I'm going to be posting about my show a lot in the next few weeks. Tech is in two weeks, then show.

We had costume fittings today!

I'll list my pros and cons for each. Also, I will list every piece the costume has.

Canaan Wife:
Pieces: Black leotard, black/brown/orange skirt (that I am OBSESSED with), headscarf
Pros: Cute, float, easy to dance in
Cons: Weird headpiece that falls off whenever we turn (and we turn a lot in that costume)

Ishmaelite:
Pieces: Brown Jedi robe (seriously. It says Star Wars on the tag) and (not joking) brown beard
Pros: Robe is soft; I only have to wear it for about a minute.
Cons: ITCHY BEARD

Western Wife:
Pieces: Black leotard, cowboy hat (maybe), bandanna (around neck), petticoat, skirt
Pros: Cute, fun to dance in, easy to put on
Cons: The petticoat is the itchiest thing ever, the skirt keeps falling down and showing my cotton candy pink petticoat

70s Disco:
Pieces: Purple 70s shirt, bell bottom jeans, beaded belt
Pros: Cute, comfortable
Cons: Hot, can't get jeans on over my sneakers, jeans keep falling down

Egyptian:
Pieces: Black leotard, white skirt with gold trim, collar, wrist cuffs, snake crown
Pros: BEAUTIFUL, comfortable, light, easy to dance in
Cons: The stage is really dirty and we are sitting on it in white skirts

Calypso:
Pieces: Black leotard, blue wrap skirt
Pros: Cute, easy to dance in, fun to wear
Cons: We have to take our snake crowns, cuffs, and collar off and put the wrap skirt on in 15 second

Megamix:
Pieces: Black leotard, white shirt, white skirt
Pros: Short skirt, easy to dance in, cute
Cons: SWEATING LIKE CRAZY

So, I'm very excited for this show. I'm playing Issachar's Wife. I just found out today that my husband (who is a toothpick that is shorter than me) doesn't have to life me anymore. That's good. But I still have/get to fangirl over my crush (who is playing the Pharaoh).
