Either I have some sort of quirk in drawing, or drawing anime really can help with realism for some people.

I mean

Its been a ton shit of years since I ever attempted to draw a real-life person

...well, excluding those few drawings that were drawn half-realistic and half-fictional due to how bad I knew it would turn out 

But I've tried to draw an actually realistic person again since somewhere last week for an art assignment (we were required to draw self-potraits that were as close to a picture of us as possible).

And for some reason, it looks really good-

...yeah, considering how I can bring back up my usual art skills in just 1-3 days after 2 weeks of not drawing, I probably have some weird quirk in drawing-
