(No one's POV)

 A few days later, Naomi finally stuck up with Addison and knock some sense to her. Did she know what she was doing with getting together with Pete?!

Naomi got up from her desk in her office, and she walked down to Addison's office.

She, without knocking, just walked though the door of Addison's office. Addison suddenly looked up at her and smiled.

"Don't smile like that", Naomi said, judgingly.

"Like what, I'm happy", Addison fired back, fiery.

"Oh, yes, when Pete"?!?!??

"Why do you talk about it, like that. It's like you found something disgusting under your desk and you need to throw it", Addison retorted. She was starting to got sick of Naomi's consistent picking and judging behavior.

"I just don't want you to get hurt, and leave the practice. Honestly, I don't know why you are angry at me. You should be happy that I'm looking after you to make sure he doesn't hurt you".

"Well, you are not to worry about me anymore. Also you don't need to worry about me leaving the practice. I am not leaving. So, about Pete, you don't have to worry about him and me, he is not that man with me. His charming, nice and kind. Sure, he has his flats, but so does everybody", Addison fired back.

Naomi relented and gave up. "Okay, I'm going to try to drop it, I just want you to be happy".

Addison smiled at her and said, "I know, and yes I am".

Naomi sighed and said, "Well, I will go and get back to work".

Naomi turned on her heels and walked out and down the hallway.

Addison turned back to her work, shaking her hand about what happened. Pete was wonderful, sweet and loving. Not at all what Naomi and Sam said about who he was.
