Veeranshu Singhania had had a lot of sleepless nights. It hurts to see the one you love sad and lost. It is even worse when the situation is out of your hands and you can do nothing to help them. Veer's condition was the same. He was seeing his sweetheart slowly wither away like a winter rose but he felt clueless on how to help her. It had been thirteen days. He was glad she spoke to him today, even if it was so less. He was even more happy to know that that she was willing to try from tomorrow. He was going to suggest Meera that the family takes a getaway trip with Bani, maybe a change of scene would be better for her. Or, she could come live with them at SM for a while. He wasn't hoping for it for any of his romantic intention, he truly felt that Bani will find it tough to get past the horror if she stays in the house that has so many memories of her parents. His internal monologue was broken when he got a call from his friend, Nikhil.

N: Veer bhai!

V: Bol Nikhil

N: Listen, my sister is at your club partying today..

V: kuch hua hai kya, you need help?

N: No, my mother just video called her to see if she was fine. You know how worried and protective parents can get..

V: Tu ye sb mujhe kyu bata raha hai? And, if you don't mind, can we please talk later, I am busy..

N: Wait Veer...I called you because during the video call I saw a girl behind her. She was the same girl you bought at the summit, I am sure. She didn't look fine so I thought I should check in with you..

V: What?...Much appreciated Nikhil. I will hang up now.

Veer quickly ended the call and left for his club. He entered and saw that it was really busy that day. He looked around for Bani but didn't see her.

V: Thank god! Nikhil ko galatfahmi hui hogi...

Just as he was about to go, he heard a hooting sound and turned to see the cause of it. What he saw next, really shocked him to his core.

His sweetheart, Bani was standing on the bar in a black skater dress with silver chain straps.

Her footwear was missing and her hair was messy. She was dancing with her hands in the air. A group of men surrounded and cheered her, no doubt getting closer to peep through her skirt. Veer clenched his jaw, feeling really angry. He marched towards her and pulled her down.

V: Sweetheart?!

B: Veeranshu?!...hey...hey everyone! (to the crowd) this is Veeranshu...(she patted his head) say hi, good boy!

V: I am not a dog Bani..

B: Hmm..whatever!..

She continued to dance and Veer stood nearby, protective. Maybe she needed alcohol to flush out her pain. He looked around and glared at people who seemed trouble. Out from the corner of her eyes, Bani smirked.

B: (thinks: Just wait and watch Veeranshu, I will insult you so much today aur tumhe gussa ayega phir tum mujhpr haath uthaye bina rahoge nahi and I will revenge my parents)

She danced seductively. Veer was getting annoyed and turned on at the same time. He wasn't some old school man who would mind girls having fun or letting lose but he could see Bani wasn't in the condition to take care of herself so he stayed close. Bani was swaying with the music. A man tried to get closer to Bani. Veer pushed him away. Bani pulled the man back and took the drink he had in his hand. She emptied it on Veeranshu's head.

The whole club got silent and gasped. Everyone was aware of Veeranshu and his temper. Those who were new also understood the graveness of the situation judging by the looks of worry on others' faces. Bani, however, continued to mock him. She sat on a stool and laughed at him. Veer looked around and wiped his face. He started to take Bani away.

B: No!!!!...I won't go anywhere with you..nope!...I want to dance.

She threw a few things here and there. Veer lifted her up in his arms and left the club.

Jai: Mayuri? Everything is delivered to the people?

M: yes!

J: Good, ab Veer us Bani ko chor dega ya phir haath uthayega.....ab uske baad agr vo usse na bhi maare toh mere saathi ko attack krne ke reason se mai uspr attack kr skta hoon..

M: saathi?

J: Tum gadhi ho ya Morni...I told you that I am the adi nag..she never officially rejected me or accepted Akesh, thus, I am still her saathi till she mates another..

M: haan haan thik hai...tumhe kabhi aise usse saathi kehte nahi suna isliye shocked thi..

J: shock to uss cheel ko lagega, vo bhi bada wala..humne kaam hi aisa kiya

Flashback

Mayuri was recording an audio. Mandakini had turned her voice to sound like Bani's and Jai was talking in a different manly voice.

J: Yes baby (grunts) you are so damn sexy...

M: and I am all yours my love...for tonight..

They both moaned a lot. Mayuri tried to hush down a laugh at how funny all this was to watch. Jai gave her a look and she sobered up. Soon the audio was done.

Mandakini: I hope that was it Jai, I am already feeling awkward because of all that you made me do.

Mayuri: Chill aunty, we know nothing happened and jinko galat lgna chahiye, unhe bohot galat lgne wala hai..

Jai: akhir plan kiska tha (smirks)

Mayuri: self-obsessed (she muttered and rolled her eyes)

Veer was walking with Bani in his arms.

V: kya hua? Ab nacho..wahan to bada kamli kamli kr rahi thi?

B: shut up! (thinks: isko maine sbke samne tang kiya, isne mujhe thappad kyu nahi mara)

V: (thinks: iske mu se smell to nahi aa rahi alcohol ki, pr ye pretend kyu kregi?Kahin kissi ne isse koi drug mix krke toh nahi de diya?)

Veer put Bani in his car and began to drive away. He thought that it is late and he should probably avoid taking her home in this condition. He texts Meera that Bani is with him and to cover up for her. That is when Meera realized Bani wasn't home at this late hour. She thanked Veer, knowing he would take care of her.

The entire way home, Bani irritated Veer. She would poke him, make mess of the things in the dashboard and be unreasonable. To her surprise, Veer was extremely patient with her and when things go too much; he simple pulled her with one hand and snaked one arm around her neck. He drove to his farmhouse.

Bani was taken aback when Veer pulled her. She breathed in his manly scent and it calmed her down. She hated that he had so much affect on her. She couldn't truly hate him despite his crimes. She wanted to cry at her fate. The only person she wanted to love had snatched away her loved ones' lives. How can she let go of this? Her mind and heart were at war, she felt emotionally drained. She wanted to rant to the lord about her fate. At that moment, she felt like she wanted to die as she realized she probably will never be able to hurt Veer and at the same time she wouldn't be able to let go for the image of her parents' brutal murder.

Bani was so emotionally drained by the recent events in her life. Fatigue took over her body and she slept like a baby. Veer looked at her with sad eyes, love shining through them. His phone rang, it was Daksh.

D: Bhai, aap kahan ho?

V: Kya hua?

D: Bhai urgent hai..

V: Farmhouse...kya hua..

D: Mai aa raha hoon..

Daksh flew into the farmhouse, Veer was waiting in the hall for him.

V: Kya hua Daksh?

D: Bhai, ye dekhiye..

What Veer saw next pierced his heart. A man with an invincible heart felt weak on his knees. He sank to the floor. There were pictures of Bani getting intimate with multiple men, none of whom he knew.

V: Ye kahan se mille...

D: Ponky heard a noise and looked out. His eyes saw someone keep a parcel at our front door. He thinks it could be a woman. Wait, it is his call.... (picks up) haan....okay..farmhouse hoon, bhai hai yahan..

V: Kya hua?

D: bhai, photos to bohot thi aur ek audio bhi tha..Ponky took some photos and the audio clip to check them with a trusted friend. I came to you with the remaining pics.

V: And..

D: They ran the tests bhai, these aren't fake.

A lone tear escaped his eyes as he felt his soul tear apart. Somewhere in the Mathur Villa, a trio was sipping wine and chuckling.

Ponky arrived to see his brother in the heartbroken condition. Both the brothers were sad to see their bhai so broken. After a while Veer spoke.

V: Kissi aur ne ye pics dekhe?

P: Nahi bhai...we picked all the parcels before anyone saw them.

V: All?

D: Bhai hr ek member ke naam ek parcel tha..

Veer frowned at this and asked for the audio.

P: It will be too painful for you.

And truly, it was painful, it was the sound of Bani moaning while the man gave her pleasure. He commented on her body, talking about her intimate parts. She talked dirty to the man and their moans where clear in the audio.

V: What that?!

D: Bhai choriye na...hume dukh ho raha hai toh apka kya haal hoga?..Maine kbhi nahi sochta tha bha- Bani apke sath aisa karegi...

P: Haan bhai...hum toh unke baare me baat bhi bhabhi bolkr krte they...we truly considered her family but she-

V: Wait Ponky..Daksh..replay..bs 5 sec peeche and tum bhi dhyan se sunna..

They replayed it but found nothing odd but when Veer made them hear closely, there it was, a small laugh and a man saying 'shh' softly.

V: see, ye audio Bani aur koi admi ka hai toh peeche ye hasa kon and usse chup kyu karwaya?...agr koi mera well-wisher hai bhi to photos mujhe bhejega...iss tarah family ke hr ek member ko bhejna mtlb the person wants Bani to be embarrassed. Ponky, go check her house, kahin wahan bhi na bheja ho...

Ponky nodded and left.

V: Aur daksh in pictures ko dekhna...itni pass se aisi-aisi position me li hai jaise koi photo shoot ho...mltb koi teesra click kr raha tha...all this looks so staged.

D: Makes sense Bhai...

V: For now, keep this between us till I find out what is wrong. Someone out there is wanting to ruin Bani. Her parents were murdered and now this! We need to find out the whole truth. Even if she is wrong, which I don't she is, let me understand the whole picture.

...........The  next day; morning...........

Jai stormed inside his house wearing a milkman's attire.

M: Arey waah! Dhabbewala bana doodhwala?!

Mayuri giggled. Jai glared at her and held her by her throat.

J: Mai mazak ke mood me nahi hoon Morni.

Mayuri clawed his hands away.

M: Apni had me reh nag wrna tera breakfast bana lungi...ab bol itna bhadka hua kyu hai?

J: Mai gaya tha roop badalkr SM, wahan ka mausam dekhne!

M: Oooh~..koi toofan aya?

J: Patta bhi nahi hilla!

M: Whaaaaaaaaat?

J: Haan kissi ne parcel to pick kiya hai pr hungama nahi hua...aur toh aur jb mai andr gaya thoda aur pata krne to maine ussi cheel ki maa ko bolte hue suna ki Bani aur Veer ki shaadi ki baat krni chahiye

M: Kya? Phir?

J: Phir kya? Vo Veer ka bhai, jiski janwaro wali naak hai...chillane laga ghar me nag hai aur mujhe bhagna pada..

M: They can smell you? How?

Mandakini: (coming with their morning coffee) Because you killed an innocent which is a crime so you lost your powers to hide your scent.

She kept the mugs and left.

M: Well shit! We need a cure for this..

J: Yes!...ugh..lekin hum un dono ki shaadi nahi hone de skte...agr unka saath ban gaya toh Adi naagin ke saathi ki shaktiyan Veer ko challi jayengi aur mai jin shaktiyon ke saath hoon..vo bhi chali jayengi...mai ek aam naag ban jaunga...nahi nahi!

M: Ab?

J: There is only one way!

Meera came into the house.

M: Veer! Veeranshu! ..

T: Kya hua Meera, Veer ko kyu dhoond rahi ho?

M: Urgent hai..

Veer rushed downstairs and so did the rest of the family hearing the commotion.

V: Kya hua bhabhi? Bani thik hai na? Subah ghar drop kiya tha tb to thik hi lg rahi thi..

M: Nahi vo baat nahi hai, uske liye rishta aya hai and maa seriously consider kr rahi hai..

V:WHAT?!

D: Abhi? Aise time me?

M: Unhone kaha ki Bani ko life me age bhadna hoga...ghar me rahegi toh she will be stuck on what happened. Roz apne parents ke room ko dekhti hai aur mayus ho jaati hai...Ek naya phase start kregi to move on krne me help hogi...plus rishta acche ghar ka hai so she is thinking ki haath se naa jaane dein..

Ch: Maine aaj ki kaha tha apse ki Mahesh ji se baat kr lo Veer aur Bani ke rishte ko lekr....pr aap toh aisa dheemi gati ka samachar ho na...

B: Mujhe lga abhi din hi kitne hue hai, aisi baat krna.. (Balwant felt bad for Veer and was scared of Chandrakala)

V: Kiska rishta hai? And Bani ne kya kaha?

M: Bani ki taraf se maa ne hi haan krne ka man bana hi liya hai...waise abhi baat chal rahi hai...Bani toh emotionless baithi hai...mai bhaagkr yahan aa gayi batane...koi Jai Mathur hai..

V: What? Iss dhabewala ka game toh bajana hi padega..

Veer reached the Sharma household to see Bani sitting quietly while Jai was trying to talk to her. Ritu was engaging in talks with Mandakini and Mahesh was sitting with a frown on his face.

J: Bani, I am so sorry. I know I didn't have a good first impression. Actually I was so drunk. That is no excuse to treat a woman though. Please, give me a chance..

R: Kya khusur-pusur kr rahe ho beta?

J: kuch nahi aunty ji vo pooch raha tha if she is happy with this?

B: (thinks) jhutta!

R: Beta aapko bataya tha na maine she went through a lot of pain but ab life hai, aage bhadna hi padega..aap chinta mt kro...she is very good.

V: (barges inside) Meri zara si nazar kya hati, tumne toh itna bada jhol kr diya sweetheart.

J: Oye! Meri fiancé se aise baat mt kr..

V: Chal hatt...beech me mt bol dhabewale..

R: Veer beta! Aap Bani ke dost ho pr aise mt kro, Bani ke rishte ki baat hai..

V: Aap ye rishta kyu kr rahi hain?

Mandakini: Kyu mtlb? Bal vivah thodi hai...ladki ki umar ho gayi hai, hume pasand hai..

V: With all due respect, please shut up aunty.

J: saale meri mas-

V: With no respect, shut up dhabewale!...(cups Bani's face) you tell me sweetheart, are you okay with this?

Bani just looked at him blankly.

V: (thinks) Iska state of mind abhi tk clear nahi hai aur ye log hai ki apni soch se kuch bhi kr rahe hai.....

V: (to Ritu) aunty aisi bhi kya jldi hai...look at her...she is clearly not ready..

R: Veer tum yaha akr rishta bigar rahe ho...I can decide for Bani, chachi hoon mai iski...bura nahi chahungi..

Mayank: Maa bura toh aap Meera di ka bhi nahi chahti thi..pr us sunar se jo rishta krne ki jldi baazi kr rahi thi, vo galat tha...accha hua Tapish jiju interrupted and aaj di khush hai..

R: Kehna kya chahta hai tu?

Mahesh: iska mtlb hai ki tum bohot hyper ho...iss case me bhi wahi kr rahi ho..ek rishta accha lg raha hai toh best dekh nahi paa rahe...

R: Kya mtlb?

Mayank: Mtlb when you are getting gold, why go for tamba!

He winked at Veer and he blushed.

V(thinks) sala bohot tez hai...isse bhi pata hai..

J: Mai itni insult nahi sahoonga...Bani, kl hum roke ke liye ayenge...mujhe tum pasand ho..

V: Toh kisne kaha hai sehne ko..jaa na yahan se aur Bani ko apne dimag se nikal de

J: No! Cheap..Bani to mere dil me hai

V: Abey cheapard, dil, gurda, fefda sb cheer dunga agr doobara Bani ka naam bhi liya toh

Mandakini: Hum ladke wale hai, aise kaise ye ladka ayega aur kuch bhi kehne lagega..

Mahesh: Jai, Bani ne toh haan kaha bhi nahi aur tum itne aggressive bhi ho gaye..

Veer kneels before Bani and kisses her forehead. Jai moved to hit him but he twists his hands away.

V: Ritu aunty, Aap Bani ka rishta isliye kr rahi hai na kyunki aapko lgta hai she needs to move on.

Ritu nodded.

V: Toh aap mujhse kr do..I know it is not traditional. My parents should have approached you..

R: What? But-

V: But what aunty? You want a well settled boy? I am well settled. Mai Bani ko bohot khush rakhunga...khud jal kr bhi uska jahan roshan kr dunga...aap usey mujhse alag mt kijiye...shaadi hi krni hai toh isse kyu? Mai toh aapka itne din se dekha-parkha hoon..Meera bhi ussi ghar me hai..

Ritu turned to see Bani. She was staring at Veer with tears in her eyes. Ritu knew he must have felt something for her to be so caring about her all these days but seeing Bani like this, she started to recall how Bani always showed emotions around him. She realized he is the best match for her.

R: I don't mind beta. Rishta pakka..

M: AAP YE KAISE KR SKTI HAI? HUM BAAT KR RAHE THEY, YE BEECH ME AYA AUR APNE HAAN KR DI?

R: AREY CHUP! MERE GHAR ME MUJHPR HI CHILLA RAHI HAI...MAINE HAAN KB KAHA??? (calms down) aur to aur meri marzi, baachi meri, ghar mera...aap thalli bajane wale kon? ...maine bulaya tha kya? Aap khud aye they na...aur insult kafi hai itni toh aap jaiye...

Jai and Mandakini left. In the car, Jai started to hyperventilate.

J: Masi, nahi...shit shit shit!...inka rishta kyun pakka ho gaya...ye adi naagin hi hai na..pagal, isne dekha bhi tha apni maa ki ankhon me?...aur us Veer ko vo parcel nahi milla kya...ugh!!!!!...Dono ek doosre ke against kyu nahi gaye...nahi mujhe inki shaadi hone se rokna hoga..

M: Shant beta...hum kuch sochte hai..

The Sharma household was full of cheer. Chandrakala made Bani wear some bangles.

Ch: Ye Veer ki dadi ne apni pota-bahu ke liye chode they..

Bani looked at them and smiled. Everyone was congratulating Veer who had an ear-splitting grin permanently plastered on his face. Daksh, Ponky and Mayank were teasing him. His happiness was beyond words.

V: (thinks) I know the timing is not ideal but I will be the ideal person for you..

B: (thinks) ye Veer ki dadi ne apni pota-bahu ke liye chode they...kash humara rishta waisa hota...lekin tum mere maa-baap ke qatil ho...aur mai tumse ye shaadi krke tumse badla lungi...meri parents ko tadpa ke mara tha na tumne...ab tum roz thoda thoda marogo....pr kya mai ye kr paungi...tumhe dukhi dekhne ka khayal bhi mujhe maut jaisa lgta hai...mai kya karu Bholenath...mai andr se tute jaa rahi hoon..

She stands next to her parents' picture and adjusted the garland around the frame.

B: (thinks) Mai kehti toh hoon ki mai badla lungi...pr ye jaante hue bhi that he killed you, why can I not hate him completely? Why does my heart want to trust him? Why maa.??..

A hand wiped a lone tear that had escaped without her notice. She looked up to see Veer. She only saw care and love in his eyes. This confused her.

B: (thinks) No one can act this well, what if you are innocent? But I saw for myself! Kahin? No that is not possible pr kahin vo Hriday bhi mere aas pass hua aur ye uski chaal hui toh? Nahi ye sb kaise ho skta hai? Hriday se toh mai abhi tk milli bhi nahi hoon...pata nahi vo is life me kon hai..

Unconsciously, she leaned into his hand and hugged him. Her body craved the touch that her mind didn't let her have. It was like her heart knew Veer can never be wrong but her emotional state of mind was clouding her judgement.

Veer is a sharp man, isn't he? He can smell a rat but will he be able to realize Bani' state of mind as well? Speaking of Bani, she is finally recovering from her initial shock of her parents' death and beginning to see reason. For her, she suddenly lost both her parents and just felt intense pain and then shock. She felt anger for the person who killed her parents and made her an orphan. Sadly, the target was Veer. But now, as her initial shock is wearing off, she is beginning to think deeper and with a clear head. Do you think she will be able to unveil the whole truth?

Now, talking about the upside:- Their marriage is fixed! Veer ne Jai aur Bani ka roka rok diya! Dhabewale ka plan hua flop and uski jldibazi ke chakkr me Vani ka rishta pakka ho gaya...
