Ya know, I want a hairstyle like this

But, there are a few problems with that.
1. I know it wouldn't look good on me.
2. I'm terrified to ask for it.

So like... what do I do, cuz right now my hair is shoulder length and pretty curly, but it gets really frizzy and gross easily. So, that's kinda the reason I want it short like this, but I don't know how to ask, since my parents say that if I have short hair it'll grow out and look weird. And if I cut it short I'd want to dye it either

Pink

Rose Gold

Purple

Or blue

But, once again. I'm scared of asking because both my parents have shown their distaste for hair dye. So... what do I do? Cuz, I want to do it. But I'm scared to. Like, they were fine with my piercing, but would they be fine with my hair? I don't know. So, I'm really scared to ask, and I don't even know if I'd ask in the first place due to the fear.
