Jordan's POV
After I got to the hospital, they sent me to the waiting room. I started pacing back and forth. After awhile, I stopped. I sat down and buried my face in my hands. I must have looked like I was having a nervous breakdown to some of the other people in the room. I didn't care. My daughter was in another room, getting checked out. She had been unconscious when I called 911. I realized that people were probably staring at me. I sat up and noticed that people were, in fact, staring at me. One woman was with a girl. "Look mommy. It's the youtube guy." She said. Then a girl stood up and came up to me. "Will you sign my cast?" She asked. I noticed that she had a cast on her left arm. "Kate. Come back here." Her mom said. "Sure. I'll sign it." I said. I looked at the woman. "I really want to." I said. The woman agreed to let me sign it. Soon the nurse came over to me. "Excuse me. Are you Lexi's father?" She asked. "Yeah. That's me." I said. "She's asleep right now due to the medicine in her system but her breathing is fine and her fever is going down. You did the right thing to call 911." She said. I breathed a huge sigh of relief. "We'll keep her here overnight but so far everything's going to be okay." She said. I nodded. I decided to head home and see her in the morning.
As I was grabbing my stuff, I heard a scream. It was Lexi screaming. I rushed into her room. "Lexi. What's wrong?" I asked. Just then I noticed the man. "Who are you?" I asked. He went over to me and stabbed me in the leg. "Keep your hands off of my daughter." I said. He grabbed a syringe from his pocket and came toward me. I felt a pain in my neck and then everything was gone.
