Maddie's POV

It had been a month since my last breakdown and I've gotten a lot better. Ace helped me and talked to me and I told them about what had happened.

A week ago, someone broke into the house and stole my guitar, the television, most of the stuff in the living room and the kitchen. I was at Ace's house with my bass guitar practicing with a band Carter had formed at school, so I didn't know until I got home the next day.

I called dad and told him, he asked me if I had left the door unlocked.
"No"

"Okay, were you in the house?" He asked sounding worried.

"No"

"Were all the bedrooms locked?"

"Yes. The only stuff he took was the stuff from the kitchen and the living room"

"Okay, was anything important taken?"

"I think the most important thing that was taken was the food"

"Are you being serious or are you just hungry?"

"Both" I could imagine his sassy eye roll.

"Was any of your stuff taken?"

"Only my guitar, it was in the living room"

"Okay, call the police-"

I cut him off, "I already did"

"Okay good, I'll tell Frank and you need to stay at Ace's until....." he paused for a second. "Until you see two tall guys with fringes"

My mouth dropped open. "Do you mean?"

"Maybe" he said quickly and hung up.

Then the police arrived and I told them about it and- I'm rambling....

Dan and Phil have been looking after me. I feel like I almost passed out when I saw them. It's weird hearing them play video games at three in the morning, but I'm not complaining.

Also today is Band Fest at school and our band, The Sketch Artists, are in it. Ace came up with the name. It's pretty cool, considering that everyone in the band is really good at drawing.

Band Fest is where the schools bands play their songs or cover songs. We have four bands in our school.

Liam is Carter's boyfriend and Laythe is Liam's best Friend.

We were getting ready to walk out on stage when the priciple called out band's name.

We walked out and started to play. I am more energetic when playing bass than Guitar. I don't know why, but I am.

I had on a dress that was kinda sheer, but it had a sewn in leotard and some platform boots.

I got lost in the music, as I always do and started dancing. I jumped, spun, stomped and one time tripped and fell...... I had fun though.

When I got home that night I didn't even take time to change or even take off my shoes, I instantly fell asleep once in laid on my bed.
