Jemma's POV

I stood there in shock as the truck drove out of sight. Our daughter was with the driver. I turned to Dan. He picked up a rock and threw it, breaking the window to the living room. Then he looked at me and I noticed tears in his eyes. That surprised me. I never seen him cry. "How can someone do this?" He asked between cries. "I don't know." I said. Dan kept sobbing. I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a hug. "Don't worry." I said. "We'll get her back."

Summer's POV

I woke up in a strange place. I couldn't move due to ropes on my arms and legs. I waved my arm as much as I could. I noticed that the knot was coming looser. I ripped my arm free. The door opened and a guy came inside, carrying a knife.I suddenly had and idea. With my free arm, I untied the rope to one of my legs and kicked him. He screamed and dropped the knife. I grabbed it and cut the ropes. He was starting to stand up. I noticed a shower rod and picked it up. The door open and I saw Dan and Jemma. Dan started to run to me but the guy pulled out a gun. Dan backed up. I ran after him and hit him over the head. The guy fell and his eyes closed. I quickly panicked. I knelt down and felt for a heartbeat. I started sobbing. No matter how hard I pressed on him, I received nothing back. I stood up and started bawling. I just killed someone.
