Admit It, Maknae!

Jimin purposely shoved Jungkook to the side while they were in the middle of dance practice. Jungkook stopped dancing and screamed at him over the music. He then turned to Hobi, "Hyung! Tell him to stop!"
Hobi ran over and turned the music off, "Both of you need to stop!"
"I didn't do anything!" Jimin lied.
"You pushed me, don't lie, you asshole," Jungkook shot back at Jimin.
"Oh! Me?! Don't lie?! How about you, huh?! You're doing nothing but lying!" Jimin screamed.
"For the last time I didn't take it!" Jungkook cried.
Jimin crossed his arms, "Prove it, then."
"How?!" Jungkook outturned his pants pockets, "I don't have it Jimin!"
"When will this end?!" Taehyung cried. He walked over to the wall and plopped down on the floor. He was absolutely sick of these two arguing.
Three days ago Jimin's black card went missing. To everyone's surprise, he was accusing Jungkook of stealing it. Jimin thought the timing was odd for it to be missing. The night before it vanished, him and Jungkook were playing a game together and Jimin won, Jungkook accused him of cheating and wanted a redo. Jimin refused a redo and said he won fair and square which left Jungkook pouting and angry. The next day at the studio Jimin realized his card was missing and to him it only made sense that out of spite, Jungkook took it.
"It will end when Jungkook gives me my damn credit card back! I have to cancel it after it's been missing for a week and it's already been three days so just give it back already! I know you took it because you think I cheated in that game. How childish can you get?!"
"Me?! Childish?! You're the one accusing me of stealing! I don't care about the stupid game anymore , I'm over it! Why would I steal your money?! I have my own black card you damn idiot, I don't need yours!"
"Yah! I have had enough!" Jin screamed, "Jungkook if you have his card just give it back to him already so we can end this! Both of you stop being so petty!"
"I DON'T FUCKIN HAVE IT!" Jungkook screamed at the top of his lungs. He was beyond angry. He was furious. He didn't know what happened to his hyungs stupid card and didn't understand why his hyung was so dead set on accusing him, of all people, of taking it.
"Hey! You better watch your mouth when talking to your hyung," Yoongi yelled. He, along with everyone else, was sick of the fighting. "Maybe I should take your card until you give Jimins back, if you did happen to take it." Yoongi wasn't sure who to believe. It wasn't like Jungkook to steal or fight this much. Taehyung and Namjoon were on Jungkook's side, neither of them believed Jungkook stole the credit card. Hobi and Jin were also a bit undecided on who to believe.
Jungkook stormed out of the room and locked himself in his studio instead. He had enough of being accused of something he knew he hadn't done.
Jimin sighed and dropped to the floor. He was exhausted from dancing, and exhausted from screaming and fighting with Jungkook the past three days. He clutched his hands over his face and sighed, "I don't understand. What does it take?! Why won't he just give it back?!"
"Because maybe he's being honest and doesn't actually have it," Namjoon mentioned in support of the maknae.
"Then where is it, huh? Did it just get up and walk away?" Jimin pouted.
"Fucking maybe!" Taehyung shot at his hyung, "Did you ever think maybe you just lost it? You know Kookie. He wouldn't let the fighting last this long if he really had it. He would have given it back by now."
"Maybe he won't give it back because he charged a bunch of money on it!" Jimin yelled.
Yoongi couldn't help but chuckle, "Like he said already though, he has his own money."
"He probably is spending mine on purpose."
The rest of the members sighed. No matter what anyone said they couldn't get either of the two to stop fighting with eachother and none of them knew what to do. Hobi decided to go find Jungkook in his studio while the rest of them stayed behind and played on their phones waiting for the two to come back.
Hobi knew Jungkook's studio password so he let himself in. The maknae was laying on his couch with a pillow covering his face. "Go away," he pleaded.
Hobi grabbed the pillow and threw it on the floor before taking a seat next to his maknae, "Hey come on, don't be like that. Seriously what's going on? I don't want to take sides. I don't know who did what or where his card went but be honest with me. Did you take it or not?"
"Or not," Jungkook said sitting up.
"So you really don't have it?"
"I really don't have it hyung and I hate that I'm being blamed for the fact that he lost his own damn card."
"Okay, I believe you." Hobi rubbed his back, "I can't say the same for Jimin though. I also don't know why he keeps blaming you."
"Because he's an asshole."
"Watch it," Hobi said sternly. He didn't care who was fighting with who, the hyungs never tolerated their dongsaengs being so disrespectful.
"Why don't you tell him to watch it! He's the one who keeps shoving me around during practice!" Jungkook whined.
"I'll talk to him, but also, you need to get back in the studio. We have to finish dance practice. Let's go," Hobi stood up and offered his hand but Jungkook hesitated and said he'd be there in a few minutes. He honestly wasn't ready to deal with Jimin again yet. Hobi went before him and told Jimin he really thinks their maknae was being honest and maybe he just happened to accidentally lose his card and it was coincidental timing.
"I doubt that. I wouldn't lose it," Jimin said confidently.
"Jungkookie wouldn't steal it either," Taehyung said defensively.
"Whose side are you on?!" Jimin yelled at Taehyung.
"I'm on maknae's side this time," Taehyung pouted. Jimin huffed at him, "Whatever."
A few minutes later Jungkook finally rejoined them. He and Jimin both decided to ignore eachother for the rest of dance practice. The hyungs were somewhat grateful for that. At least it put a pause on the fighting. Jungkook was a bit distracted during practice trying to think of ways to either find Jimins stupid card, or at least get him to believe he hadn't taken it. He realized it was missing once they got to the studio. Maybe he lost it somewhere in the building? The bathroom? The company car? His own damn studio like an idiot? He decided that once practice was over he was going to venture around and find that card if it was the last thing he did, he needed to prove his innocence.
Once practice was over the members needed to get work done in their studios. Instead of going to his own studio the maknae started searching around the building for the infamous missing black card. He checked various practice rooms, bathrooms, closets, literally everywhere. He needed to wait for Jimin to not be in his studio before searching there as he knew Jimin was being too prideful to let him willingly search it. After a long while of no luck, he noticed Jimin was out of his studio so he snuck in. He started frantically searching in every spot possible.
He found the black card inbetween Jimin's couch cushions.
"Are you kidding me?! That idiot!" Jungkook pouted out loud to himself. He grabbed the card and went to leave Jimin's studio to bring it to his hyung when Jimin suddenly opened the door. Jimin stared at him wide eyed when he saw Jungkook standing in the middle of his studio holding his black card.
"I knew it! I knew it! What the hell are you doing?!" Jimin screamed at him and yanked it out of his hand and pushed him backwards against the wall.
"Wait! Hyung stop! I found it! It was in your couch!" Jungkook cried.
"Bullshit maknae! Why were you even in here?! I knew you had it this whole time you liar!" Jimin was so angry at catching Jungkook that he couldn't stop himself from smacking him across the face.
Jungkook held his hand to his burning cheek and fought back tears, but they ended up slipping down his face anyways, "Ow! No hyung you're wrong! I came in to look for it to prove to you I didn't have it!"
"You're a fuckin liar maknae!" Jimin screamed. He grabbed Jungkook and wrestled him to the ground.
"Stop it!" Jungkook cried. Jimin didn't respond and the two ended up rolling around the floor beating eachother up. Jungkook finally escaped Jimins grip and ran out of the studio with his hyung chasing him.
"Get back here you asshole!" Jimin screamed.
"No! You're the asshole! I found it for you and this is the thanks I get?!" Jungkook screamed behind him. They were both running through the hallways of the building. Jungkook was a fast runner, but Jimin's anger had him running just as fast. Jimin caught up to Jungkook and grabbed onto the back of his shirt. In an instant he decided to push him forward so he'd fall. He greatly misjudged that.
Jungkook ended up tripping sideways instead, sending him tumbling right down one of the main staircases.
"Ah!" he screamed as he tried gripping onto a step or the rail to catch himself. He couldn't get a grip on anything and continued flying down the stairs. Jimin ran after him and stretched his arm out trying to catch his maknae, "Jungkook!" he screamed. His heart was racing, he hadn't meant to do that.
"Ow!" Jungkook screamed as he slammed into every step. His body suddenly flipped over itself and he landed at the bottom with his head slamming into the ground with a loud thud. The last thing he remembered was hearing Jimin crying and screaming before everything turned black.
"No! Oh my God Kookie! No!" Jimin was now at the bottom of the stairs with his maknae. Jungkook was unconscious after hitting his head. Jimin picked his head up into his lap, "No no no, bunny!! Wake up! Please wake up!" Jimin was in a fit of tears. He was so scared and anxious that he could feel the sweat dripping down his face. It was like his anxiety was physically pouring out of him. He could feel blood coming out of the back of Jungkook's head.
"Help! Help! Someone help!" Jimin screamed. Hobi and Taehyung were headed out of the bathroom when they heard Jimin screaming and crying from down the hall. They ran to him and saw the two at the bottom of the stairs. They both sprinted, even skipping steps to get to the bottom of the stairs with them.
"What the hell happened?!" Hobi cried. Hobi and Taehyung were panicking at the sight. They could see that Jungkook was bleeding and unconcious.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! I pushed him and he fell and hit his head! I didn't mean to I promise! I wasn't trying to do this to him!" Jimin cried.
"You pushed him down the stairs?!" Taehyung screamed at Jimin.
"No! I didn't mean to! We were upstairs and I pushed him forward but he fell sideways instead and fell down the stairs! You have to believe me I didn't mean to hurt him!" Jimin was in shock over what was going on and he was terrified that his members were going to think that he'd done something like this on purpose. Hobi called for an ambulance and took Jungkook from Jimin, "Okay okay, you're going to be okay Kookie, yeah?" he cooed. Hobi now had Jungkook's head in his lap while he ran his fingers through Jungkook's hair. Taehyung was holding his arm. Taehyung called the other members on the phone to come meet them and a few staff members were now surrounding them too. Jimin kept pleading and crying that he hadn't hurt Jungkook on purpose. He was terrified. Namjoon asked why he was chasing the youngest and trying to push him in the first place and Jimin explained what happened in his studio.
"So he found your card for you and you try to kill him?!" Yoongi screamed at Jimin. Jimin sobbed loudly, "I wasn't doing that! I wasn't trying to hurt him!"
"Well it sure as hell looks like you were!" Jin screamed. He was absolutely livid with Jimin. They all were. Paramedics showed up quickly to take Jungkook. Yoongi offered to drive them all to the hospital. Jimin was a blubbering mess the entire time thinking of what he'd done and how stupid he was. What if he never wakes up?! What if I killed him?!
Once they got the the hospital they were escorted to a waiting room, but Jimin was so overcome with guilt that he couldn't bare to be around anyone else so he disappeared to somewhere else in the hospital. He curled up in the corner in a waiting room in a different unit. Thankfully that one was empty. He cried into his knees nonstop repeating over and over to Jungkook that he was sorry.
The rest of the members were reeling with anxiety. Taehyung and Jin were a mess of tears too. The others were doing a somewhat better job of not crying too much. They were all very scared. They didn't know how badly Jungkook hit his head but they knew it had to be bad enough to make him bleed and knock him out. They didn't know when or even if their maknae would ever wake up. And when he did, then what? What did this mean for Jimin and Jungkook? What did it mean for the band? They wondered if one of them would choose to completely step away from the group after this and it hurt their hearts. As mad as they were at Jimin they didn't want to see him go and they prayed that Jungkook wasn't so tortured by this that he'd decide to go either.
After a few hours a doctor came in and told them that Jungkook had a pretty bad concussion, but luckily he had recently woken up and his memory seemed to be intact. He also had to get a few stitches in his head. They did some scans and were able to determine that to everyone's relief he hadn't suffered any long term brain damage. The doctor said at most he'd probably only suffer some severe headaches for a few days. The guys were completely relieved as they were escorted to his room.
The doctor wasn't wrong, Jungkook had the worst headache of his life. He didn't know it was possible for his head to hurt this badly and not explode. The lights had been dimmed in his room for him but they were still too bright. Everything was too bright and too loud. He heard people coming and saw his members come in. The first thing he noticed was that Jimin wasn't with them. Where is he?
"Hey, bunny," Hobi said while wiping tears from his eyes. They all walked over to him and stood around him. "How do you feel?"
Jungkook groaned, "Like garbage, honestly."
"Yeah, well, that's expected," Yoongi replied. Jin asked him if he actually remembered what happened and Jungkook nodded. They wanted to hear his side of the story to see if it matched Jimins. They were actually quite impressed when every detail added up. That meant Jimin had also told them the truth. But they still needed to know one thing.
"Jungkookie....did he push you down the stairs on purpose? Was he trying to hurt you that badly?" Taehyung asked while pouting.
"No," Jungkook replied. Everyone let out a sigh of relief. Jimin had told the truth about that too. Jungkook explained how Jimin went to push him forward but he had tripped and fallen sideways down the stairs instead. He also made it a point to inform them that Jimin actually did try to grab and save him from falling and getting hurt but wasn't fast enough. The members all felt bad after that knowing how badly Jimin must truly feel now that they knew he truly hadn't tried to hurt their maknae.
"Where is he?" Jungkook asked. He was worried about his hyung wondering what happened to him.
"We actually don't know. He disappeared on his own a few hours ago. I think he wanted to be alone," Namjoon answered.
"Oh," was Jungkook's only reply.
"Do you want to see him?" Jin asked. Jungkook nodded. Oddly enough, he did want to see him. Jin texted Jimin, "Maknae is awake and would like to see you. He's in room 407."
Jimin got the text and felt a wave of relief knowing that Jungkook had woken up. I didn't kill him.
He greatly wanted to go see Jungkook too but was so scared of what his maknae wanted to say. He was also still afraid of facing his members. He knew they were angry with him. He took a few minutes to collect himself before heading to room 407. He gently knocked before entering and saw everyone sitting around Jungkook's bed talking to him. He pouted at all the members and made his way over with his gaze to the ground. He'd never felt so full of shame in his entire life.
"You're lucky he woke up, Jimin." Jin scoffed at him. Jimin immediately started crying. "I know, I'm sorry."
"Can I talk to Jimin alone please?" Jungkook asked. The members nodded and headed out. Jimin stood at the side of Jungkook's bed crying. He honestly didn't know what to say but figured the least he could do was start with a simple, "I'm sorry."
Jungkook stared at him in silence. He knew how Jimin was. He knew if he stayed silent for a moment his hyung would say more, and he did.
Jimin completely broke down while apologizing, "I'm so sorry Jungkook-ah! I didn't mean to do that! Please know I didn't mean to hurt you like that! I didn't know you'd fall like that, that was never my intention! Hyung is so so sorry!" he cried. "And..and..and I believe you didn't take the card! I'm really sorry! I'm the worst hyung ever and I understand if you never want to talk to me again or see me again and if you want to hate me forever I know I deserve it!" Jimin sat down and dropped his face into the bedsheets and sobbed more.
"Hyungie.." Jungkook started. Jimin couldn't calm down and didn't even hear Jungkook. Jungkook put his hand on the back of Jimins head, "Hyung."
Jimin looked up, "I could have killed you! I'm so sorry bunny! I'm sure the other members hate me too."
To Jimins surprise, Jungkook responded to him with, "Hyung..it's okay."
"What?" Jimin asked confused, "How could you say that? I really really hurt you. That's not okay!"
"I saw you," Jungkook told him.
"Saw me what?" Jimin was confused. He figured Jungkook's concussion probably also had the maknae quite confused.
"Try to save me," Jungkook started crying, which made his head only hurt a lot more, "It was an accident. It's okay." Jungkook remembered Jimin's face as he was falling. He saw the look of terror on it. He remembered hearing Jimin scream and cry for him before he hit his head. He didn't need Jimin to tell him he was sorry or how bad he felt. He already knew. Jimin felt somewhat relieved knowing that Jungkook was aware that it was all an accident. But he still felt extremely guilty for accusing and being so mean to him over the whole credit card thing. He apologized over and over for that and said he'd never blame his maknae for anything ever again. He told Jungkook how he was sorry for being nothing but an asshole and not believing him when the youngest never deserved it. He also thanked him for finding the damn card in question. Jungkook scooted over and patted the empty spot next to him gesturing for Jimin to lay with him. The two cuddled up and Jimin still kept apologizing and telling his maknae how sorry he was. He said he was willing to do anything to make it up to him but Jungkook said all he really wanted was for the fighting to stop and for his hyung to love him again. Jimin informed him that just because he was angry didn't mean he had ever stopped loving him.
The members weren't too sure how long Jungkook wanted to talk to Jimin so after about two hours they decided to sneak back in. They had all had time to calm down and weren't so angry anymore. They were confused when they walked in and saw Jimin and Jungkook curled up with eachother sleeping.
"They must have talked things out," Yoongi said.
"Aish.....these two are going to be the death of us hyungs," Jin chuckled. Namjoon started laughing, "Well..
As long as they're not the death of eachother."
