Bakugou was right, Sero was occasionally glancing in Todoroki and [L/n]'s direction. He wasn't sure why, but then again, he figured it was curiosity. He noticed, though, that the Dekusquad seemed to be glancing in their direction as well, most likely because Todoroki was having a genuine conversation with another human being. He couldn't quite tell what they were talking about, and once he realized he was actually trying to, he looked back to his food and shoved more soba in his mouth.

"Serobro, you know you can just walk up to them if you want to get involved in the convo, right?" Kaminari brought up, placing a hand on the boys back.

"I'm not just gonna put myself in their conversation, it's none of my business anyways." He responded, taking the final bite of his food.

"But you're obviously curious!" Ashido piped up.

"So? Doesn't mean it's any of my business."

"You all are so annoying!" Bakugou barked.

"Hey, hey, Bakubro, you're involved in this just as much as we are." Kirishima spoke, placing a hand on the angry boys shoulder. "You even added on about Sero looking in their direction."

"It's just ridiculous that you're paying so much attention to someone who scares you, Soy Sauce."

"Like Midoriya pays attention to you?" Sero fired back.

"Whoa!" Kirishima, Kaminari, and Ashido.

"What'd you say to me!?" Bakugou slammed his hands on the table and prepared to lunge at Sero. "It's not my fault the damn nerd is like that!"

From a table away, Midoriya sweat dropped. I'm not sure I wanna know.

"And it's not my fault she's terrifyingly attractive!" Sero fired, slamming his own palms on the table and standing up. The three other members of the Bakusquad were in shock, Sero was never one to act this way, and was most definitely never one to engage with Bakugou.

"I mean c'mon dude, she floored you, of all people!" All of Class 1-A was watching, all but two. Shoto Todoroki and [F/n] [L/n] weren't present. "How can I not find that to be terrifyingly attractive!?"

"Get your sight checked or some shit, Soy Sauce! And don't you DARE keep bringing that up!" Bakugou's palms were sparking, the boy close to actually fighting Sero.

"What!? Are you that much of a sore loser!? You put yourself in this, Bakugou! If you didn't wanna be in it, you could'a stayed quiet!" Sero wasn't himself at the moment, he himself didn't even know why he was so upset and genuinely engaging with Bakugou. He was typically laid back and funny, not the one engaging in fights and hurling insults. Kaminari being an exception.

"Hey bros, I think you need to calm down." Kirishima spoke up, standing up and placing himself between the two, hoping to diffuse the situation. Kaminari, while silent, stood with him.

"Calm down!? All of a sudden Soy Sauce here thinks he has the right to challenge me and bring up shit! Last I checked, your fight wasn't even a fight, it was all one-sided! And don't get me started on inserting my own thoughts, because I have the right to do so!"

Just as the two were about to lunge at one another, disregarding the Kirishima and Kaminari that stood between them, a wave of intense heat and freezing cold washed through the entirety of the cafeteria.

Looking towards one of the entryways to the cafeteria, the students saw that half of the doorway was burnt, while the other half was covered in ice. Then everyone's eyes landed on [L/n] and Todoroki. The girl had one hand placed on the boys side, both seemed to be extremely out of breath.

"Not my best idea." Todoroki breathed, falling backwards at the excessive use of both of his Quirks at the same time. [L/n] managed to catch him, but was so exhausted herself that she fell to her knees with the duo-temperatured boy in her arms, half of her own body cold, the other hot.

"Todoroki!?" Midoriya, Iida, Uraraka, and Asui all rushed in the direction of the two students, soon followed up by Sero, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Ashido, Bakugou still standing with sparks in his palms.

"Sorry guys." [L/n] breathed heavily. "Todoroki wanted to know what it would feel like... To have both of his Quirks at full at the same time.. So after explaining to me what his body went through in order to use his Quirks... Well, I'm pretty sure you know."

Midoriya reached to help Todoroki, but the boys body was extremely hot and cold to the touch, depending on where he reached. I guess Todoroki's body isn't yet able to handle both of his his Quirks at full like that.

"Wait, I think everyone's ignoring the fact that [L/n] can forcefully activate people's Quirks." Hagakure added on, the class just now realizing that.

Sero and Bakugou, despite their prior argument, looked at each other knowingly. Because the temperature wave that Todoroki's body went through, they knew she experienced herself.

"What's going on in here?" Aizawa asked, walking in through another doorway and seeing the scene before him.

"[L/n] was helping Todoroki do something with his Quirk, and it looks like it affected both of them." Iida informed. The teacher looked at the two students, but then to another pair that he realized seemed very tense: Sero and Bakugou. It was strange, even to Aizawa, to feel tense air around those particular two.

"Okay, two of you, get them to Recovery Girl's office." Aizawa stated, shoving his hands in his pockets. "And Sero, Bakugou, I don't know what went on between the two of you, but it's over now. There's enough tension between Midoriya and Bakugou for the whole class. We don't need anymore problematic relationships."

"Tch." Bakugou just looked away, and went back to eating his lunch. While Bakugou seemed dismissive over the situation, Sero felt guilty.

"Hey, cheer up Sero." Kaminari tried encouraging. "It was just an argument, nothing to worry about. Now go, I'm sure you want to take her." The blonde's grin cheered him up and he managed to grin back.

"Yeah, you're right!" With his signature grin, Sero went over and watched as Midoriya lifted Todoroki up and off of [L/n], then he proceeded to pick her up himself.

"You know, Sero, I should be able to walk on my own." [L/n] informed as Sero walked with her, holding her bridal style.

"Pfft, like I'm passing up the chance to escort you to Recovery Girl. You, a student who got in by recommendation and," he paused, looking around to make sure there was no one else around them, "Kicked Bakugou's ass."

"You really like hyping me up, don't you?" She laughed.

"Who wouldn't like hyping up a powerful, smart, beautiful girl?" Sero's face immediately turned red as he realized what he had said. "Uh-"

"Are you hitting on me, Tape Despenser?" [L/n] asked, raising an eyebrow suspiciously at the boy carrying her.

"Nooo, I'm just saying you're pretty hot, talented, and fun to hang out with. I would know, we hung out after the Sports Festival." He spoke slyly, narrowing his eyes and giving her a smirk-like-grin.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were hinting at something." [L/n] prompted, not caring that Sero wasn't even walking to the Nurses Office anymore. After all, not like Recovery Girl could do anything for her anyways, they both knew that.

"Well, if I were hinting at anything, which I totally am not, what would you think it would be?" Sero asked, raising an eyebrow of his own.

"Well, personally, I would think you were hinting at hanging out again. But of course, you aren't hinting at anything." She replied, both of them playing along.

"And if I were hinting at that, what would your response be?" Sero proposed, looking down at the girl in his arms, realizing just how much of a simp he was becoming.

"Well, if the guy I think is pretty cool, funny, laid-back, and possibly a stoner, was asking to hang out, I would say yes." [L/n] replied honestly.

"Well, then this cool, funny, laid-back, possible stoner is asking if you'd like to hang out."

The two started laughing, both with bright smiles on their faces.

"Anyways, how are feeling, Katy Perry?" Sero asked, the girl laughing even harder.

"That was a good one, Office Depot."

"Pfft-"

"For real though, how are you feeling? I know Todoroki's fire and ice had to have quite the effect on you." Sero stated a bit more seriously, wanting to make sure that his friend was okay.

"Well, the left half of my body still feels hot, and the right still cold, but I'm guessing it's only on the inside because you don't seem to have any reaction to carrying me." [L/n] answered honestly.

"Yeah, I don't feel a difference in your temperature at all." Sero added, "But I guess we should get back to class now. Lunch ended already, so we're pretty late as it is." He laughed.

The [h/c] haired girl sighed with a bit of a laugh. "I'm starting the school year late, and now I'm late to class."

Sero carried the girl to class, insisting that she should let him continue to do so, and the two students carried on with their day as normal.

As the school day came to a close, however, Aizawa stopped [L/n] from leaving his room. The teacher noticed how the group of Kaminari, Sero, and Ashido all seemed to stop outside his door once they realized she wasn't leaving yet. Kirishima too, had stopped, but when he and the girl made eye contact, his face reddened and he walked off with Bakugou.

"[L/n], now that you're in the Hero Course here at UA, and you're about to start your internships next week, you're lacking two very important things: a hero costume and a hero name. And you do need both in order to participate in your internship." The teacher informed, the girl gulping.

I have no idea, for either of those! [L/n] pondered for a minute, trying to at least think of a hero name for herself. Then, she recalled something a certain someone had called her.

"I'll work on designing the hero costume tonight, but I know what I want my hero name to be!" She beamed brightly, Aizawa merely blinking as he waited for her to tell him.

"The Control Hero: Marionette!"

Sero busted a wide smile, a smile so wide that Kaminari almost laughed.

Ashido's eyes sparkled, being the queen of drama and ships, her mind was racing.

"Alright. Turn in your hero costume design in the morning and I'll give it to you when internship time comes around. Now go, dumb, dumb, and dumber are waiting." He spoke with the most monotone voice ever.

Turning around and facing the door, she saw the truffles of blonde, pink, and black hair waiting for her. With a laugh and a smile, she waved to her teacher and left, "Thank you, Aizawa Sensei!"

"Mina, we should leave them alone." Kaminari whispered into his friends ear, the girl nodding. Sero was so lost in his own thoughts, his eyes glued on the [h/c] haired girl walking in their direction, he didn't hear his friends talking at all.

"Oh, hey!" [L/n] beamed with a smile as she exited the room, though she noticed that Sero was now the only one there.

"So, Marionette, what would you like to do now?" Sero prompted, the two leaving the school building, and soon, school property.

"Well, I have a bunch of studying to do." The girl admitted with a nervous laugh. "Considering how late I joined, I'm a bit behind."

"Wellll, I could help you out, we could study together!" Sero offered, laughing at himself inwardly. Never, ever thought I'd be studying for fun.

"Sure, if you wouldn't mind!"

"Come on, let this possible stoner teach you how it's done."
