ADELE BLACK: THE END

12 HOURS Part 1

It started suddenly, and I felt the ground shake. An explosion... Someone or something had just broken into the castle.

The sudden rumble caused parts of the wall to break off; I wondered where the Golden Trio was.

Before I knew it, everybody was running out of the Great Hall, frantic and paranoid. The time had come, and nobody was prepared for this. Hell, I wasn't prepared. I didn't know who to save...

I ran out of the hall as fast as my petite legs could carry me. Wand out, I surveyed my surroundings. There was already destruction.

Black soot covered some of the paintings like a layer of frosting on a cake. There were new cracks in the wall shaped like roots branching out from the stem of the flower.

Yells of profanity reached my eardrums; something told me that the portraits weren't pleased.

"What the fuck is happening!? Get this bloody soot off my painting!" Screamed one of them. I rolled my eyes in response.

A new rumble suddenly appeared, and specks of dust came down from the ceiling. It was almost like an earthquake was happening.

"PORTEGO!" I screamed, shielding myself from the Death Eater approaching from behind me.

I turned around and looked the at murderer.

It wasn't a murderer.

It was Draco.

"What are you doing, Draco!?" I yelled at him, frightened at what he could potentially do to me.

"I... I am here to fight alongside you, okay?" Draco told me.

If Harry was in the situation, he wouldn't trust the blonde teenager. For some reason, I did. I let him fight alongside me. I would never end up regretting it.

Flashes of light kept appearing, and before I knew it, I heard the familiar voice of Fred Weasley.

"Are you joking, Perce? I don't think I have heard you joke since-"

"FRED!"

Short, I know, but I need you guys to remember that I am a sophomore in high school, taking AP European History (college level coarse) and in Marching Band.

Marching Band is ALMOST over, I just got done with my last Monday reversal a few hours ago.
