A few weeks ago I saw my friends in a production of School of Rock. The guy who played Dewey looked and sounded exactly like Jack Black.

A week after I saw the show, it was announced that there would be an open casting call for Dewey Finn on Broadway. The cast of the show started raising money to send him to New York for auditions.

They raised enough money in the end, and he went to New York. His audition was yesterday, and they said that they would notify him within the next two weeks to tell him if he got a call back.

Well, by two weeks, they meant a day.

I just found out that someone I know has a callback for the lead role in a Broadway show. I cannot put my excitement in words.

This man is perfect for the role of Dewey Finn. He's done the role before, he can play guitar, he looks and sounds exactly like Jack Black, and he's just amazing. I really hope that he gets the part.

(Small note: I reread this after I wrote it and it sounds a bit braggy. Please don't take it that way. I'm just excited and wanted to share.)
