You look at Kris, who broke down into quiet sobs. He was a little taller than you, so you reached up to wipe his tears. "What is it?" You say. Your mind was filled with endless possibilities for what Kris was talking about, and half of you didn't want to find out about what Kris saw. He wiped the rest of his tears and held your wrist still, tightening his grip because he was worried about you.

You appreciated the gesture. Kris was a psychopath, sure. He tried killing your sister and now they're dating, sure. But he was a good person most of the time, and only Moon seemed to understand what he'd been through. His mannerisms were a result of many life changing events and had psychologically changed him. He was always the same way you saw him, the kind, quiet guy that had a snarky remark to say any time of the day. But he had baggage, we all do.

Don't we?

He stops at the end of the hallway, the front door behind you both. It seems  that the home looked way smaller from outside than it was. "Here." He says, before he covers your eyes. He didn't want you to see it yet, and you could feel his heart beating really fast, his breaths quick, due to his crying earlier. "Kris, why are you covering my eyes?"

"...I don't really want to show you this..."

He uncovers your eyes, and you see the most gruesome thing. You didn't want to look, but your eyes didn't look away. You wanted to run, you wanted to drive back home.

In front of you, was Susie's parents.

"OH MY GOD." You say with a shaky breath, tears forming at your eyes. Everything in that room was untouched, and Susie's parents were seemingly sleeping. You would've thought they were sleeping,

if it wasn't for the fact that their heads had been chopped off clean.

Blood seeped through the floor boards. The stench was unbearable. You looked at the "sleeping" couple, who seemed to have been hugging eachother close before the incident happened.

Kris pulled you back from the room slowly. He enveloped you in a hug.

"Everything's okay, Y/N. We'll just go home and tell the authorities about what happened. "

You nod. "But...where's Susie? She wouldn't have done this, right? She wouldn't have killed her parents and ran away?"

"of course she wouldn't. Whoever did this took Susie with them. How they did it though, is a mystery. Since she loves to fight."

You nod. Whoever took Susie must've been powerful. This situation was awful, and you didn't expect this at all. This wasn't what you hoped. This was a NIGHTMARE.

You and Kris decided to close the door to the room. Both of you guys thought the same train of thoughts. "

"I don't want to just leave the bodies here."

"they deserve a proper burial."

but none of you spoke. You still wondered about why the rest of the home was empty. Maybe there were robbers? But why would they take everything? including the furniture and the drawers.

You knew that Susie's home didn't have anything that valuable since they're tight on cash, but they lived an honest life in the countryside. Who would what to hurt them like this? who would think to do such a thing.

"Kris." You say, finally.

He stops in his tracks and turns back to you. "yeah? what is it Y/N?"

"put your bike into the back of the car. I'll drop you off home."

Kris nodded, grateful for your gesture. You gave him your keys to open the boot of the car.

You closed the front door of the home, and stepped down the stairs. There was a lone paper card on the ground. You picked it up. It seemed to be a business card of some sort, in a language you couldn't understand.

You pocketed the card and got into the front seat, Kris got into the passengers side of the seat and gave the keys back to you.

You both drove home in silence. The radio was turned off by Kris, and you were thankful for it, because there were many thoughts that needed to be dealt with. Your mind was spinning, and your heart was pumping. You were breathing irregular breaths. Kris was silent, his eyes no longer visible. He was also thinking, about what? You didn't know.

You dropped Kris off home. "Thank you for the ride, Y/N." You nodded, and opened your door. "That's okay." You opened the boot of your car and helped Kris with his bike. Not that he needed any help, but you helped anyway. After that, you drove home in silence.

◇─◇──◇────◇──◇────◇

A man knocked on the door. Or was it a woman? was it a human? was it an animal? was it a monster? what is the entity? is it an entity? or is it a feeling? emotion? is it...anything? does it exist in this world?

You looked around. You didn't seem to be here at all. You were one with the wind. One with the sky.

A vision.

Your front door porch, as familiar as the back of your hand. Roses strewn about because of your father's gardening tactics. The home that you've lived in for the past five years.

A young woman opens the door. She beams. "Hello! What can I help you...-" she stops mid sentence and takes a step back. A familiar face, met again so soon?

"May I come in?" the entity mused.

"No." the girl said firmly. You could see the universe writing itself in her eyes. She was close to just slamming the door in this entities....face...

does he have a face? she? they?

...it?

"I think that you would find what I have to say rather...interesting." He seems to shape himself into a man. A monster. someone who doesn't exist, but...defys all laws of existence. He looks at her with prideful eyes, and he stood with elegance and knowledge. He is now something that you can describe.

His suit glimmers in the moonlight. How? Matte black shouldn't shimmer...but that's the least of your worries.

After all, it seems that this man had secrets that he wanted to spill to the crowd. His final, absolute opinion.

"I have an ultimatum. One that you cannot say no to." The man cackles.  His laugh made your skin crawl, but he also had a voice of 1,000,000 angels. Your mind couldn't get around him.

"I don't want to hear it. I have no interest." And with that, the girl closed the door.

He whispers "she's gone." to the door and walked calmly down the steps.

Moon slams open the front door, looking at the man in horror.

"what have you done?" She said. Her voice shaky.

the man smiled, and reached into his pocket. He revealed a folded piece of paper. He blew, and the wind obeyed, the wind carrying the note to her.

She read it.

She looked up to question what was on the paper.

He's gone.
