A/N: This story will start in Steven Universe Future,  but will play back from some of the previous season's of Steven Universe episodes as well. This is actually one of the few cartoons that I watch today(love and respect the old ones!) and always wanted to do a male reader story about it. Also please note that this is Fanfiction and made up. I know most of you know this, but there are still those who complain, so that's why I'm just making this clear.

Ch 1. Welcome

A/N: Before this chapter begins, If you have not seen the Show Steven Universe, then I highly suggest you see that First, before reading this so you can have a better idea on what's going on. Now with that said, Enjoy the chapter.

The scene starts with a young teenager stepping into a bathroom. This teen has dark brown poofy hair and wears a pair of blue jeans with sandals, a black shirt with a yellow star in the middle and a pink jacket. This teenager is none other than Steven Universe.

Steven starts running the bath water in the tub. While that's going on he then goes into a cabinet and takes out three different colored bottles which are Blue, Yellow, and White. As he gets near the tub, he stops the water. He then opens up the blue bottle and let's one drop fall into the water. Instantly the water becomes all blue. He then caps up the bottle, and repeats the exact same thing with the yellow and white bottle. After that, he sticks his finger into his moth and then puts it into the tub and instantly the water turns pink. Suddenly the water shows all four colors and starts to glow. Steven then takes out a bubbled corrupted gem and pops the bubble. As he's holding the gem, he says

Steven: Happy Welcome back Day!

He then drops the gem into the glowing multi-colored water. Instantly the water glows briger and out pops a new gem person.

Of course at first this new gem is startled and panicking since it was made to fight in Gem wars. But Steven slowly but surely calms her down. He then tells this gem that it's been a couple thousand years since the Gem Wars and how he made peace with the diamonds. He then takes her out of the bathroom and slowly leads her out of his home and to a car that's parked out front. As the two get in he starts talking about all the things that have happened and how some of his human friends are doing such as Lars, Sadie, and Connie. Of course the newly brought back gem doesn't understand any of that, but Steven tells her that she'll learn that and more.

As Steven keeps driving they then pull up to a place known as Little Home School

This is a place for Gems to live and learn all about human culture, rediscover themselves and even possibly live on Erath. As they start walking through Little Homeschool, Steven talks about how Gems can forge your own identity, grow your own ideas, and even find your inner Morp. As Steven shows the gem all around the place, he also shows where his Gem friends The Crystal Gems also work there. He shows her, where his friend Garnet teaches an assortment of different classes.

He shows her where his friend Pearl teaches Gems all about Human Technology

He then finally shows her where his friend Amethyst works as a "professor" and teaches "How to decide stuff 101.

As Steven shows the Gem around, she becomes interested more and more about learning there at Little Home School. When the tour is almost over, they end up at the end of Little Home School looking at the ocean.

Steven Universe: And that about wraps up the tour, oh and before I forget, here at Little Home School we like to keep it peaceful and friendly here so both Gems and Humans can eb at peace here. So as long as you don't cause any trouble you'll be-

Random Gem: Hey watch it!

Steven and the new Gem then see two gems arguing.

Random Gem 1: What's the big idea?! I was here first!

Random Gem2: No you weren't I was!!

The two gems were arguing over their place in line, but soon they started to push and shove each other. As they started to get ready to fight, someone else stepped in.

???: Enough!!

Suddenly all the Gems in that area looked to see a young man walking to the two Gems. This person was wearing black shoes, black sweats, a white buttoned shirt, and a black hoodie. He had short black hair with pink tips.

A/N: Just imagine the tips of the hair are pink.

As the new person approached the two gems that were arguing they started to get startled and nervous.

???:*in a serious tone* What did I say about arguing over spots in line?

Random gem 1: *nervous*T-To not t-to.

???: And why is that?

Random gem 2: C-Cause this p-place is going no where and we s-shouldn't fight o-over something dumb and c-childish.

???: Correct. Now listen up! This is your Final warning. If I catch you two arguing with each other again over something so dumb as a spot in line there will be consequences! Do you understand?!

Random gems: Y-Yes Sir!!

???: *rolls his eyes, speaks in monotone* Whatever.

As the young man starts to walk away, Steven calls him over.

Steven: Hey Y/N!

The young man known as Y/N walks over and ignores Steven and looks the new gem up and down inspecting her.

Y/N: Let me guess, your new?

Gem: Y-Yes?

Y/N: *sighs* Well let's get One thing straight here newbie. As long as you don't cause any problems or any trouble, you'll fit in just fine. But! Break anything that's not suppose to, cause anyfights, give Anyone a Hard time...*eyes turn red* And you'll be dealing with me....understand?

Gem: *now scared* Y-Yes sir.

Y/N: *eyes go back to normal* Good. Welcome to Hell.

Steven: Um, Y/N??

Y/N: *scoffs* Welcome To Little Home School.

Y/N then started to walk away and head to the forest.

Gem: W-Who was that?

Steven: *saddened and closes his eyes* That's....Y/N. He's like Little Home School's security, sheriff, and police all in one. He graduated just a couple months back from college and got a degree in everything his college had to offer.

Gem: Wow.

Steven: Yeah...you know, he's also...my brother

Gem: *surprised* Really?

Steven: *nods his head and smiles sadly* Yep. We used to be the best of buds and would always play and have fun together...*frowns* but...there was an accident that happened and now....he hates me.

Gem: *curious* But why what happened?

Steven Universe: Well...it's kinda a long story and besides you should hear about the time Y/N came back.

Gem: I wouldn't mind listening to your story.

Random Gem: Story?! Everyone quick, Steven's gonna tell another one of his stories!!

Suddenly Steven now had a group of Gems staring and smiling at him. The new gem simply sat down and looked at him as well. Steven then slowly took a breath and began his story.

Steven: Well you see, when Y/N came back to Beach City, he wasn't exactly how he is now...

Flashback

A/N: This takes place in Season 3 of Steven Universe after episode 5. 'Hit the Diamond'

The other Rubies had just left to go find Jasper and as they left, Steven and the others started to relax and celebrate when all of a sudden they started to hear slow clapping. As they got quiet, the clapping started to get louder, finally when it finished. On top of the barn stood a hooded figure.

A/N: Warning here in advance. Things are about to get violent and tense

???: *sarcastic* Well done. You beat the Rubies, "yay''.

A/N: Steven a few years younger

Steven: Um, Hi there, who are you?

???: *still sarcastic* What? Steven Universe doesn't recognize Me? I'm shocked, I really am. I would have thought you'd recognize me since you know... I am your older brother *takes of the hood and smiles*

A/N: Y/N a few years younger. Also imagine the hair is full black and the shades are pink

Y/N: *takes off the shades* Hey everybody, miss me~

Everyone (minus Lapis and Peridot) were shocked. They couldn't believe that Y/N was standing right there in font of them. They all slowly started to tear up and smile for being overjoyed that Y/N had somehow made it out alive. The first one to approach Y/N was Pearl she ran up to him and hugged Y/N who was smiling.

Pearl: *tearing up* Oh Y/N!, It's soo good to GAH!!

*Stab*

That's all Pearl was able to get out as she had just been stabbed by a pink katana to the gut. As she looked at her wound, she looked to see that she had been stabbed in the front....by Y/N who was still smiling.

*Poof*

Pearl had just been poofed back into her gem right in front everyone. Before her gem hit the ground, it was bubbled by Y/N, but what nobody caught was that instead of a pink bubble like Steven's the bubble was Blue. Nobody even noticed as they were two shocked that Pear just got stabbed and brought back into her gem. They were so stunned that they didn't even see Y/N disappear and reappear behind Amethyst and by the time they did, Y/N had already gotten her into a fierce bear hug. Y/N easily squeezed the life out of Amethyst who didn't even have time to scream before she was too was poofed. Y/N then bubbled Amethyst in a Black bubble and looked right at Ruby and Sapphire. They were only able to look into each other's eyes as they were suddenly sliced in half by the waist by a giant pink scythe that Y/N had made. They were then bubbled in green and yellow bubbles. Before Lapis or Peridot could do anything, they were slammed into the Barn by a giant fist that belonged to Y/N. the two layed there unconscious as Y/N retracted hi hand back. Now all that was left....was Steven.

Y/N was loving Every moment of what was going on, but as he looked at his brother's terrified face, it made his smile grow.

Steven: Y-Y/N.....why?

Y/N: Heh...Heh, heh....ha,ha,hahahahahahahahahahahahahhhahahahahahahahhHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!.....*stops laughing* Are you serious? YOU of all people are going to ask ME...WHY!?

Y/N then jumped at Steven who by reflex had barely made a shield just as Y/N's fist slammed into it. The mere shock of the hit caused Steven to move back a good couple of feet.

Y/N: Did you seriously forget what you all did to me?!

Y/N then made a pink war hammer and slammed it against Steven's shield, which started to put a dent in it. Y/N kept whacking and whacking, making even more dents in Steven's shield causing Steven to get on a knee. As soon as Y/N saw this, he changed his hammer into a weapon Steven wasn't ready for....a gun. But to be more specific, Y/N had created a Gatling Gun. Then when Steven saw what was going to happen...he closed his eyes and put the rest of his strength into the shield.

As every bullet hit Steven's Shield, it started to make it crack and crack and crack. Finally after Thirty more seconds Steven's shield finally gave out and broke and due to the impact sent him flying. As Steven struggled to get up, he was pulled by his hair and was now facing his brother who didn't even look like he broke a sweat.

Y/N: *staring straight at Steven* You left Me....to die!!

Y/N the slammed Steven face first into the ground and repeated this over and over and over. Finally When Y/N felt like Steven had enough, he stopped and faced him again. By now Steven's face was all bloody, bruised, and swollen.

Y/N: We All could have made it out of that tunnel Together, but once everything started to come down, and fall apart You all started to panic. I saved you when you almost didn't make the jump and what happens a few feet later...just as we were at the entrance!!! I barely made it to the other side and just needed to be pulled up, but what did you do.............you looked at me.........you looked at me like a Stupid Fucking Deer in Headlights!!! I was even yelling at you to pull me up, and you just stared at me in shock. YOU will never know how it feels....to be down there. NO food, No water,....all alone. And did any of you come looking for me......No!!

Y/N then threw Steven into a nearby tree. As Steven's body made impact with the tree, he slowly slid down and bare lifted his head to see Y/N walking over with the bubbled gems.

Y/N: *staring down at Seven* Let me make this clear.....don't come looking for me....don't try to stop me....cause if you do....I. WILL. END YOU.....

And with that, Y/N kicked Steven in the face, knocking his lights out. Before he popped the bubbles, Y/N spat right in Steven's face. He then turned around, and out of his back...came wings.

A/N: Like this but imagine them RED.

As Y/N flew away from the wreck he had made, he didn't know he was being watched and as soon as he was out of sight, the one watching followed him. Meanwhile as the gems started to reform, Y/n's spit started to glow on Steven's face and i an instant... all of Steven's cuts, bumps and bruises...were gone and healed up.

Short Time skip

As Y/n had just landed on Beach City Docks, he took in the amazing sunset and took it all in.

Y/N: *takes a deep breath in and out and smiles* Man...it's great to be home.

???: Y/N...is that really you?

Y/N: *smirks and turns around* You know, I thought you weren't gonna recognize me, and yet you followed me all the way from the barn. Oh, and sorry for hitting you in the barn by the way, I just wanted the Gems and ...Steven. Sorry about that Lapis.

Chapter 2. Good to see You

Flashback

A/N: This takes place during Season 1 of Steven Universe Episode 26 'Ocean Gem', also for now Y/N is wearing a pink shirt with a yellow star, and pants and sneakers.

Y/N, Steven, the gems, Greg, Connie, and Lion were all heading to where Lapis had taken the ocean, as they finally made it, they saw a tower made of the ocean heading up and past the clouds. As everyone was getting out of the van, Lapis told them to go away or else. Of course the gems didn't listen, and Steven tried to talk to her to stop whatever she was trying to do. Meanwhile, without anyone noticing except his father, Y/N had went inside the ocean tower and went straight towards up to Lapis. When he got to the top, Y/N saw Lapis trying to reach out towards space.

Lapis: Just a little more....I'm so close.

Y/N: Close to what?

Lapis: *gasps*

As Lapis turned around, Y/N saw that her gem was still cracked.

A/N: That's how she looked like in that episode

Lapis: What are you doing here?!

Y/N: *puts his hands up* Easy there Lapis, I just want to help.

Lapis: Help?! You just want to bubble me!

Lapis then made a water bubble around Y/N's body and held him captive.

Y/N: Gah! No I don't! *struggles to move* I-I just want to heal your gem! You want to leave right?!

Lapis: *releases him* H-How did you know that?

Y/N: Well I figured when I pulled you out of that mirror that'd you would want to go somewhere else. And I'm guessing that you have your own home somewhere else right?

Lapis: Yes I do....*looks out in space* Home world.

Y/N: Well then let me help you.

Lapis: But what are you gonna do?

Y/N: *smirks* The only power I can do. Heal you. Just turn around alright?

Lapis trusting Y/N did what she was told and turned around facing the far space with her back turned towards him. Y/N then approached her and instead of just slapping some spit on his hand, he simply kissed Lapis's gem. As he was dong that, he couldn't see Lapis blushing. She didn't know what he was doing but...it felt good. A little while later and Lapis started to glow a bright blue. When it finished, Lapis now had actual eyes and she also had water wings coming from her back.

A/N: just look back in 'Before and After' She looks like her 'Before' self with the wings.

As Lapis spread out her wings, She turned around and smiled at Y/N.

Lapis: *smiling* Thank you Y/N.

After that Lapis started to fly away and the water tower started to crumble and fall back to Earth. But if only had waited a few more seconds, she would have heard Y/N trying to call her to take him with her, but she was to overjoyed to return back to home world. Little did she know that, it wouldn't be until way later on that she would ever see Y/N again.

End of Flashback

A/N: Y/N now wears what he has on in his before form.

Lapis couldn't believe that she was finally face to face with Y/N. When she came back, she had been told that Y/N had died in a tunnel collapsing in the Kindergarten. Now moments, before she was almost taken out by a more rugged, serious...good looking Y/N. She had so many questions to ask him, that she only stared at him and he at her. Finally Y/N broke the silence.

Y/N: *smiles* So...how ya been?

Lapis: How have I been? How about you?! When I returned back to Earth, I heard that you died in a tunnel collapsing!

Y/N: *chuckles* Well yes I Technically did die. But my death was extremely....exaggerated. It was more like I was reborn. And now-

Y/N then made his wings appear again and started to hover. He also summoned a pink katana that he then made into a Warhammer, then into a baseball bat, then a battle axe, then nun chucks, then a bastard sword, then a scythe, and so on and so forth.

Y/N: - I can do So Much More than just Healing.

Lapis: *shocked* W-Well that's great and all, but....why did you attack Steven and the gems? Aren't they your family?

Y/N's smile then started to fade, and a frown started to take its place.

Y/N: *frowns* They were.....until they left me to die.

Lapis: *gasps* What?!

Y/N: *sighs and rolls eyes* Of Course they didn't tell you. Why would they anyway. The gems only saw me as another responsibility to take care of and not as a team member. I was always dead weight to them and they always ignored me and were always around Steven. Just because he had more of Mom's powers, he automatically became a cash cow to them and I became a shadow...alone...forsaken...forgotten..invisible.

Y/N then started to shed a tear that went down his face. Not so later, more tears started to follow and he went to his knees and wept. Lapis saw all of this and slowly made her way towards Y/N. She then got on her knees and slowly wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. She had seen many things and felt so much sadness, but watching Y/N seeing him made her feel something more. She also felt something else happening in her chest It was weird, it was that same feeling that she felt when Y/N had kissed her gem. Y/N feeling Lapis hug him, accepted and hugged her gently and cried more into her shoulder. All that time plotting and getting ready to come back and get revenge on Steven and the gems, he had never really talked to anybody or let out any of his emotions. He had just been bottling them all up and now that he was finally talking to someone...he just let it all out.

After a little while, Y/N stopped crying and got up. He thanked Lapis and told her his side of what had happened in the accident. He also told her what happened after he fell.

Y/N: Afterwards I technically wasn't just a Quartz or a Human anymore.

Y/N then lifted up his shirt to reveal not just his hard built six-pac, but also his Gem. There, she saw instead of a pink gem, she saw a multi-colored one with a black circle around it.

A/N: That's what your gem looks like from that view. Also I actually made this, I know it's not the best or any good, but I tried and also had my little seven year old sister help out.

Of course this shocked Lapis, but Y/N only grinned.

Y/N: And if you think that's something, watch this.

Y/N then shocked Lapis even further by doing something she thought was impossible...Y/N Removed his Gem. Instead of fading or looking in pain, Y/N looked fine and happy. Yet, when Lapis looked at the whole gem, she was shocked to see it wasn't a Quartz...but a Diamond.

A/N: That's what your gem looks like Now.

After a while, Y/N easily put it back in his belly button and put his shirt down.

Y/N: Shocking right?

Lapis: H-How?! I thought you were a Quartz!

Y/N: *chuckles* You know I thought so too, but when I received The Other's memories, I not only saw Mom, but I also saw what looked like to be a diamond, and this one was pink. And after going through each of their memories...I think that my mom was-

???: Stop right there you Clod!

Running towards the two was a little green gem that had pointy hair in the shape of a triangle. Honestly, this kind of made her look like a Dorito chip.

A/N: Just look at Peridot's Before Form.

Lapis: It's alright Peridot, Y/N won't hurt you.

Peridot: How can you be sure!? He easily poofed the other Crystal gems and got us unconscious!

Y/N: So this cute little Dorito's name is Peridot. That's cool.

Peridot: *blushes and growls* I AM NOT CUTE! And what in the world is a Dorito?! Is that some sort of insult?!

Y/N: *smirks* No, it's actually a compliment. And besides now you even look cuter when your angry~.

With that response Peridot grew a dark green blush and looked away from Y/N. This made Y/N chuckle and Lapis feel a little jealous.

Y/N: Calm down Lapis your cute too~.

Now Lapis grew a dark blue blush.

Lapis:*blushing* W-Whatever.

As Y/N was enjoying teasing these two gems, a van had just pulled next to the docks and out came a chubby man with long flowing brown hair in the back.

???: Y/N?!?!

Y/N: *looks to who called him and smiles* Hey dad.

Chapter 3. "Blast from the Past"

Flashback....within a Flashback

A/N: This takes place during Season One of Steven Universe, Episode 44 'Marble Madness'. Also once again Y/N is wearing the same thing like in the beginning of the previous chapter.

Location: A Secret Cave in The Kindergarten

Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst had just destroyed Peridot's giant robo hands and were now talking to Steven about how this wasn't really a good idea...all while ignoring Y/N. At this point Y/N was already used to being ignored by the Gems and Steven. At least his dad and the folks of Beach City didn't. As Y/N was looking around, the screen that once showed Peridot's face, now glowed back on, but now it had a countdown sequence going on that read they had less then ten seconds. This made everyone panic because they didn't know what was going to happen. Finally as the timer hit 0:00 , the cave started to shake and collapse. This brought them all out of their shock as they started to run back to the entrance. For the Gems, it was easy to reach it, but for Steven and Y/N, since they were only half gem, they had to run with all their might, while also avoiding falling pieces of rock falling towards them As they were almost to the entrance, a giant piece of the cave's ceiling started to fall faster than the other pieces, it was about to hit Steven, but luckily for him, Y/N had pulled him away just for it to break the ground leaving a gap in their path. Thinking fast on his feet, Y/N told Steven for them to jump. As they did, Steven made it, but Y/N was only able to catch the edge.

Y/N: *trying to pull himself up* Gah! Steven! Give me your hand!

But sadly....it was useless to try to get to Steven. The reason for that was that Steven was looking at his brother, but frozen with fear. He looked at Y/N like a dear in headlight, stuck in complete shock.

Y/N: *struggling to hold on while the cave is still collapsing* Steven!! Come on, I'm loosing my grip here! I'm Slipping!!

Sadly still nothing, for Steven was still there looking at Y/N frozen if fear. As Y/N still tried calling out to Steven, a piece of rubble had fallen down on Y/N's arm...which caused him to loose his grip and fall. The last thing he saw, was Steven's scared face, as he started to descend down the hole while still screaming his brother's name.

Y/N: *screaming while falling* SSSSSTTTTEEEEEVVVVVEEEEEENNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

End Of Flashback.....in a Flashback

Now.....Still in a Flashback

A/N: Y/N now looks like his "Before" picture. Check Before/After if you don't remember

Y/N: And that's what happened to me during that mission.

Y/N had just told his father Greg Universe(looks like his 'Before' Picture), what had happened to him and how he dissapeared. His father was just drving along when he suddenly spotted Y/N and one look....he knew that it was his missing son. When he called out his name, Y/N had responed by saying "Hey Pops"(Y/N's nickname for his dad). Of course Greg started to ask questions on top of questions to his son about everything, so Y/N calmed him down and started to tell him what had happened. Now that he just finished that story, his dad was mortfied.

Greg: *Saddened and tears in his eyes* Oh N/N (Nick Name)....I had no idea that happened to you. I'm so sorry.

Y/N: *smiles* Hey there's no need to apologize pops, besides it's not like you were the one who abandoned me in that cave.

Greg: *even more sad after hearing that* B-But how did you survive?!

By this point Lapis and Peridot were also interested. They both heard tell his dad what happened to him and honestly, they were shocked. They couldn't believe that Steven and the Gems would just abandon Y/N there to die. Peridot felt even worse because she didn't know that the cave would collapse after shutting of the power there. She felt like she needed to apologize to Y/N, but that would have to wait because Y/N started to talk again.

Y/N: *chuckles* Well it's kinda interesting, ya see, as I was still falling down lower and lower into the cave, all I could see was darkness.

Flash back...in a Flashback

As Y/N was still falling down deeper into the darkness of the caves, he had stopped scraeming and now was just...thinking. Thinking on how could his own brother...his own flesh and blood just let him fall. What did he do to him and the Gems that they just ignored him like he wasn't even there...like he didn't even exist.... That's what he thought as his body crashed to the ground with a sickening thud. Before he could even get up , more pieces of rummble fell on top and all around him, trapping him in the process. As he was trying his best not to freak out, somewhere from his mind, he started to replay memories of when the gems were talking about him and how he didn't have any of his mother's abilities and hoe STEVEN was almost just like his mom. How Y/n was almost like deadweight and more of a liability and how STEVEN was getting better everyday and how they were SO Proud of him. How Y/N should just stay home while THEY and STEVEN!! go and take care of the missions!!!!

With all of his rage finally escaping out and not being bottled up, Y/N began to radiate a dark pink aura, it was so strong that his whole body started to glow pink, even his skin and eyes. Then like a seismic charge, Y/N opened his arms and let out a seismic pink wave that went everywhere while also freeing him. Now as he got out of his rubble tomb, he saw there was no way up, because the hole had been blocked by more pieces of the former cave. Y/N didn't even care at that moment, the only thing he cared about.....was Destroying The Crystal Gems and his brother Steven Universe. Y/N then started to look for a way out of the cave, but as he did he started to hear noises coming from all around him. As he was still looking for a way out, shadows started to move all around him. Y/N finally found another tunnel oppening leading out, but before he could get close to it, he started to notice that he wasn't alone.....for all around him...were crystal gem mutations.

Pieces of different gems forcefully fused together....once gem people and warriors....now only gem monsters. But Y/N didn't care, the oly thing he cared about was getting out and getting his revenge on the gems and Steven.

Y/N: *Angry and in a Serious tone* Listeb up.....I don't care what the heck you are or where you all came from....but if you don't get out my way *voice gets deeper* I WILL DESTROY YOU!!! *rips off his shirt*

Y/N's eyes then even became evn more Pink in the process.

A/N: These were what his eyes looked like.

Y/N then began to glow in pink even brighter, this made all the mutations back up a little, but they didn't leave, in fact they stared at Y/N. As Y/N followed their gazes, he saw that they were staring at his gem(which is still full pink for now). He finally started to calm his anger down a bit as he saw that his gem...was now cracked. As he looked at it, he started to tear up. His gem was one of the few items that were mementos of his Mother. Before she passed away when she gave birth to Steven, he was able to spend a little bit of time whith her, that he could remember.

As his tears slowly glided down his face, down his stomach (touching the gem in the process) and finally hitting the ground, they actually started to glow brghter. As it did, Y/N's gem started to glow as well, but it started to glow in a pattern like if it was some kind of beacon. As Y/N saw this, he also noticed that other shards from the gem mutants also started to glow in the same way. Suddenly, one by one, the gem mutants went up to Y/N....and took out one of their shards and moved out of the way and let the next mutation drop thir shard and the cycle continued.

When the mutants stopped dropping some of their shard in front of him, Y/N know saw that they were different shards from different gems. He was now looking at shards from a Ruby, a Sapphire, a Peridot, a Jasper, a Topaz, a Bismuth, a Spinel, a Pearl, an Amethyst, and a Lapis Lazuli. As he looked at all the colorful shards, his gem in his belly button was still glowing like a beacon, then just like his gem, all the shards were glowing the same way. The shards then somehow began to levitate in front of Y/N. As this happened, one by one the shards zoomed into the cracks of Y/N's gem. As this went on his gem started to get even brighter making Y/N cough up as he now felt his insides changing. He also started to feel his veins popping and his whole body changing as this happened the mutants saw his veins changing differnt colors.

A/N: Basically like this, but it's Y/N.

When the glowing started to die down, Y/N felt...powerful. He felt like he could take on the world, but what he also noticed was now his gem was different colors. This didn't phase him one bit, instaed it avtually put a smile on his face.

End of Flashback in a Flashback

Now...still in Flashback

Y/N was now holding out his new"gem" and showing it to his father.

A/N: This is it, in case you forgot.

Greg: Holy Toledo! It's a diamond!!

Y/N: *smiles and takes back the gem and put's it back in his belly button* I know right! And like a little bonus, I can take it out and it dosen't hurt me!

Greg: That's incridible kiddo! But...now what are you going to do?

And just as quick as that smile appered on Y/n's face, it was quickly replaced with a frown.

Y/N: Well now, I'm on a couple missions. A few of them deal with trying to help the gem mutations and try to get them back to normal. And then there's another mission that I have to do.

Greg: What is it?

Y/N: *with a serious face* End Steven and The Crystal Gems.

Greg/Peridot/Lapis: WHAT?!?!

Greg: Y/N you can't be serious!

Y/N: *anger starting to build* ANd why not huh?! Didn'y you just hear me tell you that they abandoned me?!

Before Greg could respond to his son, his other son called out to him.

Steven: DAD!!

They all then turned to see Steven, Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst running towards them.

Y/N: *sighs and rolls his eyes* Of course.

Y/N then began to form something in his hand. When it was done it was none other ...than a Grenade. ANd with a bored expression on his face, Y/N chucked it at their direction like it was nothing. When it went off, it sent Steven and the gems flying back.

Peridot/Lapis/Greg: *worried* Steven!

Y/N: *calm* Oh relax will ya. They're fine, they're just stunned. But, I guess this is my cue to go. See ya pops, *looks at Peridot and Lapis* Ladies~ *winks at them, causing them to blush*.

And before anyone could say or do anything else Y/N flew off.....

END OF FLASHBACK

As Steven finished his story, he had a sullen look on his face. The gems that were listening were either suprised or sad as well.

Gem: Wait...so basically your brother came back, wooped yours and the crystal gem's butts, reunited with your father, then left.

Steven: W-Well yeah, but he didn't leave for forever, he just stayed back and watched us from a distance. He actually helped us out a couple times after that, but this was how he came back into my life...

Gem: But how did you know what Y/N told your dad when you were barely making your way there?

Steven: Dad told me after Y/N had flown off.

After that, Steven had the gems go back to little homeworld, as he looked out at the sunset, he felt something inside him feeling off...so instead of going to the gems about this, he went to a gem that was living out of little homeworld, but what he didn't know was that on top of one of little homeworld's pillars was Y/N. He had heard Steven tell the story of how he had come back, and it honestly reminded him of how he made his enrance. Now as he saw his brother leaving to a certain gem's place, he decided to follow from a far and also visit this gem....who happened to be one of his girlfriends.

Chapter 4. Tough Love

Y/N would never forget the first time he met Jasper. The look in her eyes is what really interested him in her. The look said it all...then again she first looked at him like she wanted to kill him...

Flashback

A/N: This takes place during Season 1 Episode 52 'The Return'.

It had been a while since Y/N had escaped the hidden tunnel from the Kindergarten, but during that time, he had been practicing all of his new powers and abilities. He could now see some things that would happen in the future (but only a few minutes ahead of time), grow water wings and slightly control water, summon and create different weapons (for a short amount of time, slightly shapeshift, stretch out his body, slightly better heal himself and other things, duplicate himself (once for now), create different elements such as ice, fire, electricity, etc., slightly use telekinesis, and so much more that he didn't even know about yet. Of course though, while he was also in the cave, while he was getting stronger, he was also loosing some of his Sanity... but hey, that was just a small price to pay for some power is what he thought.

He practiced day and night for the moment that he would return to Beach City and get his revenge on Steven and the Gems. When he thought that he was ready, he quietly entered is old home by using the warp portal. As he got ready to face the gems and Steven, he realized...that the house was empty. As he quickly went to everyone's room, he didn't find any of them. But as he went to Steven and his old room that they shared, he noticed that out of the window that the gems and Steven were all out side. He also noticed that they were looking at a giant spaceship in the shape of a pointing hand. As the ship opened up, out stepped the green gem called peridot

Y/N was still in the house so he really couldn't hear what they were saying. It looked like she was talking to someone, and the next thin Y/N knew was that another gem came out of the ship. As he got a glimpse of her, he realized that this was a new gem he never saw before. She was as tall or even a little taller than Garnet, she had light orange skin with long fluffy white hair under what looked like an Elvis hair helmet, her gem was her nose, and she looked like she wasn't a friendly....which Y/N was hoping for so he could see his brother get wrecked before he also stepped in and joined in.

As the new gem he guessed was talking smack about the other gems, she quickly took out what looked like to be a yellow saber rod that was also a taser. As she tazzed Garnet, he was shocked because the thing actually made Garnet separate into two different Gems. Right after she went down, she easily took care of Amethyst and Pearl and all that was left was Steven. Y/N took this moment to sneakily move out of the house and closer to the action.

???: Look around you Rose, your soldiers are all defeated....You've lost!

The gem then suddenly punched Steven right in his face....if only Y/N had a camera so he could capture that. As the gem took all of the crystal Gems onto the ship, Y/N decided to let himself be known to her.

Y/N: Wow! You know I gotta say you're good~!

The gem turned around and noticed how Y/N was in old tattered clothing, but with his eyes...they had a certain fire that was wanting to ignite.

???: Who are you Human?

Y/N: *chuckles creepily* You think I'm a Human~.

???: *intrigued* Is that what you not are? A lowly human?

Y/N: Welll Yes and NO. Ya see that kid you epically punched in his stupid fat face was actually my brother *smiling*. I still got to say though, really sweet punch, I mean you have No Idea how I always wanted to do that.

???: Hold on...did you just say that you are related to that abomination who is none other than Rose Quartz.

Y/N: Oh you know Mother do ya~? Well sadly that I am, but he name is Steven *said with venom*.

???: Does that mean, that you are like him with a pink gem in the middle of your stomach?

Y/N: Actually I used to, but I kinda got into a fender bender thanks to my good for nothing little brother so now *raises his tattered shirt and pulls out his gem* I have this.

As the gem saw Y/N do this, she was shocked. She had seen many things thanks to the war...but never had she seen a multi-colored diamond!

???: What in all creation are you?

Y/N: Well I know I'm a Male, cause That still hasn't changed yet. But I know I'm still somewhat of a human like you said, but with my new gem....I really don't have much of a clue.

???: Whatever you are, the Diamonds would want to know more about you. You must come with me.

Y/N: Ooo...yeah, sorry but that ain't happening Jack.

Jasper: Worm! My name is not jack it is Jasper, and that wasn't a request for you to come, that's an order!

Y/N:*still smiling* Oh, well in that case I'll have a large number 1 with large fries, and extra bits please!

Jasper: So you choose to mock me! Then I will bring you by force.

As Y/N saw that Jasper was getting even more agitated, he saw her starting to charge at him, but at the same time, as she picked up speed she started to crouch to where she was now a big white ball that was about to crash into him.

Y/N: You know a certain blue hedgehog would probably sue you for taking his move! *catches her* But since it's just me, why don't you go for a dip!

Y/N then threw Jasper into the ocean. As she skidded and then sunk in, it only took her a moment to get back onto shore.

Jasper: *spits out water* I'll admit, no one has ever stopped me when I went into ramming speed or has ever thrown me before.

Y/N: *shrugs* What can I say, when you've played a lot of Sega and Nintendo, you start to get good.

Jasper: I know what any of that means, but that was just luck, no prepare to take me on in hand to hand combat!

Jasper then charged again at Y/N, but this time she was just using her speed to where she was going to head but him like a ram. Y/N thought of only one clear solution...and that was to copy her. So in a quick second, he made a copy of her helmet in f/c. As the two were getting closer to each other, they looked like two rhinos about to crash into one another. When they made impact, it was so strong that it made a sound wave that shook everything in the perimeter, including the ship. When the two came back out of their quick stun, the looked at each other. While Jasper was trying to study her interesting new opponent, Y/N was looking at her with... warmth and admiration.

That lasted for a bit, but Jasper made the first move by trying to punch out Y/N but he was easily dodging. As Jasper was starting to get tired, Y/N easily kept dodging, but also hitting her in the gut, her sides, and even her legs. As Jasper got more angry by the second, she didn't see Y/N extend hi arm back to where it was stretching all the way back, till he let it o to where he did a mega punch breaking her helmet and sending her back in her ship. As she shakily got up...she was shocked. Not once in all her life had any gem given her such a battle, and yet here was this hybrid and he was beating her. As she was about to attack him again, Peridot's voice was heard.

Peridot: Jasper, hurry up and get here! The prisoners are starting to wake up!

Jasper: *looks at Y/N with new determination* It seems our spar will have to be put on hold. But do not think that this is over. We will come back for you.

Y/N: *eyes flash f/C for a second* Oh, don't worry I know that. In fact I know that you'll be back sooner than you think~.

As the ship started to ascend, Y/N merely waved at it as it began to leave. Sure he knew that Steven and the Gems were on there, but he also knew that they would some how escape and come back here...

And just a few hours later he was right. (future vision is sweet!)

End of Flashback

That would be the first of many Many encounters that Y/N would have with Jasper. As he stayed hidden from everyone of Beach City including his family. He ended up meeting Jasper many times on accident, but each time they met they would always fight and every time Y/N somehow bested her. Y/N and her would always have fun fighting each other, and whenever they weren't they would talk about how they would make Steven and the gems suffer. Finally way later on, Y/N finally asked Jasper to be his girl, and Jasper would only do that...if he could defeat her in combat....which he did. That day not only did he get another girlfriend...but she also got a new Diamond, Friend...and someone she generally cared for.

(Steven Universe Future Episode 2, 'Guidance') Now here he was in the present watching his girl slowly beat the crap out of his brother, with him watching with 3D glasses and popcorn. As he saw that Steven was starting to hold a little of his ground, he also noticed that his powers were staring to act up and also saw his brother's skin go...pink.....Crap Baskets. Looks like it was Steven's turn to go through what he did. But "luckily" for Steven, his big brother would "gladly" help him.....Heh, heh ha hahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha!
