Chapter 36

"Aditya listen" Zoya runs behind him as he takes long steps towards his room. Aditya slams the door shut on her face as Zoya lets out an exasperated Sigh . Deciding to give him space She turns on her heels walking towards the kitchen .

Zoya wasn't surprised to find Noor in the kitchen making something simple to hog onto.

"How is he?" Noor asks soon as her eyes falls on Zoya

"I Don't know" Zoya mumbles "Arjun?"

"Hmm—I –just do not know Zoya" Noor mutters

"Yash?" They both chorus

"What do you think he would be doing?" Noor asks Zoya curiously "No idea" Zoya says shrugging her eyes wandering outside the kitchen not finding Pooja around Zoya concludes Pooja is with Yash .

Yash throws a pebble to the river sitting by the river side after pulling up his car over . Pooja sits beside him trying to gauge what is running in his mind

"Yash" She calls him but sighs seeing him even not bothered to pass her a look.

Yash's mind was full of the Hug they had in actual sense with the feeling of belongingness and protectiveness as 'Brothers' for the very FIRST time . Yash did not have any vague memory after his father passed away of belonging to someone – not even his mother . They ,his mother and Dada Hooda', had always used him for their selfish gains back then – He was separated and lived his all life alone since his father past away .For More than 10 Years he had lived his life alone isolated abroad and suddenly when Arjun was brought into the Hooda Family as His Father's younger brother's Son , That too After his uncle died , Yash did know how to react , He wanted to run to his baby brother and pat him that all will be fine When he had seen Arjun crying hugging his pillow on the First day in the mansion when he was just in his last phase of teenage Yet something stop Yash from embracing him – It was his fears , He was so used to people taking advantage of him that He feared that Arjun to would use him much as he want and leave , So Yash started acting as a stranger to Arjun .

Just a Year back When Aditya was introduced into the family , it was altogether a different equation he had with Aditya , From the beginning they had been tiff with each other it wasn't that Aditya is getting share in the property made Yash rile up against him . F*ck ! , Yash hated for always being pushed by his mother to become the heir , But Yash could not pin-point the exact reason why was he had been cold to Aditya , was it because of Pooja? Or any other thing stopping him , Was it his fear? That they would use and throw him but That Hug!

Yash letting out a sigh throws a stone to the river and stands up dusting his pant . He needs fresh air .

"Pooja I am leaving" , It was the cue for Pooja to follow him behind .

Arjun was the most sensitive one from the Hooda brothers . No one knew how much he yearned for his brothers love . He had grown up with his parents since small gaining their love but His Father's death had made him so deserted in the age of sixteen that he longed for a father figure – Someone Who could guide him . Arjun had seen how his Mother, Manorama , was badly impacted with his father's death yet He had seen how she always had that smile itched on her face not showing her sadness to Arjun . After years of living alone with his mother . On one fine day Arjun never dreamt that the Hooda car would stand in front of his small home .

He felt earth slip around his feet when Mr.Hooda had told he was an Hooda . His mother's face had mirrored the same expressions . When Dada had requested no more like ordered Arjun and his mother to come live in the Mansion , Arjun had out-rightedly rejected but it was his mother who had made him understand that indeed he needs to go with them at least then the world would stop speaking ill about his father parentage . Arjun had begged his mother to accompany him but She refused because She wanted to live in the same place which was filled with her husband's memory .

Arjun when stepped into the mansion the next minute he knew what the feeling of isolation means . He had lived with his mother even if it is was a small home it was filled with love and happiness but in this Big Four walls it was nothing but Filled with loneliness .

When Arjun had seen Yash Bhaiya . His heart craved for his Bhaiya to come and give him hug saying 'It will be Fine' but that never happened . The Four walls became his life where no one except the walls witness his pains. Overtime Arjun overcame that By pursuing into becoming an Actor , His Dada had vehemently refused at first but up to now Arjun could not understand what made his Dada to give permission for his achieving his dream.

Presently, Sitting on his bed Arjun caresses Yash's picture which he had taken secretly unknown to Yash's knowledge. Swiping he sees Aditya's smiling face . Chuckling sadly he puts the phone back . Aditya , The brother he never got to interacted than for any important thing.

But Today somewhat in the corner of his heart , The craving for his brothers love and protectiveness got fulfilled with that One Hug!

Zoya bites her nails impatiently seeing the minutes ticking by and he hasn't even had unlock the door which was locked since hours . Zoya could remember how Mr.Hooda had introduced Aditya as a Jerk but over time Zoya knew better , He was nothing but a Lost Child whose vulnerability was love and Today by letting the brothers alone Zoya could not help but wonder did she stir the feelings of brothers?.

Zoya had released a sigh of relief when Arjun and Yash had joined for dinner although it went awkwardly as the brothers did not even dared to pass a glance instead had their faces glued to the plates .

Zoya taking a deep breath serving food to the plate walks towards his room . Bringing her knuckles praying gods she taps the door . Waiting for minutes Zoya puffs out disappointed and turns on her heels but stops hearing the creaking of the door.

There he is stood with a sullen face that Zoya wanted to hug him tight and whisper that it is going to be Okay . Pushing him aside She takes small steps towards his room and places the plate on the table . Soon as she is in Aditya locks the door and captures her in a tight hug making Zoya gasps surprised as She hugs him back tightly placing her head on his chest . Aditya pushes his face into her hairs inhaling her fragrance trying to calm his mind which had so many questions running.

"Aditya" She calls him softly from the embrace reluctantly pushing him back to have a look at his face . Cupping his face in her palms She asks him 'You Okay?"

Aditya leans onto her palms as he places his palms over hers , "I—am—Not" He says in a hoarse whisper .

Zoya wraps her arms around his shoulders pulling him in a hug running her fingers through his hair and soothing his back . Aditya hugs her more tightly flushing her body into his feeling affectionate.

"Wanna talk?" Zoya asks breaking off the hug.

Aditya shakes his head and requests her nervously "I miss maa " , Zoya looks at him expectantly " Can –I –sleep –in--your lap for some time? – Maa—I –used too- when I am feeling low ",

Zoya feels her heart fluttering at his request in affection for the man front of her . She loved him with all her heart and She could swear on herself that there would no one else except him in her life . Then why cannot She? Let him – After all Her heart belonged to him and only him – even if He did not love her back .

Zoya holding his wrist pulls him to the bed as She sits on the bed and pulls his head placing it on her lap ad pats . Aditya curls up his body and pushes his face more into her stomach wrapping his arms around her waist tightly. He saw His mother in her . Aditya was yet to come to conclusions with his feelings yet He knew He had started falling for her and the moment He felt her head on top on his patting him to sleep His heart knew it would belong to her not anytime sooner .

"Aditya How did you feel when –" Zoya asks softly pausing seeing him looking up at her . Zoya felt tingles coming alive in her skin as his hot breath ghosted across her stomach . Yet it felt pleasurable to have him close to her .

Adi knew She wanted him to speak up yet he was reluctant but a look at her orbs he knew She knew him more than himself . Her eyes ­– He saw something akin to what he had craved – He saw his mother's love in her orbs !

"I –Don't know" He lets out as She runs his fingers through his hair urging him to continue

"They hugged me like –like – Real Brothers would do—So—Protective and –" He pauses relishing the warmth and love he felt with a small smile he says "Full of Love"

Zoya's lips curve up hearing him as she leans down to look into his eyes "Why don't You give it a chance Adi?"

Aditya lets out a sigh closing his eyes "You won't understand Zoya "

"Make me understand" She tells stubbornly brushing her fingers on his stubble .

"When I stepped into the Mansion for the first time all I got was cold shoulder from Yash –I do not know what I have ever done to him – Then even I started reacting "

Zoya knew about the tiff between Aditya and Yash but what did Arjun do that Adi never paid heed to him "Then Arjun?"

"He –" Aditya pauses not knowing "I do not know – maybe I feared rejection just like Yash and Yash's mother rejected me even he would So I never approached him "

Zoya nods taking in "Would you love to—"

Adi cuts her off "No—I –can't –it's not easy "

Zoya nods "What about wife?"

"Wife –she " Aditya nods suddenly getting what she asked . He places the back of his hand on his forehead and chuckles slightly as She chuckles along with him . She wanted to divert the topic if he is not ready to open up to the brothers then she is going to give him time .

"Wife ! never really thought about that" Adi tells with a smile as Zoya looks at him hopefully . Aditya's gaze locks with hers . Seeing her eyes searching for his answer he decides to tease "Wife –I would prefer someone tall and slim with doe-shaped big eyes and red lips "

Zoya's face falls hearing his description – It described Pooja , She pushes him hurriedly and almost sprints out of the room as her eyes fills up . For the first time she felt like crying ! . Aditya calls out her name hurriedly with a chuckle ,"Zoya I was teasing " He shouts but She was already gone for her to hear .

Aditya sighs thinking His Jerry , Rat, got angry he smirks so he is affecting her?, He questions himself and looks at the plate of food . Taking it in his hand he takes a spoon smiling . She never lets him miss a meal !
