Bani closed her eyes and whispered 'Jai Bholenath!' She started to count till ten, praying for Veer. The rest of the family was waiting outside for Bani to give them some good news. Bani opened her eyes and tears dropped onto Veer's face. He was still blue and pale. His breathing was getting slower. The situation made Bani realize that probably likes Veer way more than she knows. She recalled she was the Adi Naagin, a very deadly Naagin. 'This is the only way', she thought. She prayed to her lord and invoked her powers. She opened her red, naagin ones.

'Please be okay Veeranshu' she whispered against his face and transferred her poison into his body. She hoped that her poison can fight off nagfani's poison. She observed Veer's face to see if he was getting better. She was losing hope when she heard the most beautiful sound, his beating heart.

Veer opened his eyes to see Bani's face. She was way too close to him, not that he would mind. Her eyes were teary and she looked really worried. His heard broke seeing her distress but he also felt happy to see that she cared this much about him.

B: Are you okay? Tum thik ho na?

V: agr meri Sweetheart mujhe mara samaj kr mujhe akhri goodbye kiss de rahi ho to mai thik kaise ho skta hoon?

B: shut up Veer!..hum sbki sanse atak gayi thi aur tumhe mazak sujh raha hai..

She wiped her tears and hugged his chest. She complained how tough it was seeing him like this. Veer's heart swelled. He was sure she felt for him as well.

A knock broke their mini-reunion. Bani realized the panicked family was still outside. She bought them in. They all became really happy to see Veer fit and alive. They thanked Bani and Chandrakala hugged her crying, grateful for her son's life.

'WHAT THE HELL? YE KAISE HUA?' Screamed Jai

M: Chillao mt...and mujhe kaise pata..mai to room me thi na..

J: to pata karo...ho na ho Bani ne apna zeher dekr usse bachaya hai..mtlb vo jaanti hai ki vo adinaagin hai!...lekin kya vo satyug ki gatha jaanti hai?

M: mujhe kaise pata hoga..tum apni masi se poocho na...Adi naagin agr mandir lauti to tumari Masi ko to pata hoga na..

J: hmm...you are not totally useless...good idea!

He cut the phone.

M: is loser ne mujhe useless bolla...ugh!!!

Meera's mooh dikhai was happening in the hall. The family was busy. Bani decided to skip it and stay with Veer. By now, everyone sensed their equation and nobody forced her to leave his side. She fed him some soup and Veer showed her his childhood collection of model cars. They played a few games of chess and she made sure he was fine. Bani went to keep the utensils out and noticed that the function has ended and everyone had gone to their rooms. Veer had also dozed off so she switched off the lights and pulled his covers properly. She smiled at his sleeping form.

B: tumhe dekhr kon kahega tum wahi flirty bad boy ho...sote hue to bilkul prince charming lgte ho..

She left and was going towards her room when Chandrakala stopped her on her way out.

Ch: Veer toh soup pee chuka, pr mujhe text aya tha uska ki tumhe yaad se khila doon...aao..

B: nahi aunty vo-

Ch: shh...mai tumhari maa jaise hi hoon and yahan ho toh meri baat manni hi padega.. tum fresh ho jao...mai aati hoon..

Bani nodded and freshened up. She came out wearing a peach night suit. A house help entered with a tray and placed the food on the table. Chandrakala came with an album in hand.

B: ye kya hai aunty?

Ch: Veer ki bachpan ki photo album...aaj jo hua uske baad isse dekhne ka bada man kr raha tha..

Bani understood a mother's heart and hugged her to calm her down. Chandrakala smiled and asked her to eat. While Bani ate, she showed him his childhood pictures. There were pictures of Veer with his family, with his brothers, friends and many with him just goofing around.

Ch: It was when we visited a park. So many people asked me to give him to them so that they can play with him for a while. Aur ye badmash humesha females ki godi hi jaata tha..

B: bachpan se flirty..(laughs)

Ch: shyd..(laughs too)

She kept sharing stories and they laughed.

Ch: ye dekho...ye uske school ke bahar ki h...he was put in green house and he created a chaos saying he will only be put in black house. Ab school me black house thodi hota h..

They laughed. Bani flipped through numerous photos and found him too cute.

V: toh ye ho raha hai?

Ch: Veer? Tu soya nahi? ..

V: so gaya tha...neend khul gayi toh socha yaha aa jaun...bore ho raha tha...accha hua aa gaya, pata to chala meri maa meri embarrassing childhood stories ka khazana lekr ghoomti hai..

B: kuch bhi Veer..

Chandrakala excused herself and left after asking his health.

B: tum room chalo, rest karo...mai aati hoon tumhare pass

V: nahi, mai thik hoon..

Bani was sitting on the bed; Veer came and laid on her lap.

V: thik to hai na?

B: hmm...(she rubs fingers through her hair)

V: accha lg raha hai..

Vani engaged in a conversation and slowly, Veer drifted back to sleep.

B: (thinks: ye to so gaya, mujhe to mandir jaana tha un visions ke baare me poori baat jaane...lekin abhi uthi to iski neend disturb ho jayegi...koi na..kl chali jaungi)

She laid her head back on the back and slept. Mayuri, who was passing by after finding Veer's bed empty saw this. She quickly clicked a picture and sent to Jai with the message 'solid khichri pak rahi hai'

Mayuri woke up to a call from Jai.

M: Jai? Tum sote nahi ho kya? Ya aaj plan flop hone ke gum me nahi soye ho?

J: chup raho...Meri masi ne kaha ki koi Adi Naagin nahi aayi hai mandir mtlb Bani agr adi naagin hai to usse abhi nahi pata poori baat...maybe she only knows ki vo ek naagin hai..

M: (yawns) accha ab?

J: your picture shows that they are becoming close. Agr Bani aur Veer ka Milan ho gaya toh meri jo Adi nag ki shaktiyan hai, vo chali jayengi kyunki mai uska unofficial saathi bhi nahi rahunga...hume unke beech misunderstandings create krni hai...phir mauka dekhr pehle Veer ko maar denge and then Bani..

M: accha, aur plan?

J: vo mai soch raha hoon..

He ended the call.

M: isse khud hi sb sochna tha toh mujhe kyu call kiya...subah bata deta...bewakoof!

The sun peeped through the window of Bani's temporary room at the Singhania house. Veer woke up first, well rested. He felt like he had the best nights' sleep when he noticed Bani, asleep against the head board.

V: mai poori raat iski god me sota raha aur ye hilli bhi nahi? iska neck stiff ho gaya hoga..

Veer got up and arranged Bani properly in her bed. The moment the soft pillow hit Bani's head, she snuggles deeper and relaxed. Veer felt apologetic and left. He got ready and joined the family at breakfast table. He told them to let Bani sleep and she didn't sleep well taking care of him. They tried to tease her but were being discreet as Meera was also there. Meera understood by the way everyone was teasing Veer that he had feelings for Bani. She frowned and was slightly upset.

Bani woke up a while later and saw a breakfast tray on her table with a note.

Don't be mad, I asked no one to disturb your sleep. It was much needed. Out for a while, see you soon. Don't miss breakfast.

Bani smiled at his caring ways. She ate and got ready. She thought that there was still time left till lunch and it was a good opportunity. She texted her sister that she was going out for a while so that no one searches her if she is not in the room and slithered outside, towards the temple.
