When Addie got onto the Hogwarts Express, she was nervous about meeting the 'head boy'. As he was a year older then her and she had never met him before. Luna told her how he was a chaser on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team and was great at Astronomy. Addie said goodbye to the others before walking to the compartment at the front of the train.

When Addie got to the compartment and walked inside. She saw a tall dark curly haired boy leaning against the window. He looked at her and straighten himself up saying "hi, I'm Eric Knight and you must be Adeline Granger."

"Yes, I am and please call me Addie" she replied while they shaked hands. They sat down opposite each other and got to know each other a little. Before discussing the 'prefect' patrol schedules and their subjects for this year. Turns out they would be having some classes together.

When they went to the 'prefect' compartment they told them what to do. Which annoyed Malfoy and Parkinson, greatly. Before they went their separate ways. Addie went to join Ginny in her compartment and told her how the meeting went.

Then they arrived at Hogwarts where their trunks were searched for any dark objects. Mr Filch didn't find her mirror as she carried it always and she was cleared to go to the castle, after their names were marked off a role. Where they sat together with the golden trio and Neville.

(after the feast)

Addie went over to Professor McGonagall and told her she would accept the internship. She and George had talked about it a lot. He wanted her to go and live her dream of being a dragon tamer. Professor McGonagall nodded and told her the password for her new dorm as well as where to find it.

When she got there, the door was blocked by a suit of armor. She said "Brian" and the door was revealed. She entered and saw her stuff already there. There was no sign of Eric so decided to unpack and change her clothes. Her room was the one with the Gryffindor colours, also her name was on the door.

As she was going into her common room an hour later in her pj's (pj pants and a singlet). Eric walked out of his room. He had arrived a half hour ago and just finished unpacking. Turns out he had a pure black cat with amber eyes called 'Shadow'. Libby didn't like cats (except for Hermione's cat Crookshanks) so she stayed away from the feline.

Addie did some studying by the fireplace in an arm chair. As Eric looked through a telescope at the night sky. They spoke every now and then, before they went into their separate rooms to sleep. Libby was on her perch next to Addie's bed sleeping. As she entered the room, she stroked her (Libby's) head before getting into bed and falling asleep.
