Lexi's POV

It's still dark when my fantastic alarm puppy runs in and barks at me. "Ugh, come on Lizzie! 5 more minutes!" I plead, scratching her head. "Good morning god girl. Come on, meet me in the kitchen!"

I throw on a white t-shirt with a mustache on it and some jeans. Then a teeny weeny bit of make-up, some brushing of thy hair, and I go to the kitchen. "Morning, Squid. Are you a hungry puppy Lizzie?" I say, reaching for a can of dog food. Once the dogs' breakfast is in their bowl, I grab a yogurt for myself.

"Guess what?" Squid said, breaking the silence. I look up, notifying him that I'm listening. "Stampy adopted a girl your age yesterday. She's going to your school, too." He said excitedly. "Wow! Tell him I said congrats. When is this girl joining?" I ask. "Today." He replies. I nod. I hope this girl is nice. "I'll have to meet her sometime."

*Time Skip

I head off to school on my bike. It's about a 15 minute bike ride, so it's not bad at all. I wonder what that girl looks like. Or what her name is. If I see her, maybe I won't, should I ask her if Stampy adopted her? No, no I shouldn't.

And suddenly, I crash into someone who's walking to school. We both go tumbling down. I immediately get up, looking at my bleeding knee, and help this girl get up. "I am so sorry!" We both say at the same time. "No, really, it was all my-" I look at her. "- Lilly?" I ask, a look of shock must have showed up on my face. She squints. "OMG! LEXI!" She screams. "Shh!" I giggle. "Are you the girl Stampy adopted?!" I ask, regaining the small amount of sanity I had.

"How did you know?" She says tilting her head. "Stamps told Squid, Squid told me, words were said." I answer. She lifts one eyebrow. "Not bad things!" I laugh.

"Okay. Oh my gosh is your knee okay?!" She yells, glancing at my knee. To be honest, it really stings. "Can't feel a thing. Now come on!"

"But, are you-" "I'm sure!" I interrupt, hopping on my bike. "Race ya!" "That's not cool! You have a bike!

*Time Skip*

"Okay, so we have every class together except period 5." I say to Lilly after examining her schedule. "Now there is one final thing I must show you! Sorry, two!" I continue. "Yeah?" She asks. I drag her over to Katelyn first. I tap her on the shoulder. "Katelyn, this is my friend from the orphanage, Lilly. Lilly, this is my friend from school, Katelyn." I say. "Ooh! Has she met Lu-" "SHH!" I yell. She giggles. "Who?" Lilly asks, puzzled. "You two can talk later! I gotta show you something." I tell her, dragging her over to Luke.

"Lilly, this is my boyfriend, Luke." Lilly's eyes go super wide. "Luke, this is Lilly, my friend from he orphanage!" I say. Luke holds out his hand. Lilly shakes it. "Nice to meet you!" He says, just before the bell rings. "Go Lilly! I'll meet you there!" I shout as she starts walking away. "K!" She replies.

Luke kisses my forehead. "Promise you won't dump me for her?" I joke. "Never." he replies. We run to class.
