Note before we commence the story.

1. If a nag/naagin kills an innocent soul, they start to give out a weird smell so that it can alert the other nags/naagins that the particular nag/naagin has gone astray and they should steer clear of them.

2. Supernatural creatures can see the last person a deceased saw before they died.

3. A special supernatural creature can see what exactly happened if they close their eyes at the murder spot and invoke their powers.

4. No nag/naagin can attack a Cheel first. This rule was put in place by Garud Dev himself because Hriday and his gang murdered a lot of Cheels without cause while battling Akeshwari. The cheel weren't attacking but nags still killed them brutally. Garud Dev got really angry at how nags treated other supernatural creatures, specially his beloved Cheels. He put this rule in place post that. It is boon granted by him to his clan. 

5. Suicide is not appreciated. Nageshwari did kill herself deliberately to save her honor and her kull from people who could misuse her powers but the act put her powers in curse. Now, she needs to kill every single one of her enemies to unleash her full powers. She can only use a fraction of it.

However, there is no such rule as 'jinse usse mara, power uski', A person's power is their own. It is not some parcel that can transfer. Yes, there are ways that involve dark magic but no, no one can simply kill adi naagin to claim her powers. There are rituals and dark powers that are needed.

6. Hriday died as adi naag. Nageshwari never officially rejected Hriday as her saathi and removed his claim on powers or mated with Akesh. Thus, Hriday had some Adi Nag's powers. The rest can be gained only after mating with her. Jai is also born with same powers.

7. Only the elders of naglok know the true story of Hriday and Akeshwari. The scriptures are also with royals of supernatural realms or with pundits. Thus, what happened is not in wide knowledge.
