Ahmad

It's been a week now since that coincidence meeting with her but it feels like forever. She's been on my mind since then. I performed wudhu and pray two raka'at. I asked Allah to grant me what is best for me.

" Ya Ahmad". Someone shout my name from downstairs. Wait isn't that sumayrah's voice. I quickly rush downstairs and before I knew it someone was already in my arms hugging the life out of me.

" Surprise". Sumayrah whispered yelled in my ears.

" You could've called me to come get you from the airport".

" I wanted to surprise you guys". She said with a chuckle.

" So I am a guy". Mom said walking towards us earning a burst of laughter from us. I watched as Sumayrah walked into Mom's embrace.

" Chill Mom. Twenty first century you know". Suhaylat said giggling.

" Well, Twenty first century children, let's go eat. I'll look for my own century people later". Mom said smiling and we walked to the dinning room and sat down. Suhaylat served us and we dine in immediately.

" So Ya Ahmad, when is she coming?". Sumayrah asked raising an eyebrow.

" Who's coming where?". I asked as I didn't get her question.

" Question on question. I mean our sister in-law". she said and I looked at Mom and Suhaylat to see their expression changed. They really want me to get married but they know I only have eyes on one person.I get up from the table and left to my room ignoring my sister's question. After some minutes, the door opened and Suhaylat came in view holding my plate of food. She sat next to me.

" My one and only brother, I want to have a word with you but finish your food first,okay" she said looking all worried. I nod my head and collect the plate. After I finished eating. She collect the plate and keep it by her side.

" You know Fatima,my friend?". I nod again and she continue " I want you to meet her. I promise she can help you forget Adeela. I promise you won't regret meeting her and you'll really get along with her". She ended looking at me waiting for my reply. My sister is just different. She got the kindest of hearts. She tried introducing many of her friends to me but not a single one work. Saying No would mean upsetting her and I don't want that.

" Okay my love. I'll give it a try,I pray we work it out". I said with a smile plastered on my face.

" Yayy. I love you brother. Now get ready we're going to see her now. It's getting late". She said with a squeal like a little girl.

" So soon? I am not even prepared for this. You know, i have to know how to react when i saw her. Is she even aware of this?".

" Just get ready and wear something nice. I'll be right by the car". She said walking out,leaving me to figure everything out. How am I even going to react. God. I wore Something nice as she said and headed out.

" I was just about to come and get you. You took forever to came out". She said getting inside the car. I followed suit and started the car. She showed the directions while I drove us to the place. The gateman opened the gate and we drove in. She told me to stay in the car while she go get her friend. After about ten minutes, the two reappeared through one of the passage. I stole a glance at the girl. One,two,three. She's beautiful Masha Allah but nothing if compared to Adeela.

" Ya Ahmad, Good evening". She greeted.

" Good evening. how are you doing?". I Said uncomfortably because I am so not used to this kind of situation.

" If you two could excuse me, I'll be right back". Suhaylat managed to dissapear into the house. I sat fiddling with my fingers unable to find the right words to say.

" Uhmm. Ya Ahmad, I am actually not good at conversations when it comes to newly meets. So, how about we just exchange contacts so that we could communicate." She suggested and I couldn't be more than happy hearing her say that. I passed my phone to her and she dialed in her contact and called her own phone saying she'll save my number and then left after saying good night.

Suhaylat reappeared and we left. She kept disturbing me about how it went between us. I just ignored her and drive. She can be too annoying sometimes.

I went straight to my room and change. ,I prayed and then, hit the bed.

Today I am writing my last and final exam before I bid farewell to college
I drove to pick Yusra up as I've called her earlier and informed her we'll be heading to school together. I saw her right outside waiting for me,I parked and she entered.

" Hey,let me go greet mom first". I said trying to remove my seatbelt. But she stopped me saying we're going to be late.

" My friend. Before it's like this exam will never come but see after many years of hardworking it's all coming to an end. I believe the saying everything has it's time". She said joyfully.

" Time is everything my dear. That is why we should all make use of it wisely". I said taking a glance at her and back at the road.

" And then, we have celebration afterwards. I have alot to prepare for. My best friend is getting married. whooooo". She said the latter with a little scream. I Laughed at her childishness. We arrived and rushed to the hall for our final paper.

Here comes another chapter. So, guys our Adeela is getting married🤧 I am missing her already😫 Anyway, let's meet in the next chapter😚 Xoxo❤🦋
