Here's the next part.....

Next morning all were having breakfast amidst all the chattering and discussions.....but Sameer already started missing her as she was about to leave in two hours......Vishakha, Vivek were to stay back for another day and they also have to return because of Deepika's school...whereas Preeti have to go to work with Naina from next day onwards....

Sameer decided to go along with Pandit to drop them to the airport....Naina's extended family was also going to Delhi with her for two days before going back to their respective homes....

While having breakfast both Sameer and Naina stole glances of each other. Everyone was noticing this and smiling to themselves......Swati, Amrita and Pandit also, now started to feel that Sameer has some kind of feelings for her....but were still not sure as he had never said anything like this to any of them.....they always knew about his concerned nature towards everyone, but with Naina it was something different.....

The gang made Samaina sit in a separate car, while they took Naina's family in other two cars.....Sameer decided to drive himself and not take any driver along....Naina was just looking at him...as he was not saying anything....even she was somewhere feeling sad as she won't be able to see him for next couple of months....for Naina coming to Mumbai was impossible and as for Sameer, he too didn't know if he'll be able to go to Delhi to meet her before the wedding...or just like engagement, they'll be meeting directly for the wedding.....

But wasting the last few moments together was also not a good idea...so Naina decided to break the ice and start the conversation...

Naina: Sameer...

Sameer: Hmmm...

Naina: Aapko kya hua? Kuchh Bol kyun nii re aap...

Sameer: Kuchh b nii....vo bas kuchh soch raa tha...

Naina: Kya soch re the?

Sameer: kuchh khaas nii...achha ye sb chhodo aur ye batao ki sb log kb tk ruk re h...

Naina: Kal aur parso rukenge fir wapas..

He just nodded....

Sameer: Naina....

Naina: Jii..

Sameer: I'll miss uhh....tum aas pass hoti ho to bahot sukoon milta h....I don't know how to describe.......that why I'm feeling this way...but whenever u are nearby I feel nice.....

Naina: Mujhe b....aap aas paas hote h to safe aur secured feel hota h...

They both looked at each other, and smiled. They reached the airport in some time. Before leaving, Sameer just held her hand and like last time, mumbled a soft take care.....Once she disappeared from his line of sight....they all went back home....

In the evening, Naina reached home with her entire family....but because of the presence of so many people...she did not get a chance to call him. But thinking that he might get worried....she dropped him a text...

Sameer...Mai ghar aa gyi...lekin sb saath h aapko baad mei call krungi....

On the other hand, when she left, Sameer did not go home with others. Instead he went to his office and started to work, to keep himself occupied. He did not realise the time, until his phone showed a notification...when he saw that its text from Naina ....he opened it and was relieved that she's reached safely and didn't forget to inform him...

It's ok Naina...tum rest kro...thak gyi hogi naa...kl b late hi soyi thi...

He kept his phone back and started working again...when again his phone rang...

Jii...waise aap kya krre hain?

Sameer kept his phone in his pocket and left from the office....

He never left his work in the mid, for anyone....even Nanu and Nani had told him multiple times, to leave his work for some reason, but he never listened to them....but for Naina, he wanted to listen or comply by each and every word of hers....something was definitely changing in him....but even he didn't know what was it.......

Everyone at home, were sure that Sameer would not come home so early....Nanu and Vivek were out to show Rohan the new office location which they've decided.....and Mundit were in the living room with Nani, Vishakha, Kamlesh, Prabha and Swapreeamrita....they were talking about the engagement and most specifically about the announcement that Vivek made...

Munna: Sachi Mausi....Mai to bahot khush hun...ki ab hum sb saath rahenge...

Pandit: Haan Mausi...pehle ki tarah hum chaaron bhai ek hi ghar mei...isse achha to kuchh ho hi nii skta.....

Kamlesh: Haan Vishakha ben.....jija jii ne ek dum bole to ek dum hi sahi faisla kia h....

Vishakha: Haan bhai sahab.....Mai b bahot khush hun....finally ab mere teenon bachche meri aankhon k saamne hi rahenge.....

Just then Sameer entered...and found everyone together and discussing something...

Sameer: Kya baatein ho rii h..?

All turned and were shocked to see him there....it was totally unlike Sameer to come home in the afternoon itself......He looked at them weirdly as all were staring at him with wide eyes....

Sameer: Aap log mujhe aise kyun dekh re hain? What's wrong?

Munna: Aeee ponga zara cheeti kaat to....

Pandit pinched him really hard...and Munna winces in pain and smacks his head...

Munna: Pagal ho gaya h kya be?

Pandit: Abe tune hi to bola...

Munna: Abe cheeti kaatne bola tha...khaal ukhaadne nii.....

Pandit: Sorry chhenu...

Sameer: Are chup kro tum dono....aur aap sb aise kyun dekh re h...jaise koi bhoot dekh lia ho....

Nani: Beta bhoot to nii lekin duniya ka aathva ajooba zaroor dekh lia h....

Sameer: Kya mtlb?

Vishakha: Are mtlb ye ki tu aaj pehli baar Jldi aaya h...I mean jb b tu office jata h to ghr aane ka naam nii leta...aur aaj to tune khud kaha tha ki raat tk aayega...

Swati: Aur humaare itna manane k baad b tum office gye....

Amrita: Aur ye b bola ki raat ko hi aaoge....

Preeti: Aur ab suddenly yahan? Kaise? The Sameer Maheshwari ka record toot gaya aaj?

Mundit: Ye chamatkaar hua kaise?

Sameer: Are vo to Naina ne....

He stopped abruptly.....and everyone was giving him teasing smiles...

Sameer: Umm...vo...Mai...I mean kabhi b ghr aa skta hun...I've got some work Mai room mei jaa raa hun....

He ran from there...and all started laughing....

Vishakha: Bilkul buddhu h...Lekin ab finally he's changing...for good...

All looked at each other with happy and contended smiles...whereas Sameer was standing at the end of the stairs listening to them and blushing.....

Even at night, he couldn't talk much with Naina...as she was busy with her family and all her cousins who were staying with her....this was making Sameer restless.....

On the other hand Naina was busy with her family members...her sisters didn't leave her even for a second....they all were together after a really long time. Her grandparents also wanted to spend the maximum time with their granddaughter. Unlike most of the other families, they loved their granddaughter a little more than their grandson. Even she was anxious to call and talk with Sameer, but did not get a chance the whole day. At night, it was decided that all her siblings will be sleeping with her in the same room. As there were only three bedrooms, and one was already for her grandparents, she had to agree to it. And yet again she couldn't talk with him. So before going to bed she decided to text him...

Sorry Sameer aaj call nii kr paungi shyd......

She kept her phone down with a sigh...waiting for his reply.....and it came immediately...

Kya? Lekin kyu Naina?

He didn't reply further...and Naina knew that he was upset...but even she was quite helpless....she tried sleeping, but couldn't sleep as even she was missing their phone calls....whereas Sameer was really sad, even though he understood that she needed to spend time with her family as well...but something was provoking him badly....

Next day also, Naina tried to call him, but wasn't much successful...they talked once or twice, but not much as someone or the other came calling her...and she wasn't t going to office as well....she didn't get time or privacy to call him...even Sameer's mood was really off.....he wasn't the happy guy anymore whom his staff had become used to since past two months....

He again became grumpy, started shouting at his staff for even small mistakes they committed...just the next day when he reached office, he heard two employees talking....he was just passing from there, but when he heard his name he stopped to hear what they are talking about.....

Emp1: yrr pata nii Sameer sir ko kya ho gaya h...

Emp2: kyu? Kya hua?

Emp1: Yrr aaj Maine lunch k pehle glti se glt file le gaya...aur unhone mujhe itna sunaya ki kya batau....

Emp2: lekin abhi kuchh din se to theek the...fir kya hua?

Emp1: pata nii....breakup ho gaya hoga....

Both laugh...

Emp1: lekin ek baat aur hui...

Emp2: kya?

Emp1: unki finger p angoothi thi...

Emp2: to isme kya h? Itna bada businessman h....baap ka diamonds ka business h..ek angoothi mei kya hota h?

Emp1: are mtlb...ring finger p...engagement ring type kuchh...

Emp2: Aisa to nii ki kahin sir ki zabardasti shaadi krwa re ho...aur isiliye vo is baat ka gussa sb p nikal re ho?

Emp1: Lekin Maheshwari Jii aise to nii lgte....ki apne naati ki zabardasti shaadi krwaye....

Emp2: Are sb bade log hain...ho skta h..ki business k fayde k liye krwa di ho.....vo kya naam h us ldki ka jo yahan aksar aati rhti h....

Sameer could hear no more, as firstly they were discussing his personal life, which he never liked and secondly they were talking so low about his Nanu....he just roared at them...

Sameer: What the hell is going on here...

Seeing him, they both got scared and their faces became white out of  fear.....

Sameer: Tum logon ko mai yahan kaam krne k paise deta hun...yaa bakwaas krne k...

Employees: Sorry sir...

Sameer: To hell with your sorry....get out...you are fired....

He didn't wait to listen to them and left from their..storming towards his cabin.....Later when Mundit got to know about it...they came to meet him as they were unaware of the reason...and Sameer told them the entire sequence that occurred before his outburst....

Mundit sighed and left from there...as he wasn't totally wrong about this matter....Sameer could not understand the reason for his again changed behaviour...he sat in his cabin itself lost in thoughts...

Sameer: (thinking) Ye ho kya raa h mujhe? Pehle to Mai aisa hi tha...I never liked jb koi apna kaam seriously nii krta....but why did those people say ki Mai firse change ho gaya...firse mtlb kya hota h? Mai konsa roz roz change hota hun....upar se do din se Naina se b baat nii hui...use naa meri koi padi hi nii h....huh....yrr lekin vo b kya kr skti hai....mummy papa, dadu, dadi, Reyansh....sb log h....aur abhi to Maasi, mama aur Mami b h.....upar se raat ko Maahi aur Aru b Naina k saath hi hote hain.....lekin Mai b to important hu naa...usi ne kaha tha....tchhh...ab kl sbke jaane k baad call kregi naa...to Mai baat hi nii krunga...Mai b gussa hu ab usse...lekin agar usne mujhe manaya nii to? Nii nii....Sameer beta itna bhao b mt kha lena...ki tujhpe hi ulta pd jaaye....

He kept contradicting his own thoughts whole day...this was the first time, when he couldn't concentrate on his work...he never lets his personal and professional life get mixed up. But today, was different.

In the evening, when he reached home, Vishakha, Vivek, Preehan had left for Delhi with Deepika, whereas Kamlesh and Prabha had left for Ahmedabad. Everyone was observing Sameer, since past two days. He hardly ate or talked with anyone. When Nanu and Nani asked Mundit, they told about what happened in office today.

Swati: Haan Nanu....Delhi se aane k baad Sameer kaafi change ho gaya tha...office mei calls b krta tha...

Amrita: Haan Naina ko.....lekin sagai k baad se naa jaane kyu ukhda hua h...

Munna: Mujhe pata h use kya hua h...

Everyone: Kya?

Munna: Pyaar...apne bhai ko pyaar ho gaya h...

Pandit: Chup kr jaa chhenu...nii to pit jayega....bhabhi ka to soch yrr...

Munna looked at Pandit with anger and smacked hardly in his head...

Munna: Chup be ponga....bhabhi se hi pyaar ho gaya h use...

Pandit: To ye to khush hone waali baat h naa? To ye itna sada hua kyu ghoom raa h?

Munna: Abe...abhi bhabhi ki poori family unke saath h...ye baat nii kr paa raa h....isiliye...har baat p bhadak raa h....aur ise khud ko smjh nii aa raa iska reaction....isiliye aur zada frustrate ho raa h....

Pandit: Kuchh b logic mt de...

Nani and Nanu could very well understand what their grandson is going through right now...

Nani: Nii Pandit...Munna bilkul theek keh raa h....

Nanu: Haan...finally mere sher ko b pyaar ho gaya....

Munna: Haan Maine kaha tha naa....ki ab ye arranged marriage nii h...ab ye h.. love cum arranged marriage.....h....

They all were very happy that finally Sameer had fallen in love...but Amrita's one question forced all of them to think...

Amrita: Vo sb to theek h...lekin Sameer ko to realise hi nii hua h ab tk...that he's in love...

Swati: Haan...use realise ho..tb to koi fayda hoga naa....

Munna: Baat to tum dono ki sahi h..

Pandit: Kuchh sochte hain...ki kaise use ye ehsaas dilaaye....directly jaake bola to tum dono to bach jaogi...lekin hum dono ka bharta bana dega vo....

Munna: Sahi bola ponga....bahot marega yrr...

They both made crying faces and hugged each other...Swati and Amrita palmed their faces in frustration seeing the mellow drama of their husbands.....when Nanu said assuringly.....

Nanu: Tum log chinta mt kro...mai baat krunga Sameer se ....

All had dinner, ecstatic about Sameer finally falling in love....Swati and Amrita called Preeti and told her also about this, but asked her to not tell anything to Naina or not even talk to Sameer about this....she assured them but told Vishakha, Vivek and Rohan also about it....they were really happy....but...Dadi, who heard it, got more angry......

On the other hand, Sameer was in his room...still unable to find out the reason for his fluctuating moods. He was still lost, when he heard a knock, thinking that it's Ramdhari again, to call him for dinner,

Sameer: (shouting) Ramdhari..jaa yahan se....bola naa tujhe I don't want to eat anything....just leave me alone.....

Nanu heard him and entered directly....

Nanu: Sameer...kya hua? Mai hu...Ramdhari nii....

Hearing Nanu's voice, Sameer got up from the bed and went towards Nanu....

Sameer: Are Nanu aap? Mujhe bula lia hota...Mai aa jata...

Nanu: Tujhe bulaya to tha dinner p...tu aaya hi nii..to mujhe hi aana pada...

Sameer: Hn...haa...Haan vo Nanu...actually...ab...vo mujhe naa bhookh nii h...isiliye nii aaya...

He stuttered badly, and didn't meet Nanu's gaze...he kept looking here and there...but not at Nanu...just then Nani entered with a plate of food...

Nani: haan pata h...bhookh nii h...chal baith..

Sameer: Nani...sachi bhookh nii h...nii to Mai aa jata...

Nani: 2 din se theek se kuchh khaya b nii h....Aise kaise chalega....Agar tune nii khaya to Mai Naina se teri shikayat kr dungi...

Nani and Nanu laughed at this...whereas Sameer just mumbled against his breadth...

Sameer: (mumbling) Haan jaise use koi fark pdta h...huh...2 din se baat tk nii ki usne mujhse theek se....

Nanu: Kya badbada raa h? Saaf saaf bol...

Sameer: Nii Nanu kuchh nii...bs aise hi...

Nani: Chal baith...aaj tujhe apne haath se khilati hu...aa jaa...

Nani and Nanu sat on the couch in the room, whereas Sameer sat near her feet....he could never deny his Nanu and Nani for anything.....and he always loved since childhood when his Nani fed him with her own hands.....she started feeding him lovingly and he also ate...even he didn't realise that he was famished....

Nani: Dekha...kitni bhookh lgi thi tujhe....

Saneer just smiled like a kid at her....and continued eating....

Nanu: Sameer...

He looked at Nanu and nodded....

Nanu: batayega nii ki kya tujhe pareshaan krra h? Aaj office mei jo hua vo b mujhe pata chala,....

Sameer stopped chewing and looked at both Nanu and Nani...who were constantly looking at him...he gulped as if someone had caught him red handed, doing some mischief....

Sameer: Ye Munna Pandit b naa....unhe to Mai....

Nanu: Dekh Office mei jo hua usme teri glti nii h....ab bata aur kya baat h?

Sameer: Kuchh nii Nanu...everything's fine...

They looked at him with narrowed eyes....and thin line on their faces....he knew that he won't be able to convince them...he sighed and continued...

Sameer: Ab Mai aap dono ko kya batau...jb mujhe khud hi nii pata ki mujhe hua kya h? Jb se Naina wapas gyi h, usse theek se baat hi nii hui...Aap dono ko pata h aaj vo dono employees bol re the, ki jbse Mai Rohan ki shaadi se wapas aaya hun...I've changed....aur abhi do din se firse waise hi ho gaya hun....aur ye Naina...maana ki uske saath sb h...but thoda time to nikal hi skti h naa? Lekin nii...madam ko time hi nii h...mai b ab usse gussa hu....lekin agar zada gussa kia aur usne nii manaya to...Nanu mujhe to samajh hi nii aa raa...pehle Mai kabhi kisi ka phone nii uthata tha aap dono k alawa...lekin ab hamesha Naina ko call krta hun...aur uska call answer b krta hun....Nanu aise kaise ho skta h? Ki jise mai kuchh mahine pehle jaanta b nii tha...aaj uski har baat maanta hun....I know vo meri dost h...but vo to baaki sb b h naa....Aap dono ko pata h...usse milne k baad jb b Mai sad hua...uske ek baar kuchh keh dene se mai itna better feel krta hun.....uske ek assurance se mai shaant ho jata hun....mujhe to kuchh smjh hi nii aa raa....

He sighed and sat on the table in front of them....and that's when he realised what all he had blurted in front of his grandparents....he slowly lift his head to look at them....and found them looking at him affectionately and with warm smiles.....

Sameer: Aa...aap...aap log mujhe aise kyu dekh re hain?

Nanu looked at Nani and she too blinked at him,

Nanu: Bas ye dekh re h...ki finally humaare nawase ko pyaar ho gaya h....

Saneer was shocked at his grandfather's analysis of his thoughts...he got up with a jerk...

Sameer: Na...Nan...Nanu aap ye...ky ....kya Bol re hain? Nani dekho naa...Nanu kya bol re hain.....

Nani: Sahi to bol re hain...Mai to bahot khush hun...

Nanu: Aur tu to aise darr raa h jaise kisi aur ki biwi se pyaar kr baitha h...

Nanu laughed loudly on his own comment and Sameer made a grumpy face at him...Nani just chuckled at this...

Nanu: Mazaak krra hun bhai...aur khud ki hone waali biwi se pyaar kia to kya galat kia?

Nani: Haan...aur waise b ye aaj nii to kl hona hi tha...

Nanu: Baith yahan...

Nanu patted at the table and Sameer sat like an obedient child...ready to listen what his grandfather has to say to him...his words of wisdom had always helped Sameer....and showed him the right path and he knew he could definitely use some advice today.....As for all of them, the real meaning and live example of love was Nanu and Nani.....

Nanu: Dekh beta...Mai maanta hun ki tum dono ki arranged marriage h....lekin teri Nani aur meri b thi...mujhe to inhe pehli baar dekhte hi pyaar ho gaya....aur teri aankhon mei Naina ko dekhte hi...waisi hi chamak aa jaati h...jaisi meri aankhon mei aati h teri Nani ko dekh k...yaa jaise baaki sb ki aankhon mei hoti h, use dekh k jisse vo pyaar krte hain...aur tu pareshaan isiliye h kyunki tera dil jaanta h ki tu Naina se pyaar krta h....lekin tu is baat ko naa hi smjh paa raa h aur naa hi maan raa h....

Nanu: Haan dekh hum jeeta jaagta example hain...

Sameer: Lekin Nanu agar ye pyaar nii hua to? Mai khud hi sure nii hun.....

Nanu chuckled at his grandson's question....Nani just caressed his head...

Nanu: Beta...jb kisi insaan k bina din adhoora lgne lage...uski kami har jagah mehsoos ho, bhookh pyaas chali jaaye aur uske bs saamne aa jaane se dil ko ek sukoon mil jaaye...to smjh jaa ki us insaan ne aapka dil chura lia h....

Nani: Beta jo bina kahe hi aapke dil ki har baat smjh jaaye...aapki khushi uske chehre p dikhe aur aapka dard uski aankhon se bahe to smjh jana ki ye insaan kabhi aapka dil nii dukhayega.....

Nanu: Jiski awaaz aapke dil k har dard ko mita de...jiska sirf aapke aas paas hone ka ehsaas aapko ek thandak de jaaye...to smjh jaa that she's the one....

Sameer kept listening to whatever his Nanu, Nani said and kept thinking about everything....how he feels incomplete without Naina being around him...how a day seems like years without talking with her....

Nanu: Dekh ab tu h to mera hi nawasa....ab agar tune khud hi apne pyaar ko accept nii kia aur uska izhaar nii kia...to laanat h fir to tujhpe....

Nani and Nanu left from there...and Sameer kept thinking about what all they said..

Sameer: (thinking) kya sachi mei mtlb....mujhe Naina se pyaar? But aise kaise pyaar ho skta h? Lekin isme glt b kya h? Humaari shaadi hone waali h...lekin aise pyaar hota h kya? Haan lekin Nanu ne jo jo kaha...sb bilkul aise hi ho raa h...usse do din se baat nii hui to bilkul achha nii lg raa...yrr mtlb sach mei...

His face lit up at his realisation...he stood up on the bed..

Sameer: Yrr....mujhe pyaar ho gaya I can't believe it...shoot...mtlb mujhe Naina se....finally mujhe pyaar ho gaya....I'm in love....I'm in love....Sameer Maheshwari is in love...with Naina Shukla.....nii nii Naina Maheshwari....
