SAM POV 

I caught Diana as soon as she fell, She was probably dehydrated. 

"Dad, is she okay?" 

"She's probably just dehydrated don't worry." I took her out carrying her in my arms and got her in my office and on fluids. I decided to stay with her as she would be confused when she woke up. 

She woke up a few minutes later. 

"Dad?" She said weakly. 

"I'm right here love." 

"What happened?" 

"You were dehydrated dia, and fainted." 

"Oh, can you remove this IV?" 

"I will once the bag finishes." 

"How's nick?" 

"He's sleeping." 

"How are you feeling?" She asked. 

"Me? What would happen to me?" I quickly said. 

"Dad don't play with me I know you're not okay." 

"I will be okay? Don't worry about me." 

Then, I got a call. It was an unknown number. I answered. 

"Hey, is this Samuel Radford?" 

"Speaking, How can I help you?" 

"I'm the principal of Mount pleasant high school." 

"Alright." 

"I wanted to ask if Nicholas is doing okay?" 

"He's torn his ACL, and has a lot of other bruises and I've got your other student Diana Radford his sister on fluids because she was dehydrated, and I know you just wanted to know if I'm going to  press charges or not and I am both the school and those students, cause how did the teachers not see any of this." 

I'm sorry Mr. Radford, it was our fault but please?"

"I'll meet with you in person this can't be discussed over call."

"I'll schedule an appointment with you." 

While I was talking, Diana fell asleep again. 

Suddenly, I got a page from Andrew. It was Nick, I quickly ran there. He was trying to get him to breathe and when he couldn't he placed an oxygen mask on him, when he calmed down, he gave him some Ativan. 

"What the fuck happened Andrew?". I was stressed. 

"He had a nightmare, which caused  a panic attack when I asked he said that there were gunshots, Diana was there and the people who hit him were there and they were hitting her and then someone shot her."I ran my hands through my hair. 

"Has this happened before?" He asked. 

"Well, when they were 8, Diana got shot trying to save Nick and like she could've died, and they both got nightmares after it, I got them both in therapy, they improved and eventually the therapist said they didn't need  sessions anymore, and they both were fine, like the same way they were before, and today happened maybe it just triggered memories from him." 

"He'll need counseling again." 

" I know." 

"He'll be okay Dr.Radford  Don't worry." 

"Yeah, thank you." 

I went to my office to check on Diana, she was sleeping peacefully. I removed her IV, it was finished.  I picked her up and laid her down on my bed in the on-call room, and she slept through it. I went and sat with Nick. It was like he was sleeping peacefully. He had a big cast on his leg and it was elevated a bit with pillows. 

"I love you Nick, please get better soon." I heard him groan in pain. 

"It hurts." 

"It's me dad, What hurts Nick?"

"Knee, really bad." 

"1 to 10, 10 being the worst." 

"A 9.5 for sure." 

"I'm going to up your pain meds a little okay? They're gonna take effect soon." 

"Is Diana okay now?" He asked after a while passed. 

"She's fine, asleep in the on-call room. How are you feeling?" 

"I don't know dad, it hurts all over."

"I'm sorry you have to go through this"

"It's okay i'm alive at least." 

I could tell he wanted to cry but he was too weak for that. Andrew came in. 

"Hey Nick how are you feeling?" 

"Exhausted."

"Drugs make you feel like that, how about your knee?" 

"Nothing, I feel like it isn't there." 

"There should be some feeling at least a little. Can you lift your leg up for me?" 

Nick tried but he could only get it a little up. 

"That's alright, i'm gonna lift it up more okay? Tell me when it starts to hurt." 

"Now" He said after maybe a few seconds. 

"Okay that's good, I'm gonna wean you off the drugs a little so you can have some feeling back." Nick nodded. 

"Dr. Radford can we talk? 

We went out. 

"Is anything wrong?"

"Oh no, he's fine all is good I was just wondering about you." 

"I'm fine thanks."

"Alright." 

He told the nurse to lessen his dose a little and when I went into his room, he was asleep. 

"Hey ah, are you Sam Radford?" A man said from behind me. I turned around to face him. 

"DAD?"
