Annika had come to greece for honeymoon with her husband. She was working as a R.J. 
Her husband was a doctor, he was just so perfect. She took almost a year to settle in this relation and he gave her time. Always asked her to treat him as a friend. Last week on their first marriage anniversary he proposed her and she accepted it. He took a leave of 15 days just to spend some time with her, he did and is doing everything to keep her happy. But she couldn't be loyal to him... Her heart belonged to someone else. Her husband was a perfect guy any girl could wish for, he loved her. She knew that he love her, she liked him though. But knew that she could never be able to reciprocate his feeling's truly. Yes, she would give him all the rights of husband but wont be able to give that special place someone has in heart even after 5 years... She never told her husband that she had a past, her love, her happiness, her teddy......

Before her thoughts could process she saw a women accidentally fall into the deeper section of the pool. And by the way she was panicking clearly showed that she didn't know swimming. Annika saw if there were lifeguard's around. But found non. Without further thinking she dived in and carefully pulled the lady out. By the time the staff reached there. 

Annika- call the manager and ask him to send a doc. And do you know her room?

staff- no mam but will inform you soon

The women was shivering because of cold, annika thought to take her to her private Villa for now.

Annika- i have my private villa near by, please drop her there and ask the manager to inform her family..

One of the staff member carried that women while the other called the manager to get the doctor.

Annika led the staff in and asked them to keep her on the couch.

A man came from inside , yaha bhi shuru hogayi samaj seva? Mrs. Siddanth Mallhotra?

Annika smiled a little, while the man side hugged her. He was her husband, a very famous surgeon in India Mr Siddanth Mallhotra.

Manager came there.

manager- mam i am extremely sorry but the hotel's doctor isn't available.

Annika- sid please

Siddanth- can i ever deny you love. Don't worry she'll be fine.

He held her pulse, her heart beat was slow. He kept one hand on the other and tried pumping near her stomach, she spitted out water she had swallowed. Then he gave her chest compression, after some 20 compression her heart beat was stable.

manager- sir you thank you for saving her life

Siddanth*smiled*- please inform her family

Manager- sure sir she is here with her husband. I'll inform him.

Manager and the staff went out while siddanth called annika to their room.

siddanth- tum teek ho na

annika nodded.

siddanth- go change, your dress is all wet, and after that help that girl to change as well.

annika- ji

after an hour the girl got back to her conscious, she panicked seeing unfamiliar place.

Annika- easy mam, you are safe here

girl- I was drowning

annika- yes you were, but my husband saved you

sid- half info wifey, my wife got you here. If you are alive it's because of my wife.

girl- thank you both for saving me

annika- app ka naam

girl- Janki singh oberoi

Annika stood rooted in her place, is she the same one she is thinking? Means is her near somewhere? Can she meet him?

Annika- I'll get some food to eat. You please rest.

A man ran into the reception. 

Man- sir i got a call saying my wife was drowning? and

manager- Mr.oberoi you are right, you wife feel into the pool and was drowning. But a couple saved her. The are staying in our private villa.

Man- can you please guide me there

manager- sure

Manager took him to the villa. But he din't move, his heart had started beating after 5 dam years. He turned around to find her but was he imagining things? How will she be here? Shrugging away his thoughts he went in side along with the manager.

Manager rang the bell.

sid- come in

manager- sir Mr.oberoi is here, and Mr.oberoi this is Mr.Mallothra  the one who saved your wife. Now if you could excuse me sir, i'll take you a leave

Mr.oberoi- thank's allot Mr. mallothra. I owe you a big time. By the way i am ShivaaySinghOberoi

Sid- it was my duty Mr.oberoi, and if at all you have to thank you should thank my wife. She the one who dived in and saved your wife. I am Dr.Siddanth Mallothra

Janki- shivaay, meet her she is the one who saved me Mrs. Annika Siddanth Mallothra

Annika who came with snacks and coffee stood rooted hearing his name, and shivaay's case was no different. Both wanted to run into each other, stay in each other's embrace. They wanted the time to stop here only....

Flash back

Scene-1

It was a small house. A man in his late 20's was cooking. 

A girl came from behind and hugged him, while he smiled.

Annika- good morning teddy

Shivaay- good morning jaan

annika- what are you cooking

shivaay- hmm, tuff question  but i can answer if i get a kiss

annika- one just one! awww so cute na. Ok i'll give you one kiss but promise you'll tell me what you are cooking

Shivaay- promise

shivaay turned to her closing his eyes while she smirked peacking his cheeks

shivaay*whining like a kid*- this is not fair?

annika- everything is fair in love and war teddy. Now tell me what are you cooking?

shivaay- cooking a cake for our 5 year anniversary, which i guess you forgot

annika- accha ji, i had planned a  romantic date for this occation but chalo rehene do

shivaay- tume yaad tha

annika- how will i forget this beautiful day of my life shiv, this is the day when god decided to give me my angle, source of my happiness and beats of my heart..

shivaay- you are my jaan anu, you are my life, my heart. You are the light in my dark life, you are the moon in my night sky...

annika/shivaay- I LOVE YOU!!!

He said side hugging annika

Janki stood next to shivaay looping her hand in his. But shivaay was lost in annika, and annika in shivaay...

annika- nahi

shivaay gave her a smile, that smile that tried hiding countless tears...

janki- annika app bohot acchi swimming karthi hai, even shivaay swims really good.

sid- my wifey is a pro in swimming and not being stero type but she drives the best for sure

FLASH BACK

Scene-2

Annika- teddy you know right i dont like swimming

shivaay- you dont like swimming because you are afraid of water. Meri jaan to sherni hai, I want nothing to scare her

annika- shiv please

shivaay- ani in the pool now

annika- sadu!

shivaay- scold me later but come here now

He was in the pool, while annika was hesitating to get in. With having no other option he pulled her in as she landed on his chest. She held his shoulders tight because of her fear.

shivaay- I am here jaan. Me mar jaunga par tume kuch hone nahi dunga

annika- why do you have to talk about  death, even after knowing that I don't like it

shivaay- ok meri baby, sorry. Now first thing to learn swimming is that you need to let go of the fear of water. 

Annika- you kow shiv, fear of water is something i can never over come. I have seen my parents drown infront of my eyes *sobbing*

shivaay hugged her tight ruffling her hair

shivaay- we cannot stick to our past jaan, we need to move ahead. You know my mom used to always say that the place where we lose something valuable, we'll get something from there. Jaha hum har jaye wahipe jitna sikna hoga hame.. 

annika nods

shivaay- now hold my hand, take a deep breath and dip inside. And trust me i am here to hold on to you

annika flashed a smile and did as she was told..

later he slowly thought her swimming, making her forget her fear. He had learnt cooking from her, she was the best cook. It was as if she had magic in her hands, whatever she made turn's out to be a masterpiece...

Now it was time for her driving classes, which again she was not intrested in.

annika- shiv if i learn driving na you'll not come to pick me up from office. Atleast muje pick karne ki bahane to tum mujse rooz milte ho..

shivaay- I promise even if you learn driving i'll be here to pick you up daily. Ok.

Now  consentrate back to the car. ABC pata hai na

annika- ha ha i know ACCELERATOR/BRAKE AND CLUTCH...

Shivaay- A on your right and B&C on you left. Lets move in the first gear first

annika- ye zaruri hai?

shivaay- ha bohot, no more nutanki.

Shivaay was brought back from his memories by janki.

janki- you know annika food cooked by shivaay some what have the same taste

Shivaay was lost in the taste of the food, he was eating after 5 long years.. If that day hadn't come in there lives he would have been in sid's place and his annika, his jaan in janki's place..

sid- kitne saal hogaye app ki shaddi ko

janki- 5 years

annika wiped her tear which din't go unnoticed by shivaay, he wante to cup her face wipe of those tears but fate! There fate has played bad with them...

janki- aur app dono ki

sid side hugged annika

sid - we completed our first anniversery last week

janki- aww, congrats. Shivaay 

shivaay- congrats MR. &MRS mallhotra

annika- thankyou

janki- annika can I use your washroom

annika- ofcourse, right side 3rd room

sid- anu i'll just attend a call and come

annika nods giving him a smile

Annika and shivaay were left behind, there was so much to talk, so much to feel, so much more.

LAST SCENE

Annika- shivaay are you sure your dadu dadi would accept me?

shivaay- jaan, after my parents death all I have is my dadu dadi and you. I am sure they'll accept my ani

Annika- shiv your are not understanding, you belong to a reputed family and me, i am brought up in a orphanage... I was just 6 when my parents died, i dont even remember there name shiv. I dont know my surname! How do you expect them to accept me??

shivaay- shut up anu, not a word more. You are my life and that it. They agree it or not you are my wife not from ritulas but from heart, i accepted as my wife when i propossed you. i dont care about the world all i care is for you, dadu and dadi. And who told you you dont have a surname?

annika-???

shivaay- stupid, you'll be soon Mrs.Annika Shivaay Singh Oberoi madam

annika blushed and hugged shivaay. Soon the went to oberoi mansion holding hand in hand.

There shivaay's dadu was talking to a elderly man with a huge smile on his face..

shivaay- i haven't seen dadu so happy ever. Pata hai anu i'll die hundred times to keep this smile on his face

annika- itna pyaar karte ho ap unse

shivaay- kyu jealous ho?

annika- bilkul nahi. Bas ek promise karo

shivaay- kya chahiye bolo, appke liye to jaanbhi hazir hai

annika- if at all you have to choose between me and your family close your eyes and stand by them.

shivaay- you are my angle anu. I love you.

As that man went annika shivaay entred the mansion. 

His dadu came and hugged shivaay.

Dadu- ajj me bohot kush hu bacche, i am so happy today

shivaay looked confused and annika had the same expression

dadi- shivaay who is this girl

shivaay- dadi sorry i din't tell you and dadu about her earlier. But better late then never. She is annika, my annika the girl whom i love. Dadu i wanna marry her...

Dadu- if this is a joke then it's a bad one shivaay. And if this is true then it's impossible

annika closed her eyes tight, she feared this rejection and it came true

shivaay*with a little raised voice*- mind telling me the reason

dadu- i don't think it's necessary for you to know it

shivaay- wow dadu, you take a decision for me and dont even feel the importance to tell me the reason

annika held shivaay's hands as she knew that his anger was going out of control

dadi- you are forgetting that you are talking to your dadu shivaay. You are raising your voice in front of him for this random girl... What's wrong with you?

shivaay- please dadi she is not any random girl for god sake, she is my love, she is my life

dadu- my decision is final shivaay. Your marriage is fixed with my close friend's granddaughter. I have given him my word, and you know i hate breaking promise

shivaay- so what about the promises i made to her dadu... ? 

dadu- what do you mean?

shivaay- i have made my decision dadu. You want or not she is going to be my wife and that is final

dadu- *screaming* shivaayyyy

he suddenly fell holding his heart

dadi- call the doctor now

shivaay took out his phone

annika went to a corner and sat holding her knees.

annika- all this is happining because of me, shivaay's dadu is in this state because of me. I became shivaay's bad omen. I shouldn't be in his life ..

as the doc came in shivaay came to search annika. He was shocked seeing her like that. 

She kept saying that she should get out of shivaay's life..

shivaay- ani ani, jaan

annika- me chali janugi , me chali jaungi 

shivaay- tum kahi nahi jaogi samji

dadi called shivaay

he held her hand and  went upstairs...

doctor- how did this happen? I had checked him yesterday morning as well. He was fine then. He had a mild heart attack

shivaay- what?

doctor- it was your luck shivaay, it could have been dangareos also. Please make sure he is happy, you know he is a heart patient and his bp is also high. If this continue then i am afraid that you'll lose him. For now i have gieven him his tablets. Take care and call me if needed.

doctor went saying this.

dadi- this is all happining because of you shivaay. Your dadu did so much for you and your happiness, and you gifted this to him? Does he hold any value in your life? Or you feel nothing even if he dies?

shivaay- dadii?

dadi came to annika, fold her hands in front of her..

dadi- beta i dont know who you are, what you are, i have no enemity with you. But i love my husband allot. I beg you, if you want i'll fall on your feet please never come in shivaay's life again.. For my husband his promise is his degnity and he has promised his friend that his grand daughter will become shivaay's wife. And if he fail to fullfil it he'll die. Please leave shivaay please...

annika held dadi's hands

annika- i promise you dadi ji me maar be jau na me shivaay ki life me kabi nahi aungi

shivaay- annika

annika- i told you na teddy, if at all you have to choose one between me and your family choose them. You have promised me, iss ek promise ko nibhalo please

shivaay cupped her face, he joined there head..

shivaay- nahi jepaunga yaar tere bina. 

annika- I love you enough to let you go shivaay, hamara sirf 5 saal ka saath hai. But your family is with you  from past 24 years. Aur bado ko duk dekar hum kabi kush nahi rehpayenge. Please shiv apne dadu ke marzi se shaddi karlo, move on. Keep me in your memories not in your heart... Shayad hamar saath yahi tak tha..

shivaay- nahi, no dont do this to me please. Me dadu ke dost se bath karunga, i'll sort everything out. Please

annika held his hands which were on her cheeks

annika- you are the best thing that happened to me shivaay. Thanks for everything

shivaay was helpless, he was feeling to die. He was sobbing. 

He will get married to some other women? but what about his jaan, she would stay shedding tears, no..

shivaay- me manuga tumhari haar baat maunga par muje ek promise karo

annika- kya?

shivaay- promise me that you'll also move on, you'll also get married, you'll also let some one love you, that you'll give a second chance to your life...

annika hugged him tight...

dadi who was seeing all this felt so low about her self, she saved her husband but snatched away her grandson's love, his happiness... Will her son and daughter-in-law who were somewhere in heaven forgive her? Will she ever forgive her self? When ever she'll see shivaay his eyes will always accuce her for snatching his love....

annika- promise..

shivaay took her lips in his, tears flowing down there eyes. They knew that this was there last kiss.  

Breaking the kiss they joined there forhead

shivaay- i love you. i love you allot jaan. Shayad me kise se shaddi karu, shayad me usko biwi expect karu par pyar me sirf tumse karunga sirf tumse

annika- good bye teddy. Wish you a very happy married life. Me jaha bi rahu jesi bhi rahu hamesha tumhari kushiyoki duva mangungi....

annika left from there, and before she left she turned back to him waved a bye to him, spreading her finger near her lips she asked him to keep smiling...

Annika and shivaay dint move a inch because they knew that if they move any closer to each other they wont be able to hold back this time....

janki came from the washroom

janki- chale shivaay, we have a flight to catch

sid- you guys are going back

shivaay- kaam se ayatha. But this place will be special for me, it gave me something that i have been looking for from 5 years

annika- appki wife bohot acchi hai, unka kayal rakiye ga

shivaay- sure, aur app bhi anu... i mean annika ji ka kayal rakiye ga mr. mallhotra. Bohot nasseb se milti hai in ke jese log

sid- right, meri annika sab se best hai

janki saw a teddy lying there

janki- annika if you dont mind can i take that teddy with me, for your memory

annika- sure

they were leaving when annika said
