"Does this mean Matt is going to be my daddy?" Tessa asks. Matt shrugs. "If you want. You don't have to call me dad if you don't want to." He explains to her. She shakes her head. "But I do want to!" She grins. I smile. Her smile is so contagious. "Aww, Matt, she wants to call you dad!" I coo. "This is so adorable." I can't wait for the wedding so she can be the flower girl. I gasp. "When are we going to tell everyone?" Matt suggests in maybe a week or two. I nod. 

"But I'm terrible at keeping secrets!" Especially from Colleen. Matt sighs. "I forgot about that. Maybe we can tell them over dinner when we get back," he suggests. I nod. "Well, lets make the most out of our time here. Let's ski! We can take turns skiing and watching Tessa. 5 is still too young to learn to ski in my book." Matt nods. I go first. 

I clip my GoPro onto my ski and then I push off on the hill, narrating myself skiing. "And she's off, to a great start. She's picking up speed, OOH, and she just missed that tree, watch out Rachel, there are more coming, and she dodges every one of them! And she fell. Now she's on the ground. Ow." I trudge over to where my skis fell off, and grab them. I grab my ski poles, and hike back up the mountain. I'm sweatting by the time I get back, so I take off my coat and lay down in the snow. "Aah, this feels so good. Ok. Yep. I'm over it now." I see Matt start skiing as I put my jacket back on and walk over to where Tessa's making snow angels. "Wow, Tess, you're really good at that." I say. "Thank you! I'm making this one for you, mommy!" Aww, my heart!! I open the sliding door and grab my camera to take a photo for instagram. I step up on a storage box, and get the picture from above. It's of her giggling, making a snow angel. She is so adorable. I just can't even. 

Once we're all tired out we go back in the cabin. I start a fire in the fireplace, and grab blankets from underneath the coffee table. I'm one of the only people in my family who goes here, since Colleen hates the cold, and is always miserable, and nobody else has the time. "Lets watch a movie," I suggest. "Sure," Matt responds, and Tessa nods. "How about Moana? I got it on DVD."

"Yeah! Okay!" Tessa exclaims.
