Everyone was in the living room. Nanu, Nani, Vivek, Vishakha along with Rama and Rakesh were discussing about Sameer and Naina's wedding, when Deepika came there running. She tugged on Naina's hand calling her...

Deepika: Naina didi chalo naa bahar khelte hain.....aur aapne kaha tha ki aaj aap mujhe story b sunaoge princess waali....

Naina smiled at her and before she could say anything Rohan came and slightly tapped on her head. Deepika turned and looked at him with a cute angry pout...

Rohan: Buddhu Naina didi nii Bhabhi bol....

Deepika: Hain? Bhabhi kaise? Meri to two Bhabhi h naa Poonam Bhabhi aur Preeti Bhabhi....

All laughed at her cute antics...when Nanu picked her up in his arms and made her sit on his lap....

Nanu: Beta....Ab aapke Sameer bhaiya se shaadi krengi to aapki Bhabhi hi hui naa....

Deepika beamed hearing this...

Deepika: Sachi Nanu ab Sameer bhaiya b dulhe wala dress pehnenge Munna aur Pandit bhaiya jaise. Waisa hi naa mummy jaisa aap Rohan bhaiya k liye b laayi?

Sameer blushed hearing this and even Naina kept her head down not able to face everyone...

Vishakha: Hahahhaha haan dadi amma waisa hi dress lenge tere Sameer bhaiya k liye....

Deepika was more than happy....she got down from Nanu's lap and ran towards Sameer. As he saw her he got down on his knees to match her height...She happily kissed both his cheeks and then hugged....

Deepika: Bhaiya aap na us dress mei ek dum vo story waale prince lagoge jo us din Nani ne sunaayi thi...aur ab to aapko aapki princess b mil gyi....

Sameer was just blushing, as he always used to tease his brothers but today he was at the receiving end of it. Everyone just laughed and adored the brother sister bond.....When getting back on the topic Nani mentioned...

Nani: Lekin shaadi kb rakhein? Kyunki parson Preeti aur Rohan ki shaadi k din is saal ka aakhri mahurat hai.....Aur fir baaki sb mahurat agle saal hi honge aur ab itni jldi to inki shaadi nii kr skte naa....

Everyone started thinking as to what can be done. After a few moments, Vivek spoke getting everyone's attention....

Vivek: Mummy jii...Mai kya bolta hun ki kyun naa hum inka Roka kr dein kl Sangeet k pehle yaa parso subah aur fir engagement aur Shaadi ek saath kr denge sbse pehla mahurat dekh kar....aur tb tk to....

Saying this Vivek stopped abruptly, but before anyone could ask anything

Nani: Haan baat to theek h...Aaplog ko kya lgta h?

Rakesh: Haan ye b theek h humein b samay mil jayega taiyaariyon k liye...lekin Roka itni jldi? Naina k Mama Mausi koi b nii hain...aur Preeti ki shaadi b h....

Nanu: Are in sb ki koi dikkat nii h...hum inka roka subah subah kr denge aur Shaadi to shaam ki h....bas dono k haath mei shagun rakh denge...ho gaya Roka...aur waise b Preeti aur Rohan ki shaadi k do din baad humein b wapas nikalna h Sameer ki b meetings h aur kaam b pending h....

Naina looked Sameer...and found him looking at her....But everyone's chattering broke their reverie.....They all talked for some more time and then finalizing the day for Roka all left for their rooms bidding good night to each other......Naina was also halfheartedly following her friends as they were talking to her....just then she received a message on her phone....It was none other than Sameer....

Naina kuchh baat krni h...garden mei milogi?

                                                                                     Sameer baat to mujhe b krni h aapse...lekin sb h yahan....

Haan to ek kaam kro...11 bje garden mei milo...

Preeti saw her busy with the phone and smiling....

Preeti: Bhn...aisa konsa joke aaya tere phone p...jo tu itna muskura rii h...

Preeti didn't believe her, but then thought maybe she's telling the truth. Bidding good night to each other....they all left for their rooms one by one....Sameer glanced at Naina when she was about to enter her room...Rohan and Preeti saw this...and they couldn't leave the chance of teasing the new couple in the group...

Rohan: Umm...bhai....

Sameer: Huh...haan...kya hua?

Rohan: Kuchh nii bs check krra tha ki aap isi duniya mei ho yaa Bhabhi k saath sapnon ki duniya mei chale gye....

Preeti: Haan Naina...tu b kahin khoyi hui hi h...kya baat h mann nii lg raa kya ab Sameer k bina...??

Rohan: Waise Preeti mujhe b yahi lg raa h....ki ab bhai ka b mann nii lgta Bhabhi k bina....

Preeti: Ek idea deti hun tum dono ko.....dekho abhi tum dono ki shaadi mei to time h...to tum dono naa jitna chahe utna romance humaari shaadi mei kr lo....kya pata tumhaari shaadi tk....you know....tum dono ka arranged wala marriage...love waale marriage mei badal jaaye... (winking)

Sameer and Naina both stare her.....with wide eyes....when Rohan continued...

Rohan: Haan...Bas aap dono hi ho jo arranged couple h humaare group mei...to you guys have time to change that....(teasingly looking at Sameer)

Both Rohan and Preeti laughed giving hifi to each other.....while Samaina blushed profusely ......Sameer composed himself and gave angry glares to Preehan and seeing that they both kept fingers on their lips, still sniggering seeing their red faces....then all left for their rooms....

Once inside, Naina couldn't wait to meet and talk with Sameer. Even Sameer was in the same state of mind. They both have seen the acceptance in each other's eyes, but still wanted to hear from each other. And also, Naina had told him everything about herself, but still there were a lot of questions in her mind. She is going to get married to him, they were friends and he was also there for her whenever she needed him, to save her, care for her and comfort her....and she also wanted to be there for him.....to know the reason behind his sad eyes, but still she couldn't do anything until and unless he tells her everything. But be it anything, she will always be there for him, like he's been there for her and she will fulfill all her duties as his wife.

Finally after half an hour, it was 11 pm. But that half an hour felt like ages to both of them. Sameer couldn't stay in the room as he felt suffocated, so he already left for the garden at quarter to 11. He was strolling, when he felt someone's footsteps coming in his direction. He already knew who it was......and when he turned he saw Naina coming towards him. Nervousness writ all over her face. She kept fidgeting with her fingers and kept looking at her feet. She slowly came and stood in front of him. He kept looking at her.......they both stood in silence.....not knowing where to start from.....

After some more time.....when none of them said anything, Naina thought of breaking the ice and start a conversation....

Naina: Um...Sameer aapne bulaya tha naa? Kya hua?

He came out of his thoughts.....and realized why he had called her here......

Sameer: Um....haan vo..Naina actually tumse kuchh poochhna tha.....

Naina: Haan Sameer boliye naa kya poochhna h aapko...

Sameer: Naina...dekho I know aaj humaari shaadi fix hui h...lekin uske pehle hum dost hain...aur hamesha rahenge...aur dost ek doosre se kuchh nii chhupaate.....to promise kro ki mai jo poochhunga tum mujhe sb sach bataogi...dil se jawaab dogi.....

Naina first looked at him questioningly and then nodded her head.....To make things normal for her....he started

Sameer: Naina....aaj jb subah mai wapas aaya tb tum itna ajeeb kyu behave krri thi...tumne poora din mujhse baat ni ki...pata h mai kitni koshish ki tumse baat krne ki par tum har baar bhaag jaati thi... (making a cute pout)

She chuckled seeing him talk like this......But even she knew that he was doing all this to make her comfortable...

Naina: Vo....actually Sameer......aaj jb Nana jii ne achanak shaadi ki baat ki...to mai ek dum se shock ho gyi thi. Mtlb ki pehle ye mehendi mei aapka naam, uske baad ye shaadi ka Rishta aur fir unhone kaha ki aapne already haan kr dia h shaadi k liye...I mean itna sb ek saath...mujhe kuchh smjh hi nii aa raa tha....mai bahot confuse ho gyi thi. Aur fir jb aap aaye to baar baar dimaag mei yahi sb aa raa tha aur Nana ji ne kaha tha ki vo aaj mummy papa k aate hi unse baat krenge.....to mai bahot darr gyi thi ki agar unhone mana kr dia to Nana jii ko bahot bura lagega aur kahin aap b naraaz ho gye aur humaari dosti b shayad aap tod denge...isiliye mai chup thi....confusion, anxiety bahot kuchh chl raa tha dil aur dimaag mei....

Sameer was hearing all this and he could understand how she might be feeling....Naina again continued...

Naina: Sorry...mai aapko ignore nii krri thi...bas apni hi confusions mei uljhi hui thi....Aap please gussa mt hoiye naa....

Sameer: Hmm....pehle to gussa nii tha...but ab hun...tumne firse sorry kaha naa.?

Naina: (slaps her forehead) Achhaa aap gussa mt kijiye...ab nii kahungi...

Hearing this Sameer smiles and then again Naina starts fidgeting with her fingers....

Sameer: Naina...kuchh baat h kya? Batao naa...

Naina: Ummm...vo...mai aapse kuchh poochhu? But aap b promise kijiye ki aap sach sach batayenge aur kuchh chhupayenge nii mujhse....

Sameer thought for a while.....as to what she wanted to ask him...maybe about his past.....But he cannot deny her as for the first reason is that she is going to be his wife and she has all the rights to know everything about him, secondly, Nanu always taught him that the base of any relationship is only and only  trust, and she already trusted him and told him everything even though she was unaware of his decision of getting married with her, but still she did tell him everything. His reverie was broken when she again spoke.....But her next sentence left him stunned....

Naina: Sameer aap chinta mt kijiye mai aapse aapke past yaa usse related kuchh nii poochhungi...vo aap tb hi bataiyega jb aapko theek lage...mai wait krungi...but as for now I wanna ask you something else....

Sameer simply nodded with a small smile.

Naina: Sameer.....aapne is shaadi k liye haan kyu kaha? Kahin kisi k pressure mei aake....

Sameer: (cutting her in between) Nii Naina....maine kisi k pressure mei aake haan nii kaha...bas mere dil ne kaha isiliye maine shaadi k liye haan kaha h....aur koi majboori yaa ehsaan nii...in fact maine to shaadi k liye tumhaare past k baare jaanne se b pehle haan keh dia tha...Naina mai tumse jhoot nii kahunga kyunki Nanu kehte hain ki koi b Rishta sach p tika hota h...

Naina mai ye nii kahunga ki mai tumse pyaar krta hun yaa aisa kuchh b...lekin Naina pata nii jb pehli baar mila tbse tumhaari aankhon mei ek ajeeb sa darr aur discomfort dekha tha....lgta tha ki kuchh b krke bs tumhe hamesha bacha k rakhun...aur jb Rudra k saath dekha to tumhaari aankhon mei ajeeb si bechaini dikhi mujhe...aur mai use dekh kar bahot gussa ho gaya tha.....aur kl raat jb tumhaari aankhon mei aansu dekhe to kuchh ajeeb sa chubh gaya jaise mujhe...I can never see tears in your eyes....Aur mai nii jaanta ki humaari shaadi mei pyaar kb aayega...lekin ek promise krta hun ki humaari married life mei respect hamesha hogi.......aur mai tumhaare har decision mei tumhe hamesha support krunga...I promise is rishte ko poori imaandari se nibhaunga.....

Hearing him, Naina smiled wholeheartedly with moist eyes....Sameer came forward and softly wiped away her tears.....

Naina: Sameer...abhi tk mujhe ye sochke bura lg raa tha ki kahin Nana jii yaa kisi aur k pressure mei aake aapne mujhse shaadi krne ka decision naa lia ho...but ab mujhe koi chinta nii h....

She replied with a warm smile...Sameer relaxed seeing her awkwardness melt away...but still there was a question that was still nagging in his mind....Naina sensed that he wanted to ask her something...

Sameer: Naina...abhi thodi der pehle tumhe kaise pata chala ki mai kya soch raa tha?

Naina thought for a while, thinking what he was talking about...just then she remembered...She started with a comforting smile...

Naina: Sameer....mai sb kuchh to nii jaanti....yaa shayad kuchh b nii jaanti...but sbki baaton se..I've come to know that you've never shared your pain with anyone....isiliye mai samajh gyi ki jb maine aapse kaha ki mai kuchh poochhna chahti hun...tb aap soch mei pad gye, aur mai samajh gyi....

Sameer was dumbstruck with her answer....He never thought that without even saying a word, someone could understand him so well.....He smiled at her...

Sameer: Naina....ek baat aur poochhni thi...

Naina: Jii....kahiye naa....

Sameer: Naina tumne mujhse poochha tha naa ki maine shaadi k liye haan kyun kaha, mai b tumse yahi poochhna chahta tha ki kya tumne kisi pressure mei aake to nii haan kaha naa shaadi k liye?

Naina: Nii Sameer...apko lgta h kya ki mai apni life ka itna bada decision kisi pressure mei lungi? Aur baat bas meri nii aapki zindagi ki b h......Mai aisa koi decision nii lungi jisse aapko yaa kisi ko b aage jaake b koi problem ho...aur rahi baat haan kehne ki....to jaise aapne bina kuchh jaane haan keh dia...waise hi Sameer maine b hamesha aapki aankhon mei ek dard dekha h....aapki hnsi aapki aankhon tk nii jaati.....

Jaise aapko Nana jii aur Nani jii p sbse zada bharosa h...mujhe b h bas baat sirf ye the ki I couldn't say yes coz of mom and dad...agar mai haan keh deti...to aisa nii tha ki vo mana kr dete...but mai unpe koi pressure nii daalna chahti thi....I wanted that they should happily agree...isiliye maine kaha tha Nana ji ko ki mujhe is shaadi se koi problem nii h...bas mummy papa ki haan ho...aur......aapki b....

She softly holds his hands...and continued.....

They both stood there looking into each other's eyes....Both held a promise within their hearts to always be by each other's side and help to heal each other's sorrows and pain.......After some time...

Naina: Sameer...bahot raat ho gyi hai...aap b so jaiye...kl sangeet b h naa....aur aaj b aap thak gye honge poore din mei.....good night..

Naina was about to turn when Sameer held her hand, she turned to look at him...he had tears in his eyes....she got worried seeing him like that...

Naina: (panicking) Sameer kya hua? Aap ro kyun rahe hain? Dekhiye meri kisi b baat ka agar aapko bura laga ho to...mai...

But he cut her in between,

Sameer: (crying) Nii Naina....bas tumhara bharosa khud p dekh k ab mai apna dard apne andar aur nii chhupa skta....

Naina: To mt rakhiye naa...maine b to aapko sb kuchh bataya naa...aur aapne sb khule dil se suna bina mujhe judge kiye...To aap b ab apna dard mt chhupaiye.....aapka dil b halka ho jayega...

She held his hand and gave him an assuring nod....She knew he would need some time to open up...and she was ready to wait for him....to be with him....to comfort him........
