Rosabella's P.O.V.

One day after Kyle and I had the school conversation, I decided to text Jacob because I haven't talked to him for a really long time.

SO I'M STARTING SCHOOL TOMORROW...

*COOL. WHAT SCHOOL?*

UHH, I THINK IT'S ROSE-LAND HIGH SCHOOL

I put my phone down and pick up my song book. I work on the vocals for the new song I was writing. I walk into the recording studio and see Kyle with the boys.

"Hey Fizzy. What's up?" Woody said

"Nothing much. I just wanted to use the studio but if you guys are using it..."

"No no. Please. We were just hanging out." Dan said.

Dan walks out of the booth and I walk in.

I put on the headphones and start.

It's a little bit funny this feeling inside

I'm not one of those who can easily hide

I walk out and get crushed in a hug from everyone.

"This girl is perfect. Are you sure she isn't related to you Kyle?" Will asked.

"I'm sure. That was amazing Rosie. But you should head to bed. It's getting late and you have to go to school tomorrow."

I nod and say, "Goodnight boys."

I walk out and fall asleep as soon as my head hit my pillow.

I wake up refreshed and get in the shower. It was only 6:00 and school doesn't start til 7:30 but I normally get up really early to have breakfast.

After my shower, I combed my rainbow hair. Oops. Did I forget to mention that the boys died my hair as a prank? Well, yea. Kyle was the mastermind behind this one. I didn't get them back because I thought it looked really cool. My hair goes down to my hips when it's dry and I always wear a hat over it.

I get dressed in my Pokemon t-shirt and black leggings. I also put on my Pikachu sweatshirt and "Gotta Catch Them All" Snapback. I put on my gold and black boot tennis shoes and move onto makeup. I put on eyeliner and mascara, grab my phone, and walk down the stairs.

In the kitchen, I send a quick picture of my hair to Jacob and start making breakfast.

I made waffles and put them on the counter. I figured the boys would still be here so I made extra. I eat my fill (Only one) and decide to wake up the boys.

I walk into Kyle's room and find them all there. I shake them all awake and they groggily get up and walk downstairs.

When they see that I have breakfast made, they all perk up and give me hugs.

I left the boys to eat so I can get my things together for school.

I grab my backpack and watch TV until Kyle tells me it's time to go.

Will was going to drive me to school today. I get in the car with Will and we start driving to school.

"Hey Will... Uhh. I forgot to ask but, what's my last name?"

"It's Simmons. Rosabella Simmons. I think it sounds really nice."

I laugh as Will turns the radio on.

We finish the song as Will pulls into the parking lot.

"Do you want my to take you to the office?"

"No. I think I'm good. Bye."

"Bye. Kyle wished that he could be here but he had allot of stuff to do."

I close the door and head through the doors.

I get a couple of stares and I just keep looking forward.

I finally make my way to the office and head to the desk.

"Uh, hi. My name is Rosabella and I'm new here." I said to the lady at the desk.

"Oh. Hello dear. My name is Karen. I will be right back with your schedule."

She disappears into the back but reappears a couple seconds later.

"Ok dear. Here is you schedule and map. Here is also a pass since you might be a little late to your classes. Have a nice first day!" She says as she hands me all the papers.

I thank her and head out.

On my way out, I bump into someone.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." I say.

"Hey. It's fine. I wasn't looking either." A buff teen says.

I walk out of the way but he holds my arm.

"I haven't seen you around. Are you new?"

"Uh, yea."

"That's cool. My name is Tavian. By the way."

"I'm Rosabella."

"I guess I'll see you around then."

I walk away without saying another word. When hes out of sight, I rush to find my locker.

When I find it, someone puts their hands on my shoulders. I jump and almost slap who it is.

"Whoa, whoa, calm down. It's just me." Jacob said.

"Oh, hi! I'm sorry."

"It's fine. So what are your classes?"

I hand him my schedule and he frowns.

"We only have last period together."

He hands me my schedule back and says, "But that's ok. We can still have lunch together if you want."

I nod and say, "I'd like that. I have to find my class now but I'll see you at lunch."

I wave goodbye and try to find my class.

When I finally find it, I notice that the boy I met earlier was there. He waves and motions me over.

I walk over and take a seat.

The teacher notices me and says, "It seems we have a new student today. Can you please introduce yourself to the class?"

I nod and stand up.

"Hi, my name is Rosabella and I'm new."

"Ok. Thank you. But please no hats in school."

My hair was all tucked into my hat so you couldn't see it. I take it off and all my rainbow hair flops down. Everyone gasps and starts whispering.

I sit back down and put my hat in my bag.

"Nice hair." Tavian whispers.

I really had no interest in him so I just nodded.

The lesson goes on and on til the bell rings. I pack up my stuff and head out the door before Tavian catches up to me.

But with my luck, I run into someone on the way out. It was a girl this time and she was really pretty.

"I'm sorry." She says.

"No. I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going."

"Hey. It's ok. I'm Jordyn. You must be new."

"Yea. Is it that obvious."

"Haha. I guess I would have remembered someone with rainbow hair."

"I'm Rosabella by the way." I stretch out my hand for her to shake and she does.

"Hey, what are your classes?"

I give her my schedule and she smiles.

"We have all the same classes."

"Funny. I didn't see you in first hour."

"Oh. Well I was kinda late because my dad's car broke down."

"That sucks."

She nods.

"So do you wanna eat lunch together?" She asked me as we headed to our next class.

"I'm sorry. I was already invited to sit by someone."

"Oh. That's ok. Do you think that I could sit by you? I really have no one to sit by."

"I guess that would be ok. I'm sure Jacob wouldn't mind."

"Wait. Did you say Jacob? As in Jacob Chanler?"

"Uhh. I guess. I don't really know his last name."

"Jacob Chanler is so hot and so popular!"

I was shocked. Jacob didn't act any different. But I guess he was just being friendly.
