The New Addition (In Editing)

Rosabella's POV

I took Shep out of the house to go on a run. We had stopped at a park to rest. I sat on a park bench while Shep laid on top of my feet. As I looked around the park, I saw someone I never thought I would see again. Jacob.

"Hey Shep. See that guy over there? Go bring him over here." Shep walked over and I pretended to look busy on my phone. Secretly, I did have small feelings for Jacob. But he would never feel the same way. Right?

Jacob's POV

I was sitting on a park bench when a German Shepard came up to me and placed his head on my lap. "Hey big guy. Where's your owner?" I looked around and saw a girl on another bench. I turned back to the dog and he took a mouthful of my sweatshirt sleeve. He dragged me over to the girl on the bench, and when he let go, he licked her face. "Shep. Stop. That's gross!" She looked up at me and smiled. "Mind if I sit?" She scooted over on the bench, making room for me.

"I'm Jacob." "Oh we've met before. Do you not recognize your best friend?" "I don't underst-" "Ugh. You boys are all the same! You seriously don't recognize me? I shouldn't look too different. It's only been a year." "Ro-Rosie!?" She smiled and nodded. "You look so different! I mean. It's a good different.. You look great is what I'm trying to say." "Thanks. You too." So did you wanna maybe meet up for coffee sometime? We could catch up? I mean. If you want to. You will be seeing allot more of me." "That would be great. I'll let you know when I'm free." She said. "I have to get home. Since I'm back in town my family wants to spend as much time with me as they can before I decide to take off again." She waves goodbye, then she and the dog take off running. She is beautiful. How can I make her mine?

Rosabella's POV

When I got back to the house, only Will was there. "Hey Will. Where are the others?" "Uh Rosie... The baby came a little early so now they are at the hospital with Kyle and Janna. I'm supposed to take you there. Let's go. And please leave the dog here." I followed Will out to the car and we drove to the hospital.

When we got to the hospital, Will told me the room number, and left. When I got to the room, I knocked on the door to be greeted by Kyle. He led me over to Janna, and she was holding a baby boy. Technically my new brother, but I don't like to get technical.

Janna frowned when she saw me. I don't understand though. I have been nothing but nice to her since I met her. "Janna. You have some more visitors." Kyle said to Janna.

(A.N. I want to say right here that I am sorry if I say Hanna instead of Janna. The J key is right next to the H key. I don't go over what I typed until I get sick of reading it like that, or I finish a book. I haven't finished a book yet so I naturally get sick of it. So I'm sorry if I say Hanna instead of Janna. And she will eventually get used to Rosabella. She has her reasons for not liking her at first. And I will be skipping time allot while the baby is little. When he gets into school, then I won't do as many. Thank you for understanding.)

"This is your new baby brother Rosie." "He is so cute." I whispered. "Did you guys decide on a name yet?" "Tyler. His name is Tyler." Janna said snobbishly. "Can I hold him?" "Do you have experience with children?" Janna asked. "Actually-" "Sorry. But not right now. Kyle. Can you take him please. I really need to rest." She said handing Tyler to Kyle. "Here Rosie. You can hold him." "It's fine. I can hold him later." "Ok. Would you mind watching him while Janna sleeps. I have to go sign some stuff." "Um. Sure. I guess that would be fine." Kyle puts Tyler in a baby bed that was next to the hospital bed, then leaves. Janna was already asleep.

Five minutes later, Tyler started crying. I didn't want to wake up Janna so I walked over to him, picked him up, brought him to a chair, and tried rocking him. When that didn't work, I tried whisper singing a song.

Hey, don't write yourself off yet

It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on.

Just try your best, try everything you can.

And don't you worry what they tell themselves when you're away.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.

Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).

Hey, you know they're all the same.

You know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in.

Live right now.

Yeah, just be yourself.

It doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.

Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.

Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).

Hey, don't write yourself off yet.

It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on.

Just do your best, do everything you can.

And don't you worry what the bitter hearts are gonna say.

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.

Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).

It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.

Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).

He started calming down a little so I tried again.

There's a fork in the road in front of me,

At the crossroads of identity.

The Devil is standing to the left.

He says "Either way, they both lead to death."

And the high road's steady and steep,

And the low road's easy and deep.

Guess I'll follow, follow, follow my feet.

Guess I'll follow, follow, follow my feet.

I've a friend who lies and steals and cheats.

Always taking more than he can eat.

He says "To get what I want, I would probably kill.

If I don't take it, somebody else will. "

And the high road's steady and steep,

And the low road's easy and deep.

Guess I'll follow, follow, follow my feet.

Guess I'll follow, follow, follow my feet.

There is no time,

Falling behind,

Plant harmony,

Or burn the tree.

I have a friend who loves humanity,

Braves bullets in war-torn countries.

He traded a life of wealth to help the poor and ill.

He says "If I don't do it, nobody will."

And the high road's steady and steep,

And the low road's easy and deep.

Guess I'll follow, follow, follow my feet.

Guess I'll follow, follow, follow my feet.

I don't know where,

I don't know where,

Where my path will lead, but I'll follow my feet and

Hopefully they'll keep me on the ground and I'll keep walking to the sound

Follow, follow, follow my feet.

Follow, follow, follow your feet.

Tyler had finally stopped crying. "What are you doing holding him?" I looked up to see a very stressed/mad looking Janna. "Well he was crying and you were asleep. I thought you could use the rest so I got him to stop crying." I said honestly.

(Play "You're Beautiful By James Blunt. Song On Side)

"Bring him here and you are never to touch him again." You can't tell me what to do!" I said handing him over. "Technically I can. I am older than you and your new mother." "This is one of the reasons I ran away in the first place. Adults trying to be smart asses or even lying. I'm fucked up can't you see. If you think that... Then just tell me and I will get out of your hair. You, Kyle, Tyler, and the boys can all live a happy life together. I can live on the streets. I have before. The truth is Janna, you don't know me. You don't know the shit I had to go through. Not just this past year, but my whole life is pretty much a horror story."

Janna was silent. But I didn't end it there.

"Just imagine a baby. In a nice family, then all of a sudden, Boom! Instant Hell. When I turned four, I was abused. The only person I could turn to was my brother. But when I turned six, that all changed. One day my mother was abusing me like normal. My father came home. With a gun. He shot my mother right in front of me. My brother ran out without me and my father tried to shoot me but the neighbors must have heard a gun shot and called the police. He was about two seconds away from pulling the trigger. He recently died in jail."

Janna didn't speak.

"I was then put into a Care Home with a mean ass old care taker. She even abused me. No one liked me. That is until I met Kyle. He was nothing but nice to me and showed me what real love was. His only mistake was lying to me. About you. He told me that he had stuff to do with Dan. When he was really meeting up with you. So this past year I have created this hard shell around myself. You can do what you want. Just don't tell me what to do. I am not a flipping door mat that you can walk all over. So yeah I'm a screw up, but I have feelings, and a heart."

Janna was looking down at Tyler not saying anything.

"Did you know that I almost starved to death at that nasty ass "Care" Home? No. Because you didn't want to get to know me, or show me any kindness. And I know its not just your pregnant lady hormones. Its something deeper than that. And my dog. He is the only one that truly cares about me. He is a perfect companion. A guard dog. He even bit someone because the person was beating me. That is true love. I have never hurt a living soul in my life and you don't think I'm capable of holding a baby. He better have things go his way when he is older. Make sure he has it better than I did. Its too late to fix me, but not too late to talk to me. I am never going to talk to you again."

I looked over to the door to find the boys staring at me. I walked t'words them, pushed passed them, and stormed out of the hospital.
