Tessa's POV

"What's Disneyland?" I ask, and then Rachel explains it to me. I guess its a big playground thing, based on what she told me. "Oh. Are there Princesses there?" I ask, hoping the answer is yes. I look over at Rachel. "Yeah! How'd ya know?" She asks, looking confused. Carrie used to read the Disney tales about them to me. She also taught me the stuff she was learning in middle school, so I'm almost as smart as she is. "Carrie used to read me Disney princess stories, i even learned how to read them myself" I answer. Rachel looks confused. Matt looks very impressed. At the same time, they both exclaim, "you can read??" "yep." Why are they looking at me so weird? Am i not supposed to know how to read? The room is silent for many seconds... did i do something wrong? I tell them about learning with Carrie, and then Rachel pulls out her 'vloggy' and starts recording. "Guys, Tessa can read!" she says, turning the camera towards me. I nod quietly, and look down. "Tess, that's amazing! I barely even know how to read!" She exclaims. "I was gonna teach her soon anyway." Matt mumbles under his breath. She puts her camera away, then tells me to get my shoes on. I do, then we skip out towards the car. Rachel helps me into the car seat, and we talk about stuff on our way to Disney. She tells me about her family, and how her sister has a famous character named Miranda Sings, who has her own TV show and stuff.

Time skip 45 minutes~

We get out of the car, then walk over to a large place with a lot of people waiting. Rachel walks over to a man at a counter and hands him a card, then he gives us all bracelets. We were stopped a lot of times by her fans, and they really liked me. They took 'selfies' with us, and got really excited. "Rachel?" I ask. "Yeah?" She responds, looking at me. "Could I hold your hand?" I ask. She says I don't have to ask, and I grab onto her hand with mine. "Wow... I guess Colleen must be performing here today. Look at all the mirfandas!" Matt points out. She agrees, and says we should stop by if we see her. Suddenly I see a teacup looking ride, and ask if we can ride it. Its really hot out, and I'm glad I chose to wear the sundress that Rachel says her sister Colleen picked out for me. She seems nice. "Sure! Race you there!" Shouts Rachel, running over to the line. I quickly run after her. "Matt, you're slow!" I tell him. He chose to walk i think. "Since we have fast passes, we don't have to wait in line for as long as other people." Explains Matt. I like that better than waiting in line for an hour. This line looks super long... We walk into the line when a man wearing a pink tank top and khakis walks over and greets us. "Hey girl, hey!" He says, weirdly. "Hey Kory!" Rachel exclaims, hugging him. Kory looks over towards me. "And who is this little prin-cess?" He asks, smiling, and I'm not sure if he said it to me or Rachel. "My name is Tessa...." I mumble, quietly.
"Sorry, what did you say your name was?" He asks. I itch at a mosquito bite, and open my mouth to answer, when Rachel answers for me. "Her name is Tessa. She's the little girl I adopted." She explains. He's suddenly hit with an 'I should've known that' look. "Oooooooohh, Right! Well nice to meet you Tessa! My name is Kory Desoto, I'm Rachel's friend." He tells me. I look over towards the ride. Maybe we should go now. I don't want to miss it. "Well, what brings you here, Kory?" Asks Matt. He smiles, then responds. "Well, you know. To see the magical prin-cesses of course!" I really like him, he's silly and nice. "Classic Kory!" Laughs Matt. "Look, guys! They're letting people onto the ride now!" I point out. We hurry over and they let us on. Me, Rachel and Matt sit in an orange teacup. Kory takes the pink one. "Alright, keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times. Please fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride!" Says the too-cheerful voice over the speaker. "Thank you!" Yells Kory towards the speaker, making me giggle. The ride starts to spin very slowly, gradually getting faster. The cups spin around in a circle. It only lasts for about 45 seconds before we start to slow down. The speaker starts up again. Please stay seated until the ride has come to a complete stop, and enjoy the rest of your stay at Disneyland!
