This chapter is the backstory about Emilia and why she was put in the orphanage, who are her best friends and how she has been feeling in what she considers to be her house.

Hi, my name is Emilia but my friends call me Emi. I'm 6 years old and I live in an orphanage. When I was two my father put me here because my mom got into a really bad car accident and sadly died. My dad couldn't raise me by himself so he just put me in what is now my home.

You may be thinking why I consider this place home well as you know I was 2 when I was put in here so is been 4 years and still, no one has adopted me yet. At first, I would go to bed crying when someone came here and didn't adopt me but I have learned to accept that no one is ever going to adopt me and I'm going to be here forever even though I still really really really want to have a family that would love me no matter what.

It may sound bad but thanks to my BFFs Martin and Lola being here is not so bad. They're the best friends that anybody could ask for and I'm going to be sad when they get adopted because were not going to see each other anymore but I'm also going to be SUPER HAPPY when they finally get to have a real family as I have always dreamed of having.

Miss Nancy is also one of my best friends she helps me and my friends a lot and she cares for and about us like were her children. She always tells us how much she going to miss us when we get adopted but at least she not going to be sad about me leaving because never going to be adopted (OR AT LEAST THAT WHAT SHE THINKS 😉).
