"And though there's pain in my chest I still wish you the best, with a FORGET YOU!!" Me and Matt belt out as the song ends. We aren't even singing at this point, we started yelling the lyrics a long time ago. "Oh my god" I laugh, "did you see him at the Grammys?? He was covered in gold!" Matt laughs at how offended i am at Celo Greens Grammys outfit. I look in the rearview mirror to checkup on Tessa. "Aw, she's sleeping!" I coo. I look at all the scenery while driving on this terribly long and straight road. I take the last sip of my Diet Coke. Matt points out a road sign. "There's a gas station in another five miles. Turn onto this intersection here." 

Matt just took the case off of his phone and it's making me incredibly nervous. But what can I say? I'm attracted a man that is willing to live on the wild side. I scold him, and pull into the gas station. I hook up to a pump and have Matt wake Tessa up so she can go to the bathroom. After I pump and pay for the gas like a pro, I walk Tessa into the gas station bathroom. 

We both go, and then after washing our hands we go over to the drink section. I buy another Diet Coke, Matt gets Mountain Dew, and Tessa gets a Dasani Flavored water. I pay like a pro, #applepay with my phone! "Do you wanna watch nemo?" I ask Tess while stressfully putting her into her car seat. She nods. Nemo has been her favorite lately. I get into my seat, and start the car. I pull out of the gas station as Bluetooth starts indexing my phone, and Green Day starts playing. It stops, and my ringtone starts playing. It's Colleen. I press a button on the steering wheel to answer it. "Hey Colleen, what's up?" Hey!!! I'm great! I'm going out to eat at Panera with Eric, Fran and Angela right now! "Auntie Colleen!!" Tessa giggles. Hey sweetheart!  "So, palentines day? I'm actually on a road trip with Tess and Matt right now. We're going to our cabin." Sweet. "I'm so excited to ski!" I shouted. We say our goodbyes, and I hang up. Green Day resumes from where it stops. God, I love this car. 

We pull into the cabin driveway, and Matt gets Tessa out of the car while I unload the car. 

I pull out the key and unlock the door, quickly since I'm cold. Me and Tessa burst into the cabin and I rush to the control panel to switch the heat and electricity on. "Tess, can you switch on the light for me?" She nods happily. "You start skiing, I'll wait until the next time. I have to eat something!" Matt called from outside. 

I trudge through the snow, and sit down to put my skis on. 

Skiing was amazing. It was so fun, I'm dead. I brought my GoPro with me, so I got some great footage for a vlog. I kick my skis and boots off outside, plus any remaining snow on my snow pants, and walk inside, taking my purple and totally awesome snow pants off. Closing the sliding door, I stop in my tracks.. what is matt up to?

It's dark, candles lit, a fire going. "Matt? What is all this?" I call out. He walks out in a tux? Uh... "Matt? What are you wearing?" I laugh. He presses a button on a radio, and Never gonna Give you up by rick astley starts playing. "Rachel... we've known each other for so long." What is he doing? "Matt..." he takes my ice cold hands. I see Tessa peeking out of the door from a bedroom. "You're so nice, sweet, outgoing... you're one of the happiest people I know. You yell at anatimate objects, you try your hardest to make people smile.. when you're around the atmosphere is always happy. I love you so much..." what is going on.. Matt gets down on one knee. I gasp. Oh my god. He's- I- "Rachel Dawn Ballinger. Will you make me the happiest man alive... and marry me?" He pulls out a ring. "Oh my god!! Yes!! Yes I will!! I love you so much!!" I shout. I kiss him. This is so amazing. Nothing could ruin this for me. I love him. Tessa runs over and hugs me as I slip the ring on. I wipe a tear from my face. I love them so much. Nothing could ever change that.
