Tessa upstairs to her room. I knew he was trying to be quiet, but he isn't very good at that. "It's OK Matt. I'm awake" I mumbled, glancing towards the electric clock on the table next to me. It read 3:14 a.m in bright green letters, and I groaned tiredly at the time. I knew I wasn't going to be able to get to sleep again, so I took out my phone. One second later it let out a soft ping. One new notification..... From Colleen. "You up?" It read.

"Yeah. What's up?" I texted back, knowing that either Noah wouldn't go back to sleep, or colleen was staying up late playing with her new cat; Marshmallow. Almost immediately I got a text back. "Baby won't sleep. Leaving Joshua to fend for himself ."  Oh, Colleen. I texted her a quick lol, and the sassy emoji.
About 2 minutes later, Another ping was heard trom my phone as I was checking my twitter feed. "Might go see a movie, Do you wanna go with?"  I responded with a quick "sure" and went up to tell Matt I was heading out with Colleen. I creeped up the stairs, and looked into the doorway of our room. "Hey Matt?" No response. He looked like he was asleep, so I just took the keys and went to go get my shoes on, as well as a sweatshirt. I left a note on his forehead in case he woke up.

Time skip: 42 minutes later

I walked into the movie theater, and started looking for Colleen. I got a text a little bit ago saying she was already there. Colleen must've already saw me because she waved and started to walk over. "Hey Colleen!" I said, hugging her. "What do you wanna see? I'm down for whatever." She said, glancing around.

"You wanna see The 5th Wave?" I asked, hoping she'd say yeah. "Sure!" She responded, as we walked over to the ticket booth. Two tickets for the 4:30 showing of The 5th Wave." I requested. "I can pay for-" Colleen started, but I interrupted her. "No no, it's on me!" I told her. I payed for the tickets (which were expensive since we went to the IMAX theater) and we went over to the concession stand. I then heard a sound I am all-too familiar with: fan girls. "I know what you like, I can get it for us." I told her as she greeted the squealing girls happily. I purchased two large sodas, one large popcorn, and two candy bars. We then went into the theater, and found our seats. I love spending time with Colleen.
