I walked along the streets in the pouring rain. I had my blue jacket on... Probably the only thing that would ever protect me... Probably the only thing I ever felt that protected me... Probably the only thing that I knew belonged with me. My jacket meant a lot to me, even though it was just a jacket to some.

My jacket was light blue... Erm... Sky blue? Some kind of a shade of blue. It reminded me of rushing water in a stream in a forest. It also had a purple zipper which just complimented the jacket for me. Purple is my favorite color, if you were wondering.

I also wore a Lapis Lazuli necklace that I cherished with my life. I loved the necklace so much. It held so much meaning from my life within it... I couldn't lose it.

I was also wearing black pants that had silver stars on them... They were beat up, along with all of my clothes, but that's how it usually is.

I was also wearing purple and blue mismatched socks which are cool... I guess... It's all I have now. So, they were cool to me. Then there is my brown moccasins that I always wear... They weren't the most comfortable, but they worked.

My feet hit the ground softly. I made no noise while I was walking. The streets were empty, and it was around midnight-ish. Honestly, I didn't care about the time. All I cared about was getting away... From them.

The humans that I had... Erm, 'parents' to you, they are horrible, horrible people. When I was home, my humans came out unexpectedly. I meant to be out alone in the living room... That's how it always was.

They hated me. They hated who I was. They didn't know what I was, and I prefer to keep it that way... That's besides the point. ...The female who I used to call, "Mom" was nothing more than a human to me. She wasn't my mother. She didn't act one. I didn't have parents, and if you think I would consider them parents then you really should go and recollect your information on me. Dig a little deeper next time, find more facts.

She yelled at me for no reason. She yelled at me for everything I did wrong, everything I did right, oh did I mention everything? My faults, my quirks, everything she could pick at in me, she would.

"WHERE'S MY MONEY!? Y'KNOW, YOU SHOULD PAY ME FOR EVERYTHING I DO FOR YOU!" She yelled at me like she usually did.

"Pfft..." I laughed quietly under my breath. She did nothing for me. I did everything myself. I worked from the bottom up. I was an independent person, and she was nothing more than a depending human.

"What's so FUNNY!?" She yelled, stomping closer to me. I stood my ground... I had learned not to fear these monsters. This time... Instead of just taking it... I need to fight back.

"Huh? Answer me you idiot!" She stomped closer like a titan from Attack on Titan. But unlike some, I would be surviving this titan. For I was Mikasa! Okay, well, that wasn't my name, but I was still Mikasa. (As you can tell, I'm an Otaku... Heh.)

I observed every un-elegant move of the human. She wobbled and couldn't get a baring of the ground... For she was intoxicated with alcohol.... She did this on purpose. Even when she wasn't drunk, she would continue to start and pick fights with me. She knew I would take it. She knew I wouldn't say anything... She knew I wouldn't do anything.

This time, that would change.
I would be taking a HUGE risk but I was through with everything. I didn't have nothing to lose... I had no friends, no parents, no pets, they were all gone because of the humans. I didn't need anyone, I could survive on my own...

I dreamed of running free in the forest... Just me... Or maybe I could find some other wolves to run along side me... Or maybe I would be the lone wolf of them all...

I spoke silence. That, my friend, was my greatest power. Speaking nothing but the time's weakness was a great power to possess... And, it usually worked everytime.

She inched closer and closer.
My plan would come into action any second... When she reached me, that's when it would happen.

"Aww, look. You're not running away this time. GOOD. I like a challenge. COME HERE YOU BRAT! YOU RUINED MY LIFE! I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WON'T DIE!?" She leaped at me.

My plan went into action.

I leaped right out of the way seconds before she reached me. A bolt of adrenaline sparked into my veins...

I stayed put to the corner that I had retreated to and watched as she got up. I spoke nothing but silence, and that my friend, was my greatest power.

I could see blood-thirst in her eyes. I could see the anger from her aura... Her aura was invisible, which was bad. It meant she was evil. Everyone had an aura... Even certain humans.

She wiped her mouth and looked at me with anger. I stood there, right in the open.

'I'm not afraid... Anymore, I'm not afraid~' I Wouldn't Mind by He Is We filled my thoughts.

She shoved herself with her fist directly at my face and she hit my nose.... Hard. My nose started bleeding rapidly, and I could feel the immense burning pain of the punch. I winced at the pain, but still stood strong. I wasn't running away anymore. I was standing with everything I had... Which to most, was nothing. Nothing at all.

I could feel the anger in her eyes... Her bloodshot green eyes... They met my icy blue eyes...

She took another swing at me, but I had jumped out of the way and onto another corner.

She looked at her hand and laughed. She had my blood all over her fist that she had punched my nose with.
"Hahahahhah! That's what I like to see!" She sadistically smiled at my pain.
