Naina stood frozen at her place....When Sameer continued....

Sameer: Naina....mai nii janta, when did I fall in love with you....lekin ehsaas us din hua....jb engagement k baad do din humaari baat nii hui...tumhe miss krra hu ye khud b samajh nii paya.....Rohan ki shaadi k baad se ekdum badal gaya tha....lekin ye change mere alawa sbko dikha.....Bas mujhe hi nii.....aur jb ehsaas hua to sbse pehle tumhe batana chahta tha....but....and I really wanted to make it special....

Naina....aaj mai tumhe promise krta hu ki tumhe hamesha khush rakhne ki koshish krunga.....chache koi b situation ho....mai tumhaare saath rahunga....dhoop mei chhaya aur baarish mei tumhaara umbrella banke (chuckling)....You know mai tumhaari tarah filmy nii hu....Maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki Raj ki tarah meri koi Simran hogi....lekin aaj, mujhe, is Sameer ki Naina mil gyi h....sb bilkul theek kehte the....ki tum hi ho jo mujhe smhaal skti ho.....Aur samajh b skti ho.....tumne mujhe waise smjha jaise kabhi kisi ne nii.....

Naina....mai koshish krunga ki tumhaare har dard ko mita sku.....hum saath milkar apni har puraani yaad ko peechhe chhod k ek naya kal banayenge....Ek saath....Ek doosre k liye....I promise you ki kabhi tumhe tumhaari family se dur nii krunga...tum hamesha meri priority rahogi aur mere liye tumhaari family meri apni hogi....jhoot nii kahunga ki unhe apni family jaisa treat krunga, Kyunki meri apni family kabhi thi hi nii...Nanu, Nani aur Munna Pandit k alawa...meri family ab bani h...Rohan se, Preeti Swati Amrita se aur ab mummy papa b h....isiliye mai tumhaari family ko apna maanunga...aur mere liye meri family, meri life, mera sb kuchh tum ho....Naina....I know humaari engagement ho gyi h aur kuchh hi dino mei shaadi h....but still I wanna ask you...will you marry me?

She could see the truthfulness in his eyes.....he meant his each and every word.....she couldn't believe it was all for real......it all seemed like a dream...a beautiful one though.....Sameer moved the ring he was holding in front of her...and she came back to her senses.....she gently moved her right hand in front of him. Her throat felt constricted due to the rush of so many emotions all together....she just bobbed her head vigorously.....and her words came out as a whisper....

Naina: (whispering) Yes I will....

He was really happy, he gently slid the ring in her finger and getting up gently held her face and wiped her tears....and then he moved his hands down her shoulders and holding her hands he brought her closer and kissed her forehead....both had their eyes closed....to feel the moment....it was indeed special....the most special moment of their lives...of course the day they met was also special...but that was a totally different thing....and this is a totally new experience.....they both stood in silence in the same position.....but tears were still flowing from her eyes carelessly....

He could never see tears in her eyes....even if they were of happiness....he gently moved back a little and keeping his hands near her ears...he moved closer to her and kissed her right eye first and moving a little down placed a kiss on her cheekbone and drank her tears......her breadth hitched.....the knot in her stomach became tight.....he then moved towards her left eye and placed a featherlight kiss on her eyes and then kissed her cheekbone there.....she has become a total mess with his sweet tortures.....her lips were quivering in anticipation....even she did not know, but it was still happening.....

Taking her in his arms again....Sameer mumbled softly.....

Sameer: Naina......mai kabhi tumhaari aankhon mei aansu nii dekh skta....chahe vo khushi k hi kyu naa ho.....tumhaare aansu mujhe bahot takleef dete hain....aisi takleef jise mai b define nii kr skta......I love you Naina....

She smiled seeing his love for her....finally her fairy tales were becoming real....with passing time she totally gave up on the idea of true love and Prince Charming......but today here he stood.....her Prince Charming....the answer to all her prayers....the one who would turn all the tears, she's shed in the past, into a blissful smile and fill the rest of her life with his love....but what if he too leaves her....what will she do?

As if Reading her thoughts...he softly said...

Sameer: Daro mt tumhe kabhi chhod k nii jaunga..jis din gaya vo meri life ka last day hoga....

As she heard this, she jerked up her head and put her hand on his lips....and moved her head in negation.....he slowly moved her hand from his lips and kissing it he again took her in a hug......They did not know themselves that for how long they stood in the same position.....

Sameer: Naina...mai to poori life tumhaare saath aise hi reh skta hun....lekin abhi bahot bhookh lagi h...chalo naa dinner kr lete hain.....

When she didn't move or say anything....he again said....in a babyish manner

Sameer: Chalo naa jaan....

Hearing jaan from him made her blush profusely.....she moved back, out of his embrace and kept looking at the ground.....he chuckled at her and then holding her hand took her to the nearby table....it was decorated with a bouquet of lilies and candles....he had arranged a candle light dinner for them.....

He moved the chair, for her to settle down and once she was comfortable...he went to the other side and brought the chair closer to her and sat next to her. He started to move the lids of the dishes kept on the table....and they were all her favourite dishes.....she's always loved Indo-Chinese food......the containers were filled with dishes like chilli paneer, noodles, fried rice, manchurian and also chilli potatoes and spring rolls. He started to serve for both of them.....but it felt like Naina was totally in daze....she just kept looking at him and Sameer could see her eyes brimming with happiness and love.....but still she hasn't confessed....maybe she needed a little more time....and he was ready to wait for her......

When he saw that she's still not eating anything.....he tugged at her hand, but she was just smiling at him. He sighed and taking the fork from her plate and taking some food in it, he brought it closer to her mouth and gestured at her, through his eyes, to eat. She slowly opened her mouth and took the bite. He smiled at her. He was about to take his fork, when she held his hand and taking the fork from him, she took it closer to his mouth and made him eat. This was the first time, they were actually feeding each other......both kept on looking at each other lovingly and feeding each other completed their dinner. After dinner, he opened another lid and in it had tiramisu cheesecake, which was her favourite dessert. Her face beamed seeing it, she was kind of surprised, as she's never told him about this....

Naina: Aapko kisne bataya ki mujhe ye cheesecake pasand h?

Sameer: Jaise tumhe pata chal jata h mere baare mei...

Saying this, he held out the spoon to her with the cake. She happily ate it and then fed him with the same spoon....His expressions changed to mischievous ones...

Sameer: Ummm Naina....ab ye cake aur b zada meetha lg raa h....aur waise b sb kehte hain ki jootha khaane se pyaar badhta h....

He winked at her and that's when she realised what exactly happened a moment ago....her eyes went down automatically as really felt shy....he really enjoyed when her cheeks became red, especially because of him.....he loved teasing her....and she couldn't help but blush at his teasings......

After their dinner....Sameer held out his hand to her and she held it with a smile....he took her to the centre....when a spot light fell on them....and the music started.....

The song conveyed all his feelings....and Naina was falling for him, unknown, even to herself....both were still swaying to the soft music in the background...she kept her head on his chest and he was holding her.....when thinking something Naina said....

Naina: Sameer....aapse ek baat poochhu?

Sameer: Hmm bolo naa....

Naina: Aapko bura laga kya?

He bent his head a little and looked at her with questioning eyes....

Sameer: Kis baat ka?

Naina: Aapne aaj apna love confess kia....but maine...

He held her more tightly and then said....

Sameer: Aur tum uska jawaab nii de paayi...yahi naa?

Naina just nodded against his chest and he smiled..

Sameer: Naina...har baar humein apni feelings ka answer mile it's not important naa....aur itna to mai b janta hun ki tumhaare mann mei kuchh to h...and it's ok tum apna time lo....to figure what you feel and how you feel....aur jahan tk baat bura lagne ki h to mujhe bilkul bura nii laga...kyunki tum saath ho, to utna bahot h mere liye and you can take jitna b time you want...but please bahot zada time mt le lena.....(whispering) vo kya h naa mai apni poori life tumhein dikhana chahta hu ki mai tumse kitna pyaar krta hun....

She again blushed and clung more to him.....and he let out a small laugh......

After spending some more time together, they left for Naina's house, as everyone decided to meet there after their respective plans....they reached there after a drive of 50 mins....and all the while he kept holding her hand and planting small kisses on it every now and then.....and all this was making her inner system a total mess.....when they reached the parking of her society, he came out first and then opened then door for her......she smiled and holding his hand....came out....they both went towards the lift and waited for their floor to arrive....as the door opened, before he could comprehend, Naina kissed his cheek tightly and ran from there....Sameer stood there in daze and his eyes turned into saucers and his hand automatically went on his cheek....this was the first time that she's kissed his cheek....this day was getting better and better.....

Naina couldn't believe that she did this....though it wasn't a big deal in this era to kiss your fiancé and that too on his cheek....but still it was all new and she really felt different at their newly evolving intimacy.....and she couldn't decipher her own feelings....but when Sameer mentioned that he knew, that even she felt something for him....it kind of dawned upon her as well, that she indeed feels something for him......And that's why she just kissed him and ran from there and came to her house and rang the bell....the door was opened by Preeti and she hugged her....

Seeing her expressions, Naina understood that Preeti knew what Sameer was planning.......Naina also hugged her back as even she was really happy.....they entered the house where everyone were already present.....and there in the lift, Sameer came back to his senses only when the elevator door was about to close and he came running, but till then Naina had already entered the house....he too came inside....on seeing him Naina was a little shocked and all the elders were engrossed in their own talks....that's when Rohan came to him and said whispering in his ears...

Rohan: Bhai mai maanta hu ki aaj tu date p gaya tha and bhabhi ko propose b kia...lekin andar aane k pehle apni shakal to dekh leta...bhai romantic hona achhi baat h....lekin mujhe nii pata tha ki tu Romeo Maheshwari h....(mockingly)

Sameer looked at him as he didn't know what his brother is trying to say...

Sameer: Abe pagal ho gaya b kya....kya bakwaas kiye jaa raa h?

Rohan took out his phone and turning on the front camera, showed it to Sameer...and Sameer's facial expressions changed immediately from that of irritation to shock....

There was a lipstick mark on his cheek...it was left when Naina kissed him....

Sameer took out his handkerchief immediately and cleaned his cheek...looking himself through the front camera....and that's when Nanu saw him...

Nanu: Sameer...

Sameer: J...ji...Jii Nanu....

Nanu: Kya hua? Face kyu saaf krra h?

Sameer: Ab...vo....vo Nanu...mai....

Rohan saw his brother stuttering badly and covered up for him....

Rohan: Umm...vo actually Nanu...bhai k face p kuchh laga h...Maine bataya to isiliye....saaf krre the...

Vivek: Haan to isme itna kya ghabra raa tha?

Sameer: Kuchh nii papa vo bas aise hi....

Vivek: Dono hi pata nii kya khichdi pakate rehte hain har waqt....to (turning towards Naina) Naina beta Tum kb ghr jaa rii ho?

Naina: Papa Jii ek do din mei...ye waale ghar ka kuchh smjh hi nii aa raa...

Vivek: Haan ye b h...lekin zada din ruk b nii skte naa...

Naina: Papa Jii actually meri assistant h Riya, use ghar chahiye rent p....she asked to mai soch rii thi ki agar aap kl dekh lete to mai...

Vishakha: Ye b koi kehne waali baat h kya beta....hum dekh lenge...don't worry....

Vivek: Haan mai kl hi sb background check wagerah kr leta hun to tum b parso nikal skti ho.....

Rama: Haan Kyunki 5th se shaadi ki rasmein shuru krni h...

Preeti: Haan aapki anniversary b h naa usi din?

Naina: Haan mummy papa ki anniversary usi din hoti h....

Nanu: Are waah...kya baat h...

Rakesh: Jii usi din Ganesh pooja ka mahurat h...socha katha b krwa denge....

Nani: Ye to bahot achha socha aapne...kaash hum b aa skte...lekin usi din ghar p rasmein b shuru krni h.....

Rama: Jii hum smjhte hain...aaplog to 8th ko aa jayenge naa?

Vishakha: Jii....9th ko sangeet h...to bas pehle hi aa jayenge....

Rakesh: Waise bhaisaab aaplog kb jaa re h Mumbai?

Vivek: Kl Rohan aur Preeti chale jayenge...Mummy Jii Papa Jii aur Sameer k saath....hum Naina k jaane tak rukenge...jis din vo jayegi..usi din hum b nikal jayenge.....

Rama and Rakesh nodded with a contended smile....they always felt blissful, seeing the love their daughter's in-laws showered on her.

They all kept talking for some time, whereas Naina and Sameer kept stealing glances of each other.....and around midnight all left from there...and Naina went to her room to sleep...but whenever she closed her eyes all the happenings from today came back to her....and she blushed profusely....

Sameer also couldn't sleep as he was really happy today....he wanted to make it special for her, but even though she didn't say those three magical words, her acceptance, made this day very special and actually the most special for him as well........they both drifted to sleep at the break of dawn....
