Tessa's POV

"And they lived happily ever after..... The end." Carrie closed the book, and got up. "Good Story Carrie!" I exclaimed, with a lisp. I stared off into space, when Miss Darline Stomped up the stairs, screaming something like "I Can't wait to get this dumb Whore OUT of my orphanidge!!!!!" This was scary, Miss darline NEVER screamed like this.
I start to whimper, then she shouts "GET THE F**K OUT OF HERE!!!!!" I start bawling, and then I see Rachel run up the stairs, past Miss Darline, and in front of me. "Its OK" She says, trying to reassure me, but I can see she is more worried than I am.
I faint.

The last thing I remember is Carrie bringing me downstairs, and I can hear them fight. Carrie calls 911, and I can't stop crying. She gathers all the other children into the basement, and I can hear hear the police burst in upstairs, and I also hear Rachel cry out in pain.
I can't breath I am crying so hard, and Carrie gives me a paper bag to breath in.

~23 minutes later~

The police are escorting us out, and they send me with Rachel. From what I heard and saw, she only had some bruises and a black eye. I see them loading a struggling Miss Darline into the cop-car.

Carrie gives me one last hug as I head off towards Rachel. She hugs me tightly, and it feels like forever before she let's go. We head off toward her car, and she talks to a small box about what happened, and it is confusing. "Wha- What are (sniff) you d-doing?" I ask. "OH!" She exclaims. "You see, my job is where I make videos, and then I post them on this website called YouTube." Her voice is shakey, and her eyes are red. "Hey Tess? You know what? The people on YouTube say they really like you, how about that?"

"Tha- that's (yawn) OK......." Is the last thing I can manage to say, as I fall asleep to a song by an artist named "Adele".
