So this was process, first I drew three small characters because I didn't know what to do,

First I started with this one. Just messing around with how human I wanted him to be. Using freckles instead of dots on his skin

Then I did this one. Keeping more of his shape but changing his clothes and arms up so he doesn't look so lanky,

And the last one was this. Where I tried to keep the eerie elements of him like the strange arm positions and the hair on his chest. Also putting dots in his hair.

The I actually mixed them all and came out this,
