He was really happy and was shouting on top of his voice....as he thought that everyone were asleep...but everyone was outside waiting anxiously...what if he doesn't realise his love even now? But when they heard him shouting they all ran towards his room and started banging the door.....

He looked at the door and then got down the bed to open it...and as and when he opened it..Mundit jumped on him and Swamrita were also there along with Nanu and Nani....and Mundit were shouting in top of their voices....

Mundit: Humaare bhai ko pyaar ho gaya...finally...humaare bhai ko pyaar ho gaya....

Sameer just blushed once they left him....but again all had a family hug...

Munna: Yrr aaj hum bahot khush hain...finally tujhe pyaar ho gaya...

Pandit: Haan bhai...Sachi...bahot khushi ho rii h...

Nanu came forward and patted him....

Nanu: Achha hua tujhe ehsaas ho gaya...nii to humein laga tha aur mehnat krni padegi...ab ye bata Naina ko kb bata raa h apne dil ki baat?

Swati: Haan Sameer kuchh achha sa plan krna...

Amrita: Haan something romantic....

Swamrita: Haaye....

They both were lost in their dreamland....Munna's voice brought them back...

Munna: Ohh deviyon..sapnon ki duniya se bahar aa jao....

Sameer laughed at their drama..and blushed a little on Nanu's comment..

Nani: Ab sharmana band kr aur bata...kab kahega Naina se?

Sameer: Nani abhi socha nii h...mujhe thoda time chahiye...abhi do din pehle hi humaari engagement hui h...aur uske baad se theek se baat b nii kr paaye....isiliye pehle mujhe janna h that what does she feel....

Mundit: Dil kaa haal janna h....aaye haaye....

All teased him but then after some more time went to their rooms...Sameer also laid down on his bed...

Sameer: Dekha Naina tumne kya kr dia...ab sb mujhe chhed re hain...I hope kl tumse baat ho paayegi...yrr ye subah kb hogi....

He turned on the bed with a pillow and kept thinking about everything....and didn't realise when he fell asleep...

As for Naina, these two days were really hard on her. Though she was happy being with her family after so long....but still she was missing something...or someone...but mostly felt bad, that she couldn't give him time...time was the only thing that he wanted...but she wasn't still comfortable enough to talk with him in front of her whole family......

Somehow two days passed, and as and when she dropped her family at the airport, and started driving towards the office, she called him....he picked the call in just two rings...

Samaina: Hello....

They both smiled, as they always greet each other at the same time...this had become their thing now...

Naina: Sorry Sameer....Mai do din se aapse theek se baat b nii kr paayi...I know ki is baar glti meri hi h...mujhe bahot bura lg raa h....Maine koshish b ki, lekin har baar koi naa koi aa jata tha...aur pata nii kyun sbke saamne aapse baat hi nii kr paati mai.....please maaf kr dijiye naa...aapko gussa krna h to kr lijiye....yaa daant b lijiye..lekin please kuchh to boliye naa.....

Sameer: Naina....Naina....tum bolne dogi to bolungi naa...aur sorry kyu? I totally understand ki tum busy thi...family ko time dena zaroori h...aur I know humaari arranged marriage h..aur shayad isiliye tum sbke saamne baat nii kr paayi...shayad mai b nii kr pata....isiliye don't worry Mai bilkul b gussa nii hun...I just missed uhh...

Before he could think, these words were out of his mouth...Naina was kinda surprised...When he said correcting his folly...

Sameer: I mean missed talking to you...

Naina: Maine b....

Sameer smiled hearing this and even she was smiling that he's not angry or upset with her....

Sameer: Achha batao sb chale gye?

Naina: Haan bas abhi drop Kia h unko aur Mai b office hi jaa rii hun....

Sameer: Ohh...aaj se back to work....

Naina: Haan....itne din ki leave ho hi gyi h....to aaj se office...

Sameer: Chalo achha h....waise tum notice kb de rii ho?

Naina: Maine socha h ki March mei de dungi....yaa feb end....shaadi k pehle once I'm done with my notice I'll go home...shaadi k baad hi join krungi...is it ok?

Sameer: Of course....umm actually shaadi k baad b shayad tum thode din join nii kr paogi....

Naina: Haan ab kuchh din ghr p sbke saath rahungi...aur...

Sameer: Nii Naina vo baat nii h...

Naina: To?

Sameer: Umm...vo...actually...Mai....tumhe...

Naina: Kya hua Sameer?

Sameer: Actually...umm I've a surprise for you...lekin vo Mai tumhe shaadi k baad hi bataunga....

Naina: Bataiye naa please....

Sameer: Naa...baad mei...

Naina: Theek h.. (sadly pouting)

Sameer: Yrr Naina please naa....smile kr do naa...

She smiles a little...when he asks again she gives him a full fledged smile....this was the smile he had fallen in love with....they both talked till she reached office...

As she entered, she met Preeti.....they both hugged each other and talked for some time before heading to their respective works. The entire day was spent peacefully....Samaina talked every now and then...

Next couple of days went normally....they used to talk a lot...and every time they talked, his love was getting deeper...he wanted to tell her about his feelings....but wasn't sure, as to how she'll react to it...he loved talking with her.....and even she liked to talk with him.....the time they spent with each other, even on the call, was the best time for both of them....

Everything was going fine. Vivek had already informed Dadi about his decision to move to Mumbai along with his entire family, "except for her." On knowing about his decision, she created a huge scene and also tried her best to not let this happen. In her anger and rage, she was about to call Sameer, but was stopped by Vivek and that was the first time when he raised his voice on his mother. He took her alone in her room and said something to her, which no one was told, but after that she stopped trying and even didn't spoke to any of them. Nobody knew the reason as to why Dadi gave up so soon....but all were quite relieved and made sure to keep her away from Naina and Sameer. And now it was almost the end of February. Naina has decided that she'll give her resignation and will work till 30th of April and then will go to her hometown. One evening they both were talking on a video call...when she literally gave him a 440 volt ka shock...

Naina: Sameer aapse ek baat bolni h...

Sameer: Haan bolo naa Naina...

Naina: Aapko yaad h naa...about the deal which our company lost coz Mai late ho gyi thi meeting k liye...

Sameer: Haan...jb tumne papa ki help ki thi...and then you were trying to talk with that writer...kya naam tha uska?

Naina: Durjoy Dutta...

Sameer: Haan...to kya hua?

Naina: Actually I got his appointment...itne mahino ki mehnat k baad finally he agreed....

Sameer: Are waah...kya baat h...to problem kya h?

Naina: He's in New York for next two months, and already he lives in Dubai...aur Mai to April last mei job chhod rii hun...

Sameer: Okkk...I know...to tum usse call setup kr lo...yaa kisi aur ko bol do ki jaa k mil aaye...

Naina: Nii Sameer aise kaise...glti to meri hi thi naa... I don't regret it...Kyunki Papa Jii ki jagah koi b hota, to b Mai help krti...lekin meri wajah se kisi aur ka loss kyu ho?

Sameer: Haan Naina Mai samjhta hun...to tum exactly kya krna chahti ho?

Naina: Mai...New York jana chahti hun...

Sameer became numb...sending Naina away from himself...she was in Delhi and that thing provoked him so badly....and now she wanted to go to the states...it wasn't like he was against her working, he always wanted her to reach the skies....but sending her away from himself was making him breathless...

Naina: Sameer...kya hua...kuchh boliye naa...Sameer...

Sameer: Ha..haan...ab...jana zaroori h?

She just cutely nodded her head in a way of yes...he sighed and continued....

Sameer: Theek h...kahan rukogi, kitne din mei aaogi?

Naina: Ummm...Mama, Mami k saath...aur New York mei Maine bataya tha naa bade mama k ek relative rehte h...agar zaroorat padi to ek din unke ghr ruk jaungi...coz hotel mei to nii rehne denge mujhe...aur wahan tk jaake unse bina mile aa b nii skti....

Sameer: Haan tum unke saath rahogi to mujhe b tension nii hogi...aur jana kb h?

Naina: Pehle boss se kl baat krungi...fir decide krungi...wapas aate time shayad Mami b saath aa jayengi...Mama ko leaves nii milenge to vo shaadi p hi aayenge...lekin Mami, Neel aur Pranu aa jayenge...I guess....

Sameer: Vo to best hoga...lekin akeli jaogi?

Naina: Sameer...Mai pehle b to akele travel krti thi naa...

Sameer: (mumbling) Haan lekin ab meri jaan basti h tum mei...kaise kahun...tumhe khone ka darr laga rhta h hamesha...

Naina: Kya bol re hain...kuchh samajh nii aa raa....

Sameer: Nii kuchh nii...Umm...ek baat poochhu?

Naina: Haan boliye naa?

Sameer: Chachi b New York mei hi hain...unse b milke...unhe shaadi k liye invite krne jaogi?

Naina's face lost her colour....she lived in the USA for almost 3 years...and visited New York and New Jersey multiple times as her Mama, Mami and uncle aunty lived there....but even in those three years, she could never gather the courage to meet her Chachi and her brother.....She always feared, what if her brother would not recognise her.....all her hopes that she had held on to for so many years, with a very thin thread...will all shatter at that very moment.....Her reverie was broken by his worried voice....

Sameer: Naina....Naina please kuchh bolo naa...agar meri baat ka bura laga to I'm really sorry.....

Naina: Ni....nii...Sam....Sameer....Mai..mujh...mujhse nii hoga.....Mai unhe face nii kr paungi....agar Shlok doesn't recognise me? Mere hopes b khatam ho jayenge...

Sameer: And what if he does? Naina he can be there on the most special day of your life...

Naina: Chachi nii aayengi Sameer...

Sameer: It's ok but mujhe itna pata h ki meri Naina bina try kiye haar maanne waalon mei se nii h....hai naa?

Naina looked at him when he said meri Naina...and just cutely nodded her head....he was relieved to see her in her normal self.....he couldn't see tears in her eyes....They both talked for some time, about here and there and when Sameer felt that she's better, he bade her good night, and asked her to get some rest.

Once the call ended, he knew that this is the most sensitive topic for Naina. She won't be able to get normal so soon, and she definitely needed his support....thinking something he made a call and talked for some time and then slept peacefully.

Next day, when Naina spoke to her boss about the same, he agreed, as ever since they lost the deal...he had been kinda pissed off at her. But he even knew that she was trying to talk with the writer...and she also informed about her leaving the job, stating that she's moving from Delhi after her marriage, which is in three months. He agreed to it after a long discussion. It was decided that Naina will go to New York, in March end as she might need to stay back for fifteen days including her travelling. And after coming back, she'll wind up her rest of the work and 30th will be her last working day.

Naina informed Sameer about the same. He had not met her in person, after the engagement. Both wanted to meet each other, before Naina leaves for the USA, but Naina couldn't say much. As for Sameer, he was trying his best, to make some space in his schedule for at least two days so that he could go and visit her. The days kept passing, but Naina couldn't gather courage to ask him to come to Delhi as she knew that he was really keeping busy and she didn't wanted to bother him unnecessarily. But on his insistence, she's made up her mind to visit her Chachi in New York this time and invite her to the wedding.

It was just two days left, before she had to leave for New York. Preeti had already completed her six months contract with the company.....and all were ready to move to Mumbai, but the plan had been changed to May, when Naina will go home, as they did not want her to be totally alone in Delhi. In the evening she was doing some packing, when the bell rang. It was almost 8 in the evening and she wasn't expecting any guests, but at times Preeti and Rohan used to visit her....sometimes with Deepika and sometimes just the two of them....and also Vivek and Vishakha had visited her a few times...thinking it must be them, she went to the door and opened it, and was shocked seeing the person in front of her....it was none other than Sameer.....

He was standing in front of her, with his charming smile and Greek god looks....she's always found him look hotter in his office formals, and looking at him it was evident that he's come directly from work...He kept looking at her, but when she did not move from her place, he snapped his fingers in front of her...

Sameer: Naina...kya hua?

Naina: Aa...aap...mtlb sach mei?

He lovingly kept his hand on her cheeks, and she realised that he was there for real....even she didn't know, but she so badly wanted him to be here with her.....she didn't say anything and just hugged him tightly....

He lost his balance for a second, due to her sudden act, but balanced himself immediately and held her protectively. He just smiled. Ever since he realised his love for her, he never got a chance to meet her or see her in person, but today, he had her in his arms. He was now sure that even she had some feelings for him, and his confession, will not make her uncomfortable......

As for Naina, even though she agreed to meet her aunt and cousin in New York, she was still scared. Even she didn't know about the outcomes of the meeting, but still she was scared and wanted him to be with her, before she goes....and now, here he is....as soon as she saw him, and realised that he was here for real, she couldn't hold on to herself anymore and flung her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. His heartbeats are the best music to her ears.....it automatically soothed her fears and gave her all the assurance......that she needed at that time...

They stood still for a few moments, when Sameer spoke...

Sameer: Naina...andar chalo koi b aa skta h naa yahan...

She realised their position, and mentally scolded herself for reacting in this way....now she was worried of what Sameer will think of her....she slowly moved out of his embrace and kept looking down...she didn't have the courage to face him....Sameer looked at her and and then gently holding her hand brought her inside and close the door behind himself with his foot....

He held her face between both his palms and made her look at himself...as she looked at him, he gently kissed her forehead.....and she closed her eyes in bliss.....he again hugged her...

Sameer: Jaanta hu ki tumhe darr lg raa h...aur daarna is ok, but don't give up without trying....

She just nodded her head against his chest...and he smiled at her cuteness....after some time they both came out of each other's embrace, and Sameer settled on the sofa, and Naina brought him a glass of water....

Naina: Sameer..aap achanak? Aaj jb baat hui thi, tb to aapne nii bataya tha...

Sameer: Haan actually ek meeting thi..bataya tha naa...to uske end hone k time p hi dependent tha mera aana yaa naa aana.......isiliye pehle se nii bataya...agar aa nii pata to tumhe bura lgta....

Naina: Haan vo to h...lekin aap office se direct aaye h naa?

Sameer: Haan...jaise hi meeting khatam hui directly aa gaya...lekin Rohan ko inform kia h....so no worries...

She smiled at him....

Naina: Thank you...

Sameer: Kyun?

Naina: Aap aaye isiliye....mujhe sach mei darr lg raa tha...aur jaane se pehle aapse milna b tha...lekin aap busy the isiliye nii bola....

Sameer: Jaanta hun....isiliye aa gaya...Mai b milna chahta tha before you leave...

Naina: Aap Delhi mei kitne din rukenge?

Sameer: I'll be here for two days....day after tomorrow I'll drop you to the airport and then will leave for Mumbai....

Naina just nodded....He could see that something was bothering her....he kept the glass back and went towards her....he held her hands...

Sameer: Naina....nii milna unse? Are you still unsure?

Naina: Nii Sameer....baat vo nii h...pata nii bas darr lg raa h...soch rii hu akele kaise jaungi...Coz Mama k saath nii jaa skti...

Sameer: Kyun?

Naina: Unko b Chachi pasand nii h...coz jb mai padhne k liye gyi thi to mama ne unko call krke bataya tha that I'm coming...she was like ki ok jb aaye to call kr dena....she didn't even call me for once....unhe mujhse koi attachment nii h...bas rakhi p gifts bhj deti hain...kyunki mai har saal rakhi bhjti hun...isiliye mama ko le jana is not a good idea...

Sameer: It's ok...I understand but trust me everything will be good...kuchh galat nii hoga...mujhpe bharosa h naa?

Naina: Haan sbse zada...

Sameer: To bs...sb theek hoga...now smile...mere liye...please...

She smiled at him....

Sameer: Achha batao dinner mei kya banaya h?

Naina: Aap haath dho k aaiye...I'll serve...

Sameer: Okk...

Saying this he turned, but was confused as to in which room he should go....Naina looked and him and told him to go to her room...pointing towards the room...Sameer just bobbed his head and went in her room....he was really happy that she wasn't uncomfortable around him at all....

They both had dinner together....

Sameer: Naina...humaari shaadi k baad kya kabhi kabhi tum mere liye khana banaogi?

Naina: Haan pakka....aur kabhi kabhi kyu? Mai roz b aapke liye khana bana skti hun...

Sameer: Nii roz nii....kabhi kabhi...roz mei to tum thak jaogi naa...

Naina: nii thakungi...

His concern and care for her always mesmerised her...and as for him, her smile always did magic....they both talked about general things including her travelling plans, and a few arrangements he did for her...like a chauffeur with a car who'll always be there for her, to take her anywhere she wanted to....though she denied, but he was adamant and she gave in to his orders.....

After dinner they had coffee, as he wanted to have coffee made by her....and she gladly accepted his demand....they were sitting in the living room....watching the beautiful starry sky....

Sameer: Naina....tum khana chahe roz mt banana....but please kya tum roz coffee bana skti ho?

Naina: Hahahha Haan pakka...aapki roz subah mere haath ki coffee se hi hogi...don't worry....

He smiled at her.....he left from her house at around 11. As Rohan had already informed that Sameer was coming, Dadi was sent out for two days on pretext of visiting some relatives, whose marriage they couldn't attend. And since it was already pending for quite sometime.....and Dadi could never let go off a chance to show off...so she went without any argument....Sameer reached home and met everyone, but soon retired to their rooms as it was quite late....

The whole night Sameer couldn't sleep...as he kept thinking about Naina's words....

Hahahha Haan pakka...aapki roz subah mere haath ki coffee se hi hogi...don't worry....

He kept imagining, how she'll wake him up every morning....showering lots of love on him.....he kept imagining this and did not realise when he fell asleep.....and Naina was also happy....finally Sameer was here....and whatever confidence she lacked...was finally back....she felt way better and slept peacefully that night after so many days....
