(No one's POV)

That night Addison and Pete met for dinner. They just agreed just to met somewhere, so at 8 o'clock they met at their normal eating place.

When they both arrived, Pete met her with a bouquet of flowers, to give them to her.

"Aww, thank you", She told him, while she was reaching out to take the flowers from his hand.

"You're very welcome, by the way you look beautiful tonight", Pete said, leaning over to kiss her.

"Thank you", Addison responded. She sat down, in the chair that Pete had pulled out for her.

Addison smiled and chuckled.

"What's so funny".

Naomi and Sam!

"What about them"? Pete asked her, curiously.

Addison blushed and looked at him and said, "They were so wrong about you".

Pete leaned forward intrigued. "Really"?

"You do know that they tried to warn me about you, right"?

"Really, they did that"?

"Yeah. That's why I pretended that I wasn't interested in you, it's because of what they said", Addison said, her head down.

"I'm not that guy, I was. But, I'm not anymore", Pete persisted.

"Oh, I know. You're not. I even told that to Naomi today, that you were not the same guy with me".

They both smiled at each other and enjoyed their dinner. Pete put his hand on her leg.

Pete knew that he had to prove Sam and Naomi very wrong.
