Maddie's POV

I heard the doorbell ring and I ran down the stairs, through the living room, and I ran into the door. I stood up and opened it to see Carter standing there, looking like he was holding in laughter.

"Did you run into the door?" He asked trying not to giggle.

"Yes" I simply said.

"Are you okay?"

"Are you going to come in?"

"I'll take that as a yes"

He came in and when he saw Gee's hair his jaw dropped. Gee smiled and put his hands on his hips.

"Do you like it?" Gee asked.

"How did you pull your hair out so bright?" Carter asked.

"Tons of bleach" Gee said.

We walked up to my room after saying "hi" to Frankie. We got into my room and I put in The Nightmare before Christmas and he brought snacks, because we were to lazy to go downstairs.

Carter's POV

After the movie I looked over at Maddie, who was asleep on my shoulder, she looked so cute. I pressed a kiss to the top of her head. I layed my head on top of hers and fell asleep.

Maddie's POV

I woke up with something on my head and I mentally freaked out. Then I felt the pressure on my head lift and an arm hug me into, what I observed, Carter's side. I looked up at him, his head was on the side of my bed. His eyebrows were furrowed and he had a distressed expression on his face.

Carter's POV

I was with my parents, before they left me, and we were happy.

...dream skip...

Mom was crying, Dad was angry, the man with a gun was calm. Then, BANG... BANG... I was hiding behind the couch because mom told me to stay.

"Carter?"

The man left and I went out and saw my parents dead bodies.

"Carter!"

I was at the adoption center, and bullies were there.

"WAKE UP!!!"

Everything went black and warmness surrounded me.

I woke up to Maddie shaking me, she looked like she was on the verge of tears. I sat up and bear hugged her.

"Oh my gods your okay. You scared me, jackass" she said.

"Sorry, I had a nightmare"

"It's ok, I'm here when you need me," she said rubbing my back.

After breakfast Maddie and I stayed in her room. I told her about my dream and my past.

"I so sorry Carter, I wish you didn't have to go through that," she said with tears escaping her eyes.

I smiled and used my thumb to wipe the tears away.

"It's okay, I just think about the good times" I said.

I kissed her forehead, then her nose, then her lips. It wasn't a long kiss, just a quick peck.

We both blushed a dark red.

Hi, I finally updated after forever. Sorry it took so long, I had no Wi-Fi for a week. Which was the week I was free to update.
