10. Alibaba x Aladdin (Magi)

Okay so I know a lot of people probably know Magi because it was a hit a while back, but I'm never into big anime when they come out so rip me lmao. But I think it's really cute when they said they wanted to stay together and be friends; granted, I don't remember much since it's been a while. Either way, I wish there was more content for this ship. Sigh.

9. Aoi x Mahiru (I'm in Love and it's the End of the World)

AIGHT, LISTEN UP. This manga....THIS MANGA. Holy shit. I love it so much. Literally it's amazing ?? The character development is actually better than I thought, given it currently only has 13 chapters, but it's definitely worth mentioning because the main couple is adorable!! I dislike Mayo a lot though; she better not get in the way of Mahiru and Aoi.

8. Nagisa x Rei (Free! Iwatobi Swim Club)

Oh boy. This one isn't fairly recent either, but it's just so pure that I couldn't NOT mention it. I remember watching all of Free during the summer in a span of like two days?? I loved it. I think I cried at one point but don't remember lol. I also like Haru x Rin but not as much as this ship. It's much more pure.

7. Yeong-Gi x Shin-Ae (I Love Yoo)

This webtoon is amazing! The art is awesome, the plot is great so far, and each character has a great development. Though I have to say, the fact that Kosuke x Shin-Ae is much more prominent makes me sad. He's kinda...cold towards her in a way where I feel like their relationship would be blown off way too fast. Yeong-Gi and Shin-Ae share a lot of things that maybe they don't know yet, but I think their slow-burn will be much better.

6. Kody x Lumine (Lumine)

Okay so, because they're younger, I'm sure their relationship wouldn't be all that. However, I do think that they could have something. Lumine cares a lot for Kody as it's shown in the comic, and Kody is eventually warming up to him. Of course, I don't think anything serious would happen soon, but I feel like their relationship would be able to grow with the way things are currently going; it could possibly develop into romance.

5. Tarou x Ibusuki (Hatsukoi Zombie)

I'm sorry in advance, but I literally cannot stand Ebino at all. Like, she's nice and kinda aloof and I won't lie about her body (wow), but she's kinda...annoying? Like seeing things from her perspective gets irritable quick and I just don't like her interactions with Tarou at all. Ibusuki is a much better match.

4. Akira x Ryuji (Persona 5)

You're gonna pry this ship from my cold, dead hands because Ryuji deserves so much more than what he was given. He found comfort in Akira when he needed it, and with all the shit he went through, finding someone he could confide in and who understood him must've felt like heaven. I don't see how Akechi can possibly be shipped with him; maybe it was the "honey, I'm home" little dialogue, but other than that he still is less of a match than Morgana (sorry). I can see some things here and there with Yusuke, but their interactions weren't as personal as they were with Ryuji.

3. Shuichi x Kaede (Danganronpa V3)

You cannot convince me that, in one way or another, this is not canon. There are multiple hints and such that state their affection, admiration, etc. for each other. While most of it might have been Shuichi's one-sided, unrequited love, the love suite event could tell us otherwise. It's not certain if Shuichi in Kaede's fantasy was Shuichi himself or just a made-up boyfriend role he was meant to play, but it's the only event in which the two are heavily implied to have a relationship—be it in a sexual way, or not.

2. Oz x Gilbert (Pandora Hearts)

This is an all-time favorite ship, and one that I've been on for a long time. The clash of personality (a teasing master with his shy valet), the loyalty of master to servant and vice versa, as well as just their friendship in general is all just adorable and heart-warming. There's also how Gilbert protects Oz when he's in trouble, as well as the other way around. It just shows how much they both mean to each other. One thing I do dislike though, is Alice's role between them. While she's part of their trio, I don't think she deserved to be treated so well by Oz. She wasn't nice to anyone, really—hardly even Oz—and was arrogant to an annoyance. Her character overall is well-suited and developed, but in the role as Oz and Gil's friend, it's just...one you wouldn't like.

1. Len x Oliver (Vocaloid)

I think we all saw this coming. Who would've guessed an Olilen account's top ship would be Olilen? There are multiple reasons behind this. Though Vocaloids don't have set personalities, there are few that have been localized or made common to the point where a personality has been molded to the character anyway. For example, Len is arrogant, clumsy, and a bit dumb at times, but he's also an optimist. Oliver, on the other hand, is a shy boy who has a hard time expressing his feelings without getting tongue-tied. Those are kinda the two I stick with most often when writing, but I also do enjoy a change of pace every so often. That's what makes it fun; they aren't set, meaning that changing them wouldn't be an AU or anything. It's just a story using the shells of characters and making them your own, almost. Another thing is that their voices go well together, their colors match, and contradictory to Rin and Len, they aren't implied to be related! (Sorry, my salt spilled.)
